Biancolatte

To my nose, Biancolatte is a caramel bomb and I love it for that. I was a little unsure about paying so much for such a simple scent, but when I found a 90% full bottle for less than half of the retail price, I couldn‘t resist. This smells like you fell into a pot of sweet, buttery caramel (without getting burned, haha). The butter note is very noticeable, but it smells like butter caramels, not like pure butter. Especially the opening is so realistic and delicious, but after a couple of hours the vanilla makes it a little less foody and more smooth. This is super-strong and long lasting, I can still smell it on the next day. I sometimes find it annoying when a fragrance lasts that long or rubs off to my scarve, but this just leaves a nice veil of soft, warm vanilla and doesn‘t annoy me at all. It‘s super sweet, this is only for gourmand-lovers, but it‘s fresh in a sweet way... Something in it smells a liiiiittle small bit fruity to me, maybe there is one drop of something lemon-ish in this? Something that doesn‘t make it feel suffocating. Or maybe that‘s what they call the salt note in this, though I don‘t find this salty at all. I don‘t get the comparison to Britney‘s Intimate Fantasy, I own and like that one, but I don‘t find it caramelly, it‘s more of a sweetened musk to my nose and feels a less rounded than Biancolatte. This was recommended to me on the forums when I was looking for my perfect caramel fragrance and it's just that.

Oh my god! When I smelled this for the first time I knew I had to have it. This is a beautiful caramel scent! You can't compare this to any other caramel note. It is so pure, soft, buttery and sweet. This is a true gourmand, it's delicious. You basically want to lick your skin. Well, even others want to lick your skin. I used this fragrance at work the other day and several of my colleagues commented that I smelled like cake and candy. My boyfriend loves it and tells me I smell like butterscotch when I wear it. I have yet to encounter anyone who thinks it's sickening, but they probably haven't told me yet. I can see that this fragrance might be a bit too much for someone, just not for me. I wear this in summertime, daytime, nighttime, whenever I want to, just because I can. Just a note; I live in Norway and summer is basically like late winter/early spring in pretty much the rest of the world. If I lived in Florida I might not grab this fragrance for summer. To sum it up, this is a deliciously comforting scent that embraces you with lovely, buttery caramel. The longevity is good, about 4-5 hours on my skin (which is very good), the sillage isn't enormous, but if you get a little trigger happy it definitely gets noticed.

Love at first sniff. This is straight up sweet vanilla caramel. Sometimes I like to wear sweet fragrances without any fruity notes and this is perfection! It's a skin scent which is good, because a fragrance this sweet might be a problem around other people if it's too cloying. I say just enjoy the candy cloud surrounding your own sweetness. This is highly recommended for gourmand lovers. It may be difficult to find, but it will be worth it. I'm in the US and had to get a sample from an online boutique in Italy, but I'll happily splurge on a full bottle.

Gourmand fragrances aren't at all my cup of tea. I do, in fact, usually hate gourmands. But this one is so buttery and comforting! It smells delicious in a realistic way rather than just plasticky sweet. And it's very simple, realistic creamy vanilla. It doesn't overstimulate me like other sweet scents do. It's something I would never choose wear, it doesn't fit my aesthetic at all, however it's quite addicting and it doesn't give me headaches like other gourmands do. I think I could actually come around and start liking gourmands thanks to this scent!

Warm, vanilic, and cozy! This is such a delectable gourmand fragrance for the fall. I just love basking in this! In comparison to Lalao, this is a lot more vanilla forward, and the buttery-ness of this fragrance is more akin to a baked good. Lalao is much more lactonic, very much giving dairy product.
