Кармен (Carmen)

As a child I had Carmen soap. As soon as I grew up and became ready to wear adult perfumes, many things happened, because of which Carmen was stopped being produced at all, and the desire to have products from this perfume series was forgotten for many decades. I became a perfume maniac when in the second (and last) half of my life I began to rapidly lose my eyesight and skin immunity. I was glad for all the "grandmother's" perfume notes, from red and spicy sweet cloves-carnation to strong natural Peruvian balsam, Javanese vetiver, Siam benzoin, orris root and calamus. In Carmen perfumes, of the listed, there is only calamus, although it is not listed in the pyramid. It creates an extraordinary arrangement of the modest variety of pink materials by the year of creation. The aroma was mesmerizing, and so was the design on the wrapper. Not rose jam, not aldehyde fatty soap, and not spicy-clove, but something special in between. Calamus rose, as it turned out. The cologne is more green, it even seems that this is a slightly different composition, and not the one in the perfume. By the way, it is the cologne Carmen that may seem like a perfume in the direction of the famous Spanish vintage Maja Myrurgia. Previously, in mass-produced Soviet food products (confectionery, liqueurs) you could often find calamus, but now its familiar sound can only be found in rare vintages. This is a special component.
