Dudù

I don't understand the hate. I think it's a beautiful frangipani-vanilla perfume. It's linear, it's true but it's not boring. Dudu is a sweet perfume. The sweetness of this perfume is close to Mancera Coco Vanille (coco vanille is still sweeter), so if you can stand Coco Vanille, you will be happy to have this in your collection. Frangipani and vanilla are there from the initial spray, at first they are very loud, but then after one hour mellowed down, warmer and cozier. The longevity is more than 10 hours

I get so many compliments when wearing this fragrance specifically from men. I was told I smell edible like candy! 🍬

"Dudu" is heavy and "Dudu" is extremely long lasting, more than 12 hours on my wrists and still radiating strongly. This perfume for me opened like a sugary powder bomb, I think there was way too much frangipani - it was almost chokingly powdery, imagine the cheap kind of baby powder you would never even dare to put on your child - "Dudu" for me for the first hours felt like that. I wasn't bad, but it was on the verge of being chemical somehow. And it was too much - "Dudu" made a complete mess on my wrist. The good part comes within few hours, where I'm hit with very feminine smelling powdery vanilla - very pure, pretty yet a bit too linear. And in linearity comes the problem - I think "Dudu" besides the heaviness, when used sparingly, is a bit grown up version of "Pink Sugar", but I mean like 3-4 years more grown up. There is nothing sophisticated about this on myself. Given the fact of similarity of "Pink Sugar", I don't think this is worth the asking price...there are so many vanillas out there and yet another overly sweet sugarbumb is not what people usually try to find when exploring niche. Then again "Dudu" is a powerbomb of 12+ hours staying power. So maybe you have the extra money and you just have the sweet tooth for perfumes also - then I'd say go for "Dudu". Just don't expect being surprised and don't search for uniqueness of any sorts. That said - I am still eager to explore the whole line! Quality was good.

Dudu is a bland and unoriginal vanillic-floral, one which feels as cheap and lifeless as the shameless knock-offs you’d find in a Turkish bazaar. The frangipani note is rather displeasing, to put it politely. It’s sweet and honeyed, with a foamy rosey facet underneath, but it smells sadly sour and crude, almost like plasticine; along the vanilla which is entirely unnecessary. Disappointing from start to finish, I’m not sure who this perfume is targeted to, except those without taste.

I ordered a small sample of this based on the recommendation that it smells akin to Profumum Roma Vanitas. Ladies and Gents – it smells NOTHING like Vanitas. Dudu turns my stomach and I rarely say that about a perfume. It smells like a sticky jammy sickly mess. There is nothing nice about this in my opinion. It smells super synthetic and is extremely loud. I really disliked it ..Sorry..just being honest..

Smells very similar to Love don’t be shy. I’m getting heavy orange blossom which is not even listed in the notes. Also getting a hint of a dryer sheet type smell. Not for me.
