Snowella

The first blast of yummy, fresh fruitiness is gone within ten minutes, and then it is barely a skin scent, for two hours at the most. It's a nice scent, so I wish I could actually smell it! I find it helps to layer with Ariana Grande Ari. It brings out the notes and helps them last a little bit, especially the peony and the mint.

I believe this is a fragrance for teen or sporty girls. It smells clean, but almost like detergent clean. I cannot even distinguish what I smell exactly. It is not a bad perfume but nothing that I will remember forever. But I believe it will be a nice girl for a young girl or for using it at the gym.

Fresh, fruity romantic and girly!! Snowella is such a clean and fun fragrance!! Right upon spraying you can definitely smell the Cranberry notes being the most prominent, I had initially mistaken it for raspberry before I had checked the notes though haha!! This is then followed by a subtle, yet hyperrealistic mint note (in a fresh natural and earthy way, not like toothpaste mint)!! They compliment each other so beautifully making such a lovely fragrance!! I found for this perfume to last around 4 hours max on me, which considering that this is a pretty old discontinued body spray, I am very pleased with!! This perfume HUGELY reminds me of Versace Bright Crystal, just less intense, which is actually rather nice!! It’s probably not a perfume I’ll wear a lot since I love gourmands, but it’s definitely an absolutely lovely, affordable scent, it’s just such a shame that it’s discontinued now!! 🥹💖

Does anyone remember the Elle MacPherson range of bodycare lotions & potions, that were sold at Boots years ago? Snow'Ella smells really similar to those... by which I mean that there's a predominant note of lime throughout it. The cranberry is the strongest listed key note on me, followed by the pink pepper. I do get the mint too, but the lime and pink pepper spoil any festive hints the cranberry and mint combo may have produced in the fragrance. Too zesty - gives everything a sporty vibe, that I think would have been better suited for a energizing spring fragrance. The longevity is poor; within two hours it's gone. Not too bad for a body mist, I suppose...

This smells to me nothing like any of the listed notes. It certainly has a 'youthful' vibe because it reminds me of my then beloved Impulse Jeunesse spray which I wore at school in the 80s (the blue one) and nothing else has ever brought that to mind/nose. An added slight vanillic undertone. I'd say there's a definite dollop of musk in here. Edit, actually, Rive Gauche has since brought Jeunesse to nose, surprised I never noticed before. I've rediscovered the bottle of Snowella (now, in Summer '23), still the same impressions, the bottle is fun and practical, I guess this was probably a limited edition?
