Zukhruf Black

Review after 3 months. I picked up this fragrance because of the bottle and the dupe factor. Altough I never smelled DSE so basically blind buy. First month or 2 the sillage of ZB was really poor. After two months the sillage and character of this fragrance stabilized. From sweet lime licorice, borderline cola type of scent to more mature spicy lavender with cinnamon. Longevity now is really great after maceration. I wear it on jacket while outside and if you apply 5-7 sprays to each sleeve, you can get up to 3-4 days of performance, after that you can reapply as you like. It lasts great on hoodies and sweathirts as well. Skin wise its for a whole day. Sillage however is arms lenght and rarely hovers after you in the air for a while. I think its great for every season and occasion if you like to wear it. That being said, this fragrance is great on its own. It's sweet, fresh and spicy. Crowd pleaser and worth blind buy. Sillage - 7.5/10 Longevity - 9/10 Scent - 9.5/10

Such a nice scent, with very strong licorice, grapefruit, lavender and wood notes. If you like Sauvage Elixir you will definitely find a lot similarities with this, this is one of the few affordable ME clones that have depth and 0 harshness although i find the scent very very linear(good thing for me) performance went from 3 hours to 7 hours after maturing and projects decently, lingers on clothes for more than a day Edit: the performance did not improve, gone in 3 hours, but this does not smell harsh, I am keeping this one

I chose this one because of the notes purely and it’s really good! 😍 I was looking for fragrances with licorice in them because I love this note, and it had also lavender and spices so I was sure I was going to love it! I’m a girl (I never tried Dior Elixir) but saw in the reviews that they are similar but I don’t care actually lol I do enjoy some unissex fragrances (specially with notes of lavender, leather, spices, oud...). The presentation of this one is really beautiful as well 💜

Zukhruf Black by Zimaya is absolutely outstanding — easily one of the best-smelling fragrances I’ve come across so far. I’ll be honest, my collection isn’t huge, but my girlfriend spent a full year dragging me through perfumeries, so my nose has definitely been trained whether I wanted it or not. This fragrance is perfect for anyone who loves licorice, spice, power and woody notes. For the price, it’s an exceptional buy and highly recommended.

Disclaimer: I dislake Elixirs generally, the only one I like is Sauvage (also enjoyed Asad but with time it got overpowering). Zukhruf on the other hand does Elixir well, is much more smoother, less loud and "stingy". To me it is a more elegant variation on the original. Having a decant of Sauvage I think it is obviously more potent but on the other hand much harder to wear as a daily. Zukhruf I find quite easy to wear.

A lovely spicy and soapy perfume a bit like Asad which I love. Zukhruf is a little bit woodsier though. The performance is excellent. The dry down is a clean almost mossy vibe which is really pleasant. The bottle is beautiful heavy black glass. A beautiful and potent masculine parfum. I have a very large collection of fragrances and this is now in the top six in my profile.

I liked this a lot more than I thought I was going to. Absolutely intoxicating scent. It's heavy on the licorice and cinnamon and there's a candylike, fizzy quality to it - it smells like cola flavored sour belts-candies that are common in Sweden. The bottle is solid glass and feels high quality, too.

This is an actually wearable Dior Sauvage Elixir type fragrance, cuz you might actually not suffocate everyone with this.

It smells sophisticated and welcoming. Good to have in my collection.

I’ve just unpacked this beauty and given it the first few sprays, so please take my impressions with a pinch of salt. As for the presentation, I have to say it’s really well designed. Even the box itself made a great first impression. The bottle is fairly heavy and feels very well crafted, which I love. Scent-wise, it opened quite citrusy (maybe grapefruit?) with a touch of spice, but as it dried down an intense woody note started to come through, like stepping into a Finnish sauna and catching that warm, comforting smell of wood. I’m curious to see how it develops after a few weeks of wearing, but so far I’m very happy with the purchase and can’t wait to rock it in the coming days.

8/10 This gives off some Boss Bottled Absolu light leather vibes with with some well balanced floral things also going on. I didn't like the initial sprays on a tester strip, but this transforms on skin. Really projects and has strong sillage. It has a lot going on with it and my wife likes it.

First cologne I ever got, absolutely love it for the colder months and i got many compliments while wearing it. This was my daily wear for a while

Old man scent, liquorish bomb, unbelievably strong, non linear, great price. I am not the target demographic simply.

It opens up terrible and I regretted getting this. After about 15 or 20 minutes it settles into a pretty nice scent. The nutmeg, licorice, vanilla combine for a nice sweet spice scent. It reminds me of cloves though I dont think there is any in it. Reminds me of fall. Its sillage is weak. Spray heavy but not immediately before leaving the house, let it dry down.

This is a dupe of PDM Layton. Not a very good one -- it's not as refined, strong or lasting as Layton. It desperately tries to replicate that woody-vanilla scent profile, but it falls short of being identifiable as the original. The fact that no one else has listed Layton under the "Reminds me of..." section proves the point.

First fragrance that I found sickening and regretted wearing. Strong, sweet vanilla cinnamon for the first 10 minutes, quite unisex; I've definitely smelled this on women. Intensity mellows down very quickly to a woody spicy scent, and 6 hours later you can still smell creamy vanilla on the skin, and many hours longer on clothes. Scent profile itself is not bad, just not my cup of tea, but the deal-breaker was my vomit-inducing reaction to some note, I can't put my finger on what exactly, perhaps one of the chemical ingredients. It's as if you're smelling something edible, but so chemical that your body reacts in repulsion. It has repulsed me so much that I stomach-cringed at the thought of wearing fragrance (this or any other) for the next several days. First time this happened to me and I wear everything from nice stuff from Guerlain and Hermès to cheapies from Zara. Maybe there was something wrong with the sample, but the experience was so bad it will be a while before I sample anything else from this house or Arab clone houses in general.

First of all the bottle is stunning! Heavy black glass with a glass magnetic cap... Come on! The embossed seal is gorgeous (I think Zuhkruf means 'stamp'). This could be a classical 1930s / 40s bottle. Fragrance wise is just a very classical spice-wood blend, with a hint of citric. It's very safe, not a wow for me. There is nothing overwhelming, overbearing about this, but it's not a vile synthetic fragrance either. For me it's a bit dated, it reminds me of 90's perfumes like Drakkar Noir, Bogart or Tsar by Van Cleef. Maybe a bit less aromatic. People compare it to Sauvage Elixir, this a more robust version with a stronger fresh citric and nutmeg opening , that very quickly sets into a much clear spice / wood, but definitely spot on!t At an astonishing fraction of the price. (€18 at Deloox). Longevity on me is about 5-6 hrs, but it lingers on clothes. The bottle is much nicer than Dior's!

@UGAMark Wut? I think you either reviewed the wrong thing or you're leaving reviews under the influence of some heavy drugs. Layton is known for its apple note. No apple in Zukhruf. Sauvage Elixir is known to have a licorice note which you find in Zukhruf, but not in Layton.

Hello everyone. I bought Zukruf yesterday, in my opinion, it is the 1-1 clone of Sauvage Elixir with 90% of similarity. But the sillage and performance are both average, maybe with two months maceration it can get better perfomance.

Listen to me very carefully, this is exactly the same as sauvage elixir !!!! It smells fantastic and the performance is very supreme, PLUS it’s headache-proof !!! Save some money and buy it now !!! Holy shit !!! 9/10

Ordered & it is delivering tomorrow, from what I sweet here. It's money well spent (I will be updating this when I receive the bottle)

Weak on me and somewhat elixer like but misses the mark... other clones are better. Like the heavy bottle though just too weak

For me this is better than Asad and I have both. Better longevity and better smell. 💯

Tested this at Mustafa. Opens Exactly Like Asad and smells like Asad.
