Zippo GLORIOU.S.

A great fragrance comes from a competent "nose"! Maurizio Cerizza had previously showed his skills roccobarocco, Hugh Parsons and making other smells great !! I think it created big again !! The scent reminds me a little of the Azzaro Decibel mood, but I think it's much more sophisticated and creation ..... More Games sweeter notes and chords .... maybe a little bit more modern concepts such as AD but it is more natural to wear. I especially like it with chocolate and tobacco notes !! Overall, a really likable fragrance you wear a really cool feeling (glorious)! At the same time modern, classic and special too! A great fragrance comes from a competent "nose"!

I initially smell a strong citrus and anise. This will take a long time. Then vanilla and chocolate are revealed and a balanced sweetness meets you. It stays on my skin for more than 6 hours and is spread wide. Good job. My score 7.5/10

This is a lovely scent, so here's my breakdown. Citrus: yes, in the opening it has this sourness I couldn't really associate with either grapefruit or lemon. Soft spicy: yes, but just as a feeling, not the kind of spicy you usually find in fragrances (a la Spicebomb for example). Anis: definitely, it has a prominent licorice vibe that stays throughout the life of it. Powdery: not so much, I'm not getting powdery vibes. Vanilla: yes, but subdued in the background. Aromatic: not really, I don't get any aromatic vibes. Sweet: it's definitely sweet, but not overly so. Musky: I'm not getting musky vibes. Chocolate: no chocolate here. Amber: yes, but not in the sweet labdanum sense (a la Grand Soir), but more like an incense vibe at a certain point. I'm also getting a strong woody note despite no wood notes being listed. To sum up, I'd say this is a sweet licorice scent, that turns incensey woody in the drydown. The closest kin would be Lolita Lempicka Homme, but I prefer this one.

Really enjoy this one. Although it is cheap, the scent itself is very well done. The blending of the notes give it a slightly fresh, leather smell. With some sharp edges of the Anise and Black Musk. The dark chocolate and tobacco are for support, but don't stand out. Unique in a kind of way. Very nice for spring and autumn or a cooler, summer evening. Definitely one to try.

Reminds me Prada luna Rosa in the beginning but then it turns to something strong. I dont know what but it too strong i think. About the 3 hours it ́ lovely sweet skin smell Not bad but try before you buy

Wow...this is much nicer than I expected it to turn out! Fragrance starts out with a strong Grapefruit/Star Anise/Leather mixture that smells A LOT like "Dior - Homme Eau" in the opening! At first I was like "what the heck...this is Dior - Eau!!". But then, after about 10-15 minutes the opening scent transitioned to more of a "Leather" scent that stayed until the frag hit the mid-stage. During the Mid-stage, the frag seemed to morph from a citrusy-soapy-leather scent into a chocolatey-leather-musky scent and I was honestly impressed! I'd always wondered what could have been done with "Dior Homme Eau" if the fragrance was built to develop beyond the "Iris/Citrus" notes that it currently embodies. "Zippo - GlorioU.S." seems to take full advantage of that opportunity and gives you a very VERY nice "Two-Fer" in this one fragrance! "Dior Homme Eau" and "Dior Homme" in one fragrance...AWESOME! The Drydown stage, for me, consisted of the remaining traces of the citrusy-soapy-leathery mix with a nice smooth amount of musk revealed. I didn't feel as though there was much Chocolate remaining or any actual "Vanilla" in the mix, but the drydown did have a softer powdery feel to it that was evocative of a vanilla/benzoin presence...maybe that was the Amber? I dunno, it's not an identifiable vanilla fragrance, but the presence of something vanillic is definitely felt. This fragrance is very confusing...I am actually wondering just what I'm smelling most of the time. On skin, sometimes I get a darker "Prada Lhomme" or "Dior Eau"...sometimes I get "Leather Jacket". I'll give it a full wear tomorrow, but so far...this is really smelling like things I've smelled before...but I don't know which one. (to be updated) Scent: Lemon-Grapefruit-Leather? (Prada Lhomme/Dior Homme Eau) I'm confused... Cost: Good value Longevity: Two sprays of this seems to be overkill..I'm thinking it's gonna be waaaay up there in the hours of longevity. UPDATE-1: Welp...I went in the bathroom to scrub this off and as I walk past her the wife says to me "What is that, it smells nice!" I said to her "What!? You like the way that smells? It's like a leather jacket dipped in grapefruit!?" Her response, "Yeah, it smells really nice...it smells...soapy" So that confirms that it DOES smell like "Dior Homme Eau" or "Prada - Lhomme"!!! Why does it smell like leather to me tho? Maybe I sprayed it on too heavy...yeah, that's gotta be it. Soooooo...it looks like I'll be hanging onto this after all. Maybe I can spray it once to add a "Leather accent" to one of my regular base-layer vanilla fragrances or something. There's no way I'm ever spraying this more than twice ever again tho...lol. Now to decide which vanilla frag I'm gonna layer this with tomorrow. This fragrance is very confusing... *sigh* 10JUN22: Yeah...I can't. All I smell is Leather...and I hate it. This one is going on the selling block.

This is worst fragrance I've ever bought. It was cheap and I blind bought this. I hope it's just my bottle but it smells like sickly sweet insecticide based on horrible Lavander and Vanilla notes. For me:1/10

Is it Glorious? My SOTD (Scent of the Day): Zippo Fragrances Glorious EDT: As of 03/06/19 Wore this fragrance to the office as my SOTD as of 03/06/19, I can't really pin point to where I want to put this fragrance either to like it or is a blah due to the scent DNA has been copied or used before. My nose detects the vanilla, grapefruit, star anise and chocolate even though is a bit strange the notes are well blended and works well of my skin. The tobacco and leather is non existant or is just buried underneath which I can detect but faintly. My overall rating is 7.25 out of 10, I do like the scent is attractive, but need more wearings. The design/presentation is 8 out of 10, it would be nice if the cap like those Zippo lighters would snap back and forth. Value is 9 out of 10, a cheapie/bargain. Longevity/Performance is 7 out 10, 6-8 sprays lasted on my skin as a skin scent around 6-8+ hrs. Is a cheapie but a good scent.
