Geco

A boozy, masculine-leaning fragrance that works well year-round—though perhaps best avoided in the hottest months due to its sweetness. The opening is lively, with notes of rum, cinnamon, and nutmeg blending into a touch of honey. The sweetness is noticeable but never overdone; this is a gourmand, yes, but a well-balanced one. Soon after, patchouli and sandalwood emerge, adding sensuality and depth. This balance makes the fragrance appropriate even for more formal settings—like the office, for example. The drydown is all about subtle sweetness: vanilla in the base that settles into a skin scent. But even here, it never becomes cloying, maintaining an overall harmony where each olfactory note remains distinct and well-structured throughout its evolution. On my skin, the performance is excellent—it lasts a solid half-day between sillage and skin scent. If you're looking for a not-too-gourmand fragrance that you can wear in virtually any setting, this is, in my opinion, a great choice.

STH / STHE are my all time favorite perfumes. This is right in the middle scent wise. Durability was quite good. Tested it at a niche store in Italy. It's definitely more booze and vanilla forward. the dried fruits accord is replaced by nutmeg. This perfume is alas soul-less because it's a blatant dupe. It's not a perfume-oil dilution dupe, this is high quality dupe. 7/10 This can be purchased on parfumaria

Extremely long lasting scent - more than 12 hours on myself, but it's somewhat disappointing nevertheless. The problem I have with "Geco" and with some other new fancy niches - they are too linear. When I applied "Geco" I instantly fell the note of RUM, very realistic - bittersweet, sticky and boozy. I love the scent of rum, so I was super stoked to see where "Geco" will take me, but oh the horror - that was all I got! For 12 hours! It's like I've constantly spilled rum on my wrist and kept re-spilling it every hour to have the scent with me everywhere. Yes, maybe it could be absolutely awesome for those who love rum note in their scents, but given the price tag - it's too simple. Why would I pay for smelling JUST like booze? Where are the other notes? Where is the development? Maybe it's just me.
