Daiman Eden

I received my bottle and immediately opened and sprayed this. I love love love it. I was going to rush and get a back up bottle before I write a review but because I have Nusuk Mahab, I have decided I will wait to finish both this and Mahab before I buy a back up bottle. If guidance smells like Zimaya Daiman Eden, then I will get it. I definitely prefer this over Nusuk Mahab, they are similar, but Daiman Eden is creamier, smoother, and it is not screechy like Nusuk Mahab. There is a sexiness to this, its very alluring, I keep nuzzling my nose into my wrists. Its currently only doing 4hrs on my skin, I hope this becomes longer than 4hrs as time goes on.

I have not tested Guidance or any other Amouage fragrances. So for me Daiman Eden stands on it's own, not as a dupe. I had no expectations other than the notes listed here. I was very impressed by the package and the bottle. And the scent itself is beautiful and elegant, has a spark from pepper that makes this so unique. It's strong and longlasting. Luxorious. I would not wear this to work but for special occasions. Very different from what I usually wear but I am warmly welcoming Daiman Eden to my collection.

FINALLY A middle eastern dupe foe Guidance 46. Dua Fragrances had the only 46 dupe now this. For the price/volume, this is way better than Dua. I have long awaited a 46 dupe

Today I received my bottle of Daiman Eden and did a side by side comparison with Guidance and Guidance 46. It’s definitely closer to Guidance 46. Right now, I’m picking up a minty freshness from Daiman Eden that makes it easy to tell them apart. Longevity is a solid four hours on me. You know how a fragrance house will release a matching lotion or body oil, but it smells slightly different from the perfume? That’s exactly how Daiman Eden feels at the moment. You can clearly tell it shares the same DNA, just with subtle differences. I’ve put Eden away for now and plan to revisit it in a few months once it’s had time to mature. I like it, and I’ll enjoy her on the days when I want the essence of my Guidance 46 but don’t want to “waste” her just lounging at home, lol. Honestly? Get it. It’s pretty reasonably priced.

I agree with nanalvzpink review below, this is closer to guidance 46 instead of guidance. Daiman Eden has additional creamy almond which can be a tiny bit smell like doll head if you sniff your skin closely, but if you just smell it in the air, it is very similar and can pass as guidance 46. I got it and wear this in winter in nyc, it is 70 f degree outside so I can preserve this for more than 5 hours on my clothes. For a dupe which I got for 30 dollars, this is a no brainer.

Absolutely loved guidance 46 but it’s too damn expensive and I told myself I’ll never buy dupes, but hear I am. This is really the only exception to buying a dupe imo. Anyways, the fragrance itself smells veryyyy close and it’s really just a softer, less fruitier version of guidance 46.

I haven't tried Guidance 46, so I can't say to what extent it's a dupe, but it's an elegant woody-incense scent—though it's not unique. The problem is that it lasts a maximum of 30 minutes...

Don't get me wrong... its smells wonderful. However, it lasts about 15-30 minutes and then its completely gone:(

It's rather giving me the basic Guidance vibe than 46. Since I don't like basic Guidance, this one's also a no for me. I liked the nutty notes and pear toned up in 46, it balanced out the agressive animalic notes. Here I feel strongly the sweet, sweaty body odour notes, just like in Guidance. If you like the overall Guidance vibe, go for Daiman Eden, it's ridiculously cheap for the very close similarity.💵

The *FBB* (Free Bottle Brigade) is heralding *Daiman Eden* as the (inexpensive) second-coming of Amouage *Guidance 46*. Considering the staggering proliferation of clones and dupes on-the-market (and the extraordinary interest >300+ comments and counting< Patric Rhys' excellent FRAGRANTICA dupes article **Dupe Culture Is An Affliction The Industry Created Itself ** is generating) I'm wondering "What took them so long?" I ordered a bottle of *Daiman Eden*. I have *GUIDANCE* and *GUIDANCE 46*. I love them both. I also have OUTLANDS (of the three *OUTLANDS is my favorite). Why order a dupe if I own the original? Because I like layering and experimenting. I'm a fan of knowing what a Tobacco or an Oud or a Marshmallow or a Sweet Cherry will do to the original but I don't want to "waste" (not an accurate word)....the expensive stuff. For $40 I can play around as much as I like. Works for me. UPDATE: *Daiman Eden* is NOT a *Guidance 46* dupe/schmoop/clone. No way, Josephine. Do they share fragrance notes? Yes. Does that mean they smell alike? Not to my nose. To be kind and generous > *Daiman Eden* and *Guidance 46* are cousins but they haven't seen each other in years.

I have never smelled Guidance 46, but I have smelled Guidance. This perfume reads so well. I was expecting this to be one of my favorite fragrances in my collection because I do like guidance and I think it smells like Arabian royalty. However, I am really really torn. Daiman reminds me of guidance but like, it’s in the background. On my skin, it smells like the almond note has soured with the musk and sandalwood notes with some roses peaking through. I wanted so badly to like this but something is just off. I am like 90% sure it’s the almond note because I have Shagaf Oud Tonka and I feel the same way about that fragrance. The almond note turns into a play-doh note. In addition, daiman literally lasts like 10 minutes on my skin before disappearing. It does last forever on clothes but it’s a very faint perfume. It’s not a fragrance that’s going to project. And it is not a safe blind-buy either. Whenever I smell this fragrance, it almost makes me wince/gag but I look past it because I still have hopes that it will mature nicely in a few months. If not, this is definitely going away.

The bottle is very pretty, and while I'm still testing the performance and the smell, I'm quite please so far. I didn't like Guidance or Guidance 46 when i first tried them, but that can happen if you're smelling a lot of fragrances at once. I wanted to try this dupe to give the DNA a chance, and it grew on me. In the beginning it has that sweet nuttiness that intrigued me, then it becomes minty and somehow bitter for a bit, at which point my nose detects no sweetness, then in the final drydown it's back to an even sweeter, gorgeous rose almond scent. I'll be trying it some more, I think we'll get along once it develops more and my nose gets more comfortable with it

Wore this today and my daughter told me i smell like a spiced grandma. Im not ready to smell like a well seasoned grandma just yet.

The problem with Zimaya fragrances is that they don't last more than 30 minutes. So it's a no for me for all Zimaya.
