Night Shadow

I’ll start by saying that I haven’t had the chance to smell Ombre Leather yet, so I’m evaluating Zimaya Night Shadow purely on its own merits rather than as a clone. And honestly? On its own, this is a fantastic fragrance for the price. It opens with a very bold, masculine leather. It’s not a soft suede; it’s more of a rich, "expensive car interior" or "high-end leather jacket" vibe. There is a subtle smokiness and a hint of sweetness in the dry down that makes it feel sophisticated rather than just harsh. It smells much more expensive than the price tag suggests. Maceration is a Must! If you judge this perfume right out of the box, you might be disappointed. When I first sprayed it, it felt a bit chaotic and overly synthetic. However, maceration is absolutely necessary. After spraying it a few times and letting the bottle sit in a dark place for about 4 weeks, the transformation was incredible. The notes smoothed out, the harsh alcohol opening disappeared, and the longevity improved significantly. Give it time to breathe! Performance: Longevity: Easily 7+ hours on my skin. Sillage: It projects very well for the first 2 hours. People will definitely notice you. Vibe: Perfect for cold weather, evening wear, or when you want to feel confident and edgy. Even without knowing the "original" it’s compared to, I can say this is a high-quality, dark, and elegant scent. Just be patient with it—let it macerate, and you’ll be rewarded with a masterpiece.

You have to like the note of smoke, it’s quite present here.

After ~2.5 months of maceration, this turned from harsh and synthetic to relatively smooth. Opens with strong smoky birch and incense, plus a punchy rose with a raspberry-like sweetness (even if not listed). The first 5 to 10 minutes can lean slightly feminine because of that bright rose sweetness, then it shifts into a masculine smoky rose where the birch incense dominates. I still get basically no oud. Vs Ombre Nomade, it’s only about 50 to 55% similar. Lighter, more rose-forward, and missing the intense animalic oud core, or basically any oud for that matter. Performance: 6 to 8 hours, then close skin scent 10+ with moderate projection for the first couple of hours.

lowk not really a fragrance review master but my dad has this and it lowk smells like a candle, idk if thats good or bad but its pretty good projection i can smell him from quite far away
