Lalao

Stefania was apparently trying create a fragrance that reminded her of the time when her daughter was a baby with this one. I wasn't there when her daughter was a baby, but I'm sure this is exactly what It smelled like. This fragrance smells like sweet, warm milk. It doesn't get more comforting than this! The smell creates a feeling of a warm hug. I love this fragrance so much! I can spray this all day and inhale the scent with pure joy. Lalao doesn't have a great sillage, it is a skin scent and it really doesn't bother me to much. I wear this scent for my own enjoyment and not for others. Not so sure everyone would love this as it's very unique and sweet. The longevity isn't all that great either, and for the price tag on this fragrance one might expect a "better" performance, but for me this is still worth the cost. I have never smelled anything quite like this and it's perfect in every other way. I strongly recommend every gourmand lover to try this fragrance!

This is the absolute best cream scent ever created. I habe been searching for a decade. There is no harsh alcohol scent in the open like chabaud un lait. It has better staying power than my beloved comptour sud pacifique matin calin. The depth, the intensity, the complex nature of the realistic vanilla and sweetened condensed milk is mind bending. I adore this fragrance. If you ever want a scent you love to be more creamy, this is your girl. I have half of of bottle from the first one left, a back up bottle and I still want more.

The dream milk fragrance. Everything about it is perfect (although the sillage could be better). It's a simple, linear, condensed milk scent with absolutely no hint of floral, which is great, because in my opinion flowers have no place in a milk perfume. I can never understand why perfumers mix flowers with milk (looking at you, Blanche Bête)... even the collab with Commodity and Perfumerism is floral. This is a total love, just wish it wasn't so expensive.

Oh my god I'm obsessed with this one. It's THE milk fragrance I've been looking for. I can smell it all day. I love spraying in my hair and smelling it throughout the day as the breeze picks up. I don't think it turned sour at all but I can see why it may for some people. It's a very realistic milk note. It smells like if you boiled sweetened condensed milk until it turns into the brown caramel.

A milky gourmand explosion! Lalao opens up with the most realistic milk note I've ever experienced in a perfume, and settles down to a creamy, delicious, sophisticated french dessert. It's really sublime! Great for layering too. Though it stays pretty close to the skin, the longevity is amazing and the layering effect absolutely consistent. A definite love for me!

Yes! Zoo-Kekse! This is so sweet, but I actually like it. I was hoping for more milk than sugar, which dominates on my skin. But this perfume knows how to behave, so it never becomes too much or sticky. Very happy I have tried it, will spend some time with it and see what happens. I think the longevity is quite bad.

This is pure vanilla bliss! Lalao is so comforting and warm, it's like being wrapped in a soft blanket. The sweetness isn't overpowering, it's just perfectly balanced with the milky notes. Perfect for cozy evenings or anytime you need a pick-me-up.

Condensed milk yummy goodness! If you want the most comforting, gourmand, milky scent, this is it. One of the best perfumes in my fragrance collection. If you're a gourmand lover, it's impossible not to like this! True to its notes.

The overall impression I get from Lalao is a mug of warm sugared milk and a side of Leibnitz animal crackers (Zoo-Kekse for my fellow Germans). Oddly specific, I know, and I‘m not even sure if these cookies really have anything in common with Lalao, but it makes me think of them. So, this is very cozy and reminiscent of childhood and easier times. Warm and vanillic and very sweet. I like my milk cold and fresh, not just in perfumes, but also i real life, so this isn‘t quite what I‘m craving, but I could imagine that it could be perfect for someone who is looking for a warm milk scent. It also projects really well and lasts long, so in that aspect it would be worth the price. Unfortunately there is a downside, and that is the opening. I tried it a couple of times and the first spray always smells like a screechy artificial coconut bodyspray to me. Maybe with a hint of apricot added and the sweet milk already underneath it. That note vanishes in half an hour and is mostly noticeable directly on the skin, not so much in the sillage, and I noticed it‘s better when I take care to spray a mist from afar, but still... Definitely try before you buy.

This is such a beautiful comforting scent .So warm cozy and beautiful . This could easely have been to sweet or Childish . But on my skin this feal like a grown perfume . Like a warm comforting hug from you nanny or someone you hold oh so dear in life. Cose your eyes , just feal the relaxation and all your burden lifted off your shoulders . Truly this is a Gem . i reach for this ever so often , This realy calms me down , ( perfect to wear for bedtime aswell..) Another thing about this one . Initialy when i tested this i fealt transportd to childhood carnival and tivolies . Candyfloss Popcorn and all the warm jummy treats you can get at such a plase . I know it sounds abit to much , but this infact smells warmer and not cloying like it thought such a perfume could smell ( with the memorys of carnivals :)..) Realy worth trying if you like the warm milky kind of scent but dont want it to be To cloying and childish like other Milk shake kind of scents can be . I realy Love this one and dont ever want to run out of it . i only have a 10 ml decant but deseperatly wants a full bottle . Istent LOVE

The sweet, creamy perfume of your dreams! It's very cozy and milky, but I'm not sure that it would be good for warm weather, it's so lactonic that it might smell a bit too cloying and gross in the heat. I don't get a ton of vanilla, it's there, but I wouldn't say that it's vanilla-y enough to be classified as a vanilla perfume. It'll do if you want something not wholly gourmand in the way that sweeter vanillas tend to be. Would love to get even a sample of Biancolatte from the same brand, in order to compare.

Though I can perfectly understand how this gets so many dislikes, personally, I love this. This is indeed the smell of real milk and mother/childhood. To be more exact, it smells like melted butter and quite intimate. It's the warmest and least sour milk perfume I've tried, for example Crema di latte is much sourer like cheese. I prefer Lalao much more. Milk Shake by Malizia is not at all like this, it's baby powder like and more of an idea than literal.

Man oh man, that's milk all right! To me it smells like heated up milk with a layer of film on top of it. The lasting power surprised me, I smelled it even the next morning when I woke up. Sadly, I actually do not like milk, especially when it's heated up, so I really, really would not like to smell like this. If you're looking for that type of scent you should definitely try it, it's so on point. I've never smelled a perfume like this before.

Can ́t smell a thing... OK, scratch that. can ́t smell a thing immediately after the spraying, but an hour later, I get a faint smell reminding me of condensed sweetened milk. On my clothes I smell it after 24 hours, but it is very faint. I do love the smell of condensed milk, but I am not sure if I want to smell like it :) Maybe if I used it with another smell, for example with Bois Imperial? It could work then.

I 100% agree with the review below. This is exelent craftsmanship! However I don't realy want to smell like this. It is alost a little sickening to smell this all day and you will cuz the performance is realy good! Its the smell of boiling fresh milk with sugar. Similar to the smell of a newborn baby that is exclusevly breastfeed. The smell of lactation. Lovely, but nothing I personaly would want as a parfume.

Wow, this actually smells like milk! The first blast is very alcoholic, but a few seconds later it becomes......milk. Just milk. It’s not particularly sweet, i would say it’s more of a « heated milk ready to be used to make rice pudding » kind of scent. Not very strong, but it’s so realistic that it’s much better that way ! I love it.

O cheiro me remete a um doce de leite pingo ou a um picolé de leite condensado. Para mim, é um pouco mais doce do que eu gosto, mas bem aconchegante para dias frios. Talvez se fizer um layring com uma fragrância mais almiscarada, fiquei mais agradável ao meu olfato.

I was craving to try this. This is exactly as it sounds - hot warm milk with sugar. I Think it is he most appropriet to be worn by new moms. This newborn baby suitable scent is very comforting. If you are a gourmand lover, you should definitely try this out.

Basically this is a perfect copy Lait concentrée by Chabaud with better performance.

Perfectly captured moment of cracking the caramelized top of a crème brûlée and digging your spoon into the creamy vanilla custard underneath. It doesn't go overly milky or fudgy, the sugar and vanilla notes don't mix, they sit on top of each other just like in a crème brûlée. Longevity is terrible but this fragrance is way too high on my "so edible it's unwearable" list regardless- no loss there.

I was so excited to try this and sadly, it was a no for me. I always have to try milk notes and this one smells rancid on me.

I’ve been on the hunt for some really good lactonic fragrances, and I’ve come to find that fragrances that have a milk note that aren’t well supported by the other notes in the fragrance, tend to smell like sour milk and tend to almost immediately turn into a skin scent. Unfortunately that is also the case with this fragrance. The opening of this is a blast of photorealistic cold milk that I loved but unfortunately gradually the scent becomes more like cheese on my skin after the dry down and made my stomach turn a little. This also almost immediately becomes a skin scent. Longevity: 1/10 super poor 1-2 hours if even that Projection: 0/10 immediately turns into a skin scent

Perhaps it's lactose intolerance, but I don't think I want to smell like a sweet glass of milk! It's very realistic and different, if a little 'thick' and creamy. It's got longevity and sillage, it's a simple scent, but it's just not for me. Others may like it if they like that 'hot milky' smell, mixed with vanilla and straight up sugar.

Smells like a spoiled condensed milk

When I was 5 years old and already in 1st grade, feeling quite mature, my little brother was still only 2 and I remember very distinctly the moment I realized that he could not eat anything, ANYTHING, without making an incredible mess. This was one of only several major differences between him, a baby, and myself, a much older and much smarter full-fledged child. Our parents would walk us over to the Mr. Softee truck and buy us ice cream, and I would obsessively lap up any drips that formed around the sides of the cone so that they would not go on to dirty up my hands. My brother, in contrast, would always come away from his ice cream eating experience veritably COVERED in sticky, melted vanilla cream. This is what Lalao smells like, and I mean that entirely. Much in the same way that melted ice cream smells sweet and sticky but not necessarily identifiable, this fragrance smells sweet and sticky without calling to mind any specific substance in particular. Is it milky? Yes. Is it sweet? Absolutely. Does it contain vanilla? A smidge. Okay well what is it? I don't know. Just one of many mysterious sugary residues you might find clinging to the hands and face of a cherubic but messy toddler.

First spray smells like candy floss, vanilla and sugar... then the milk comes in - still quite sweet. To my nose there is a beautiful skin musk humming in the background through all of this creating a very cosy skin scent. Reminds me quite a bit of Ava Luxe's Vanilla Musk versus Ava Luxe's Milk which has more milk and lactones in it than this scent...Lalao has more sugar, vanilla and musk. I get no "woods" or "spice" as I see in the description above. Also cannot imagine this as unisex - to me smells quite feminine. I received this sample prior to ever smelling La Vie Est Belle but if you love that candy floss musk note in La Vie Est Belle I think you would like this fragrance too.

Ho avuto l'occasione di testare questo profumo. Molto particolare davvero. Un profumo che all'inizio è una miscela di vaniglia zuccherata e latte. Una volta asciugato, profuma di panna...classico odore di latte scaldato. Longevità ottima ( il profumo si sente specialmente sui vestiti anche dopo un giorno o due,col la classica nota di burro..). Sillage,all'inizio potente..dopo un'ora o due diventa moderato. Per gli amanti dell'odore di latte e burro ( personalmente il drydown diventa fastidioso per il suo sentore di burro).

Boiled Milk De Zomerkoningin is 100% right. This is boiled milk before you put in your cocoa for hot chocolate - OR - boiled milk/cream and melted butter before you add potatoes for mashed potatoes. I feel like it needs something added to it like the examples above! 😂 Kind of strange as a wearable by itself but, wow, VERY photorealistic hot milk. If you have a gourmand that lacks depth , this may be good for layering. May be good to layer with a linear vanilla, cinnamon, sugary, coffee or overly sweet almond frags.

This smells like boiled milk. Very realistic, but who wants to smell like boiled milk actually? Not me. Sillage is very poor, it becomes a skin scent immediately. After a while it get's a bit sickening as well. I have the same with soapy smells or very realistic gourmands. They can be so realistic, so it is a job very well done. But, do you want to smell like a cooky, soap or milk? To me this is more like art, but not a wearable perfume.

I was so excited to try this bit unfortunately its a disappointment! Smells like sour milk almost like a baby vomiting breast milk. And its so light almost unnoticeable. Considering the price point. Its a let down

Tested this alongside Lait Concentré by Chabaud. Both very similar in my opinion! However, Lalao last wayyy longer, I'd say twice as long. Dry down is very beautiful sweetened milk with soft projection.

I typically love milky fragrances. However this one smells like straight Parmesan cheese to me. Gross.
