Purple Haze

#1362 in my "Tour de Fragrance" I don't typically bother with a popular mid-range scent like a Paco Rabanne, YSL, Azzaro, Boss or Davidoff that's rated below 3.85. But I've found over time a lot of the more niche houses suffer unfairly from doing a scent that doesn't smell like every Invictus, every Y, every Le Male, etc., and now I actively look for scents that people find similar to scents I've never heard of or at least never tried. Glad I did with this scent.19-69 has some unique stuff that is not like every other scent out there. I've already purchased four of their scents and this will be number five. I picked this one to try next out of nostalgia. It kind of fits that in 1969 I was a 15 year old guitarist playing gigs around Southern Illinois when Jimi Hendrix was at his peak, and every band playing bars, clubs, halls and teen centers, which at that time included "New Riders of the Purple Sage", "Chicago", "REO Speedwagon", "Ace", "Head East", "Chase", and everyone had "Purple Haze", "Crosstown Traffic", "Foxy" and more from Hendrix in their set list. Honestly I think I was expecting something more "Psychedelic" than this amazing spicy greenie where you pretty much have to read the notes to know there's cannabis here, since it's more the sort of hemp that grew wild in the woods of Southern Illinois after farmers spent WWII growing it to make rope for warships. That aside, this is one of the most attractive greenies I've ever encountered and I cannot stop inhaling it. It's my first scent with ravensara and palmarosa and I want more like this! Combined with strong cypress and patchouli notes this totally works for me. This is carpool, elevator, small office safe. Fine for business or pleasure. $195 for 100ml, so get a decant and try it out first, but I think you'll like it.

First impression: patch! Oh, ALOT of patch! And labdanum. But thankfully it has a bit of an airy quality (I love labdanum, but I often find it nauseating). It's herbal, green and a little strange? Why does it smell so much better from afar? It wafts up to my nose with a sort of sweetness, rounded and mellow scent. When I stick my nose to my skin it's a little pungent and raw. Fine, I own another green fragrance that does the same thing. This obviously deserves a full wear! My ex grew cannabis in his basement. I know the smell and I'm not overly fond of it. I can't really smell much of it here tbh. The vibe, yes, I get that. But I can't distinguish the cannabis note. There are other herbs in here though, I think it's the thyme that stands out. And violet leaf..my foe, you might have found a spot where you're actually contributing with something here. Maybe, I haven't decided, but time will tell if you and I can finally get along.. One hour in, and I'm already impressed. I never imagined I'd come across a fluffy patchouli

PURPLE INDEED! Hazy indeed! For once - the name reflects well what this is. Purple is the opening! The dry down leaves a gorgeous creamy cannabis and vanilla note backed up with some thyme and bodied out with balsam. Freshness is provided by some bergamot at first and cypress giving a slight - I’m in the forest kinda vibe. This is also helped by a glint of green here and there by violet leaves. The patchouli and musk are not dominant in the scent rather they are there to give a depth and give body as a compliment. To me this is full of contrasts. Sweet, fresh, powdery,’green, purple. A 1960s VW combi with candy soaked cushions and an unsmoked joint that’s fallen somewhere amongst the pillows. Don’t worry though - it’s safe to wear to work the smell is slightly unusual but most people would not register the cannabis until you mention it. Unisex. Definitely Purple. Edit : On second application the initial spray is somewhat patchouli heavy with the bergamot too though after 30 this metamorphs to the above.

You're expecting the purple haze of Woodstock, but what this one gives you is the purple haze inside a witch's cottage filled with fresh herbs recently picked and hung to dry from the ceiling. She's making potions and elixirs galore. Patchouli is certainly one of her herbs she's using, but it's an earthy patchouli that doesn't quite smell like a headshop. The other fresh green herbs that are smaller players here are thyme and ravensara. The ravensara lends an almost camphorous, eucalyptus, licorice, clove aura, but it doesn't go full medicinal. There's a smell of green broken cypress limbs as well as a hint of black pepper that's more like grass corms than the spice (possibly the gurjan balsam). Experiencing it in cold weather, I don't catch the cannabis note, but that doesn't mean it might not show up in warmer weather. This is a ridiculously addictive fragrance. It's not going to be for everyone, but if you like witchy fragrances with patchouli, herbs, and woodsy notes, it's definitely worth a try.

I love this. I adore it. I walk around with my nose buried in my arm when I wear it. Objectively (as possible) I'll say it goes on with a note that strikes me as nutty. I get a similar note in Amouage's Memoir Man. The patchouli and violet leaf then come forward, smoothed by vanilla and white musk. It's intensely green with an atmosphere that is unapologetically "hippie" but also posh and sophisticated. It's the "business hippie" from Harold and Kumar. The French manor surrealistically manifesting in the middle of the jungle in the extended Apocalypse Now. I do have to call BS on fragrances claiming "cannabis" or "hashish" notes. This isn't a knock on the fragrance, just the marketing. I've never found these notes to have any verisimilitude. And yet ... I often love fragrances with these notes. Maybe I'm just a sucker for the atmosphere the note implies? Hopefully my next full bottle, after I've smoked the rest of this sample.

If you wanted to smell like cannabis or something along the lines, this perfume won't do it. It more inspired by the plant and the idea around it. As one comment below stated how it gives a vintage vibe and I couldn't agree more. Imagine being in Woodstock and lighting up a joint on a really humid day, that's basically what I get from this perfume and I love it.It's not really woody, it's not smokey, rather it is a well blended mix of green herbal alongside some note that just reminds me of cannabis but I can't quite pinpoint it; citrus, and definitely an ozonic accord to it as well. Overall, it really is a unique smell that is definitely inspired by the Jimi Hendrix era.

Ultra green and aromatic with slight hint of incense, with a bitter, muddy, medicinal opening. If this smells like cannabis at all, it's the natural herbal plat that predates the now business driven, crystal-laden dank cannabis that you think of these days. Patchouli forward like heavy velvet drapery curtain or a very old armchair upholstery. That said, this scent is somehow airy and open (thanks to the violet leaves), doesn't sit dense on your skin so imo very wearable and unisex. I wasn't born in the 70s but this fits my imagination of the era so perfectly!

I get the potent patch and cannabis - but, moreover, this smells like an amber chypre to me. Like a chypre Grand Soir on my skin. Ambers and chypres and Grand Soir are a few of my favorite things. I haven’t seen anyone else compare it to Grand Soir? Lucky me! This is a supremely brilliant composition. So serenely earthy, woody, and green. Aromatic, herbaceous, resinous, deep, rich, nuanced, outdoorsy. Captivating. MASTERPIECE

This is one of my favorite fragrance’s period. I smell all the notes except cannabis. I know my way around some cannabis and I was expecting to be hit with some actual purple haze scent. I get the patchouli and some of the other notes but I also get play dough and I’m all about it!

dreamy, hazy, poetic. don't be surprised or scared if this attracts something from the other side. lives up to its name perfectly. spot on for visions of purple smoke and swirling figures.

I have no idea why people are saying you can’t smell the cannabis here, it is VERY noticeable. Maybe they’re expecting it to smell like smoked weed or a very pungent gasoline flavored strain? But it smells like the flower, really nails the kind of nondescript fruity-pine-earthy mix with a sharp note running through. I believe most of the listed notes are going towards replicating that smell which is maybe why some people have trouble picking it up, but it smells like a sort of faded incense surrounding fresh bud, almost like your room smelled too strongly of weed so you lit some incense to cover it up lol. The patchouli and balsam notes are also fairly present and mesh very nicely, adds a nice woodiness too, I have a feeling it’d layer quite nice with a wood scent such as Wonderwood. I weirdly don’t get any Bergamot, maybe it’s just blended into the rest and giving the “weed” smell but I can’g exactly pick up on it on it’s own. I also notice the powdery undercurrent which is I think what people are calling vintage, I’m not exactly sure what it is and it kinda throws me off when I focus on it but I actually really enjoy it and think it adds to the palette. It lasts several hours on me and remains fairly present the whole time, maybe my one complaint is that it doesn’t change that much over time, it becomes less pungent and and the floral and vanilla scents come through a bit stronger but that’s it. Overall I do like Purple Haze a lot, it’s not exactly a must buy but I enjoy it for what it is and think it’s kinda unique, for $30 for a travel spray I think it’s worth it if you wanna try a kinda fun take on a freshie but I would absolutely sample it first as I can see why some people wouldn’t like it

I will forever remain conflicted about this scent. On the one hand, this is a beautiful woody/aromatic scent. The mix of earthy greens make almost herbaceous in nature. These herbs and earthy florals blending beautifully with this woody cypress and what smells like southern cedar to form this wonderful herbaceous undergrowth. On the other hand, when I wore this around my friends, one of them exclaimed it smelled like their grandpa and now I can't get that picture out of my mind. I would agree that this is a much older scent, for those from the ages of 35/40 and up. Also, if you are hoping for a really cannabis forward scent, you might want to go somewhere else. While the smell of cannabis leaf is noticeable upon initial spray, it fades quickly to the more powerful notes like cyprus, thyme, and patchouli. Another thing, IF YOU DON'T LIKE PATCHOULI STAY AWAY. This is ULTRA patchouli in the beginning and I think that is what adds to the older feel of this scent. I appreciate it, and I personally like smelling the scent on others, but this one isn't for me and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone under 35 unless you LOVE patchouli.

I thought I was going to hate Purple Haze. I'm not a big fan of the smell of pot but if it must be used in perfume at least here it is done well. Purple Haze isn't really purple. The colors I get from this perfume are fresh green, dark green of pine trees, and brown colors of the swamp, dark brown of cattails and the light gold brown of wind swept or decaying vegetation. Purple Haze is a classic male barber shop cologne w/ a new twist. Freshly green, aromatic, very herbal w/ a dank swamp like smell going on, I assume that is from the pot. It is very outdoorsy. Purple Haze is a bit more casual than a typical barbershop fragrance. It is something to wear when on a nature trail or hanging out w/ friends in a casual setting. I think it is masculine for sure. If you enjoy herbal fragrances w/ lots of fresh woodiness and a wet dankness Purple Haze is something you should check out. I am giving this sample to my husband. It is a nice fragrance and a new twist on a classic barbershop type we have all smelled before but a good one.

Purple Haze opens with a moment of bright fruit, followed by a chewy, cookie-like earthy note; then it resolves into recognizable patchouli, of the dry, woodsy, hippie-ish variety. next, I get deep, squeaky-clean, malachite-green leafiness, exactly like a glossy monstera houseplant. Green is my happy place; while I appreciate more complex, deeper, warmer scents, there’s a “basic bitch” part of me that just wants to smell like a leaf. Purple Haze scratches that itch admirably. Maybe 15 minutes in, the dry patchouli returns, with a pleasant spicy-green crackle. This phase is a lot like patchouli essential oil, except a little cleaned up. I enjoy it. Within an hour and a half, it’s softened to a subtle, not-too-sweet vanilla with plenty of black pepper. 19-69 has a silly hippie theme, but Purple Haze isn’t really a cannabis scent, and it’s decidedly contemporary in style — sheer, minimalist, and tasteful. It’s not groundbreaking, but it’s good. Lightweight enough to be easy in summer, a good honest green patchouli.

To me, this comes across as a patchouli-based fougere; masculine with an old school vibe. This opens with an herbaceous, slightly green, earthy, and aromatic patchouli. I'm shocked that this doesn't have wormwood/artemisia/absinthe in it! It feels like artemisia is in this. Actually, I also get geranium, vetiver, and a bit of incense--none of which are notes. As it develops the patchouli thickens and I get wormwood/artemisia, incense, and slightly minty geranium. The far dry down is mostly patchouli and vetiver. I LOVE the opening and mid, however the vetiver (or woody accords) becomes a bit too much for me in the drydown, making this a "like" rather than a "love". This honestly reminds me of if you were to infuse Amouage Memoir Man with a bunch of patchouli.

The first spray smells like a warm day at a pot farm. It’s not a smoked, skunky pot smell, but instead the smell of picking the leaves before they are dried. It sort of smells like yerba mate, and kind of like pine sap. It’s a thick smell, it envelops me to an almost overwhelming extent. After a couple of hours, it is unmistakably patchouli. The dense, sweet kind like incense. I also smell violet and peppery wood. Smells very natural but might be too strong for indoor activities with other people imo. Perfectly unisex, a smell for the outdoors that lasts and projects.

Boring was the word i thought when i sprayed it on my wrist but it showed me wrong. Endlessly aromatic and bitter woods but grounded warm earthyness on it's base, with minty barbershop type of scent as it dries down. It's familiar in an unsettling way and it reminds me of a summer night on a calm beach with the mountains behind. Not groundbreaking but it is very appealing, especially for someone that doesn't like cologne but wants a perfume to wear during those hot months. I guess you can't judge a book by it's cover.

Incredibly green- is a very light and isn't very intrusive, but personally the bergamot and patchouli were the strongest, with a light pepper and thyme background. it's almost medicinal, and all I can think of is some of Lush's more organic soaps. It's not terrible by any means. It goes on powdery, and immediately dies down into a nice, light incense-y scent that still feels darker and relaxed. Wouldn't be a go to, but it certainly would fit certain occasions I feel.

I swear this smells the same as Sloth by Zoologist about 40 minutes in. I thought I initially of Bat several minutes in but the fruitiness went another direction. It's sweetness reminds me of the beeswax and herbal punch. It's only a little bit lighter. Comparing the prices this is the winner even if I like Sloth a bit more. I wish there was more of a dank and hazy pungency, because I don't get any of that.

Tested on skin. The green and violet colors comes to my mind. The start is a complex and fantastic earthy green, wet, and natural, with some sourness and astringent smell, and ended up with some smooth lipid feel. Like a garden in a country side. Spicy, green, almost acrid, packed with dry woods, a touch of citrus, and a lot of patchouli. Refreshingly outdoorsy. I have tried three fragrances from 19-69 now and I'd say that this is the best; Kasbah is like a less good Chergui (Serge Lutens) and Female Christ is a mega avoid. Overall I'm pleasantly surprised but I can't say I'm especially impressed

The differences in perception are so interesting - to me, this smells nothing like Akro Haze and a lot like a cross been Diptyque Tempo and Lutens Borneo 1834. Heavy on the patchouli in the sense that patchouli is the most prominent note, but it's not a "heavy" version of patchouli - it's dry and smooth, very calming.

Nothing woody about this. Sweet and pleasant, at first I detected citrus of some kind, I never smoked joints or cigarettes, so cannabis would not be something I relate to. It's green , more than anything else, with some vanilla added. If at wore at church maybe someone might think I'm into some illegal passtime.

There’s a surprising note of unlit cigarette which I’m actually loving. If you’re worried this is going to smell like weed, it definitely doesn’t, but it does smell kind of contraband in a weird way. This is solidly unisex imo and very woody and lovely 🤍

all these notes just to be smoke shop incense smell all the way... starts very mature and dries down to powdery unlit incense. if u have fond memories around cannabis u cant hate this profile: herbal, floral, lightly powdery, heady

Purple Haze was sampled in another attempt to change up my ordinary, go-to, everyday wardrobe fragrance. I love patchouli but only when it is well blended with florals and resins. I love oud and woods but they also must be blended. I prefer earthy, resinous, woody florals (especially well-done violet fragrances), incense-spicy fragrances with limited amber and other dark, deep, complex, bold notes. So based on all of this, Purple Haze seemed to meet the mark. Not sure why cannabis note has become so popular; however any notes I detect with Purple Haze do not conjure up my memory of being around cannabis long long ago. Undoubtedly the fragrance opens with a blast of citrus-laden greens, fir & cypress. The opening almost smells barber-shop-y to my nose. Within minutes, a delicate violet floral note emerges, along with the slightest patchouli scent. Not dirty, dark or gothic, Purple Haze begins as a very green, woody, slightly resinous floral fragrance. Mid-and base notes fail to alter this scent. Perhaps I get a small waft of vanilla, a bit of musk and some sandalwood (or wood) here and there. But by and large, Purple Haze remains light, rather hard to define and primarily a slightly ashy violet vanilla musk fragrance on my skin. As I search for unique, or defining notes, I strain to detect much beyond vanilla, musk & greens. Purple Haze is not a 60's hippie fragrance, nor is it a fresh, young woody floral. While everything begins nicely, Purple Haze disappointments because with my chemistry, this fragrance lands as a rather bland, musky-vanilla fragrance, nothing more. In the end, most of Purple Haze's luster is gone. Additionally, after the first 20 minutes or so, I have great difficulty detecting Purple Haze on my skin at all. After applying and reapplying the fragrance, I find myself frustratingly searching for ANY type of fragrance, or scent. Another reviewer described this fragrance as "muddled" and in many regards, muddled is a rather apt descriptive. Silage is minimal, longevity is poor. After a promising opening, Purple Haze sadly disappoints. This is a nice enough fragrance but nothing I would wear on a daily basis. Overall, the fragrance is just too bland and generic for my tastes.

Purple Haze tries to be *all* of the 70s, all at once. But in trying to embody everything, it ends up emotionally scattered. There's no single mood or feeling to hold onto? just a whole bunch of moods mixed into one without a clear center and a just a swirl of impressions. I get an impression of the psychedelics, the marijuana,the flower power, the disco.. It has a bright bergamot at the top making it peppy and fast, but the patchouli and hemp notes slow it down. Peppy but not peppy enough, mellow but not quite relaxed. (however, given what 19-69 has done here, if any brand could do justice to a Clockwork Orange fragrance, it’s 19-69, I'd love to see something like that.) The color combo that comes to mind is purple-orange. Thyme here is much more prominent than I expected it to be, which combined with the cypress leaf, it gives off a mint-lavender-like scent, then there's this fleeting powderiness mixed with a noticeable rockrose(labdanum) note that reminds me of ELDO's Attaquer le Soleil. It doesn’t evoke smoke or skunk at all, I believe that the "Cannabis" note here is hemp, yet not bright enough like I would hope it to smell. I get the impression that this would smell good layered on top of some Hempz lotion. I also have to say that the concept of the "hippie counterculture" really props this fragrance up since once you know the inspiration, it makes sense. Without that context, it just comes off as confusing and disjointed. Still, Purple Haze is highly evocative once you sit with it. orange-and-purple disco jumpsuits, flared pants, and paisley prints. Purple Haze also has a very similar sensual scent as Obsession by Calvin Klein, in my mind these are almost identical in the blend of musk, vanilla, greens, labdanum and spices. I do struggle a bit to comprehend who this is for except for... perhaps an esoteric boho girl with dreadlocks living in a converted school bus, surrounded by crystals and incense, and probably really wants to do your tarot? If that sounds like you, this might be for you!

Arguably one of the coolest names out there, and with a note listing of patchouli, vanilla and weed, and 20 different greens and herbs you would expect this to smell like a hippie in some kind of surreal forest clearing, only that it simply doesn't. I don't understand why there is such an obsession to replicate the smell of cannabis in the first place, but regardless this is not what the real deal smells like, at all, none of that sweet sticky mustiness, just a mixture of green notes and an off putting muddy ashtray grit in the top that thankfully leaves allowing you to forget weed is even in the picture, turning this into an unexpected halfhearted gardening scent. Uncomfortable top note aside what I get here is that freshly snapped plant stem smell, a kin to APSU Ulrich Lang, but instead of shining brightly like a green beacon it feels muddled in the base with a murky vanilla woody muskiness coming through almost like they were too afraid to either go all out gardening or hard core scruffy 60s patchouli so it just kind of feels ambivalent and frankly kind of lukewarm. Not bad, still wearable, but despite the cool name and bottle design, doesn't really inspire any interest, described in 2 words, 'muddy greens'.

You visit your beginner level yoga teacher's apartment in the historic, gentrified part of town (that his/her parents bought for them). They are trying on a hippie spiritual identity. Everything smells like clean patchouli oil they bought from an over-priced store that sells spiritual paraphernalia with the "Made in China" stickers removed. They may offer you a pre-rolled joint of "Purple Haze" (it's definitely not) they purchased for a premium from "some guy" (who definitely ripped them off). They shower twice a day (and once at the studio after their one teaching class) using very non-hippie salon products, but at least they're biodegradable?

I am getting citrus and cypress at first smell. These evaporate quickly For the most part it's violet leaf, patchouli, and cannabis, but somehow it smells better at a distance than actually smelling my wrists up close. It starts very dry, almost dusty, but that fades away in the first hour as the cannabis wanes and the violet leaf emerges. I like the violet leaf. Cannabis always smells like skunk to me but it's not bad here. Edit: Thought about it for another week... honestly I kind of like it. And mostly for the violet leaf. Probably won't buy again but it's possible.

Oddly I get a mouthwash vibe in the opening, then Purple Haze turns Swiss Chalet. The opening is fresh and green, 20 minutes later the dry down brings out the wood notes. I also pick up a soft, powdery violet leaf. After two sprays to the arm, Purple Haze is a skin scent in less than an hour. I’m getting shades of green and not purple. Not bad but also a mediocre scent; I’m not swooning. For what it’s worth, Purple Haze has a similar vibe to another from this brand, but I like Rainbow Bar better.

I was worried that the cannabis note would be overpowering, but it honestly didn't smell like weed at all, if that's something you're worried about. It smelled like an antique wood cabinet, very woody and musty. It's definitely a unique scent, but not something I'd reach for regularly. I usually love bergamot and woody notes, but I didn't like this one as much as I thought I would. It's not a safe blind buy; I'd probably only get this one if you like funky/unusual scents.

I tried to like it but it just smells like the most basic men cologne - heavy citrus opening, then a lot of wood rapidly turning sweet. I can smell cannabis for a short bit in the middle, the wet rag side of it. Generally I get the intended vibe but to me it smells more like a bunch of dudes getting high in a poorly ventilated garage on a summer day - cologne, armpits, a whiff of weed.

Testing a dab sample. First impression: nice, but I’m not losing my mind over it. Leans more masculine in my book, but woman can wear and enjoy it if she is into cypressy tea three type of scents. With the declared base notes I don’t expect it would surprise me into changing my mind and fall in love with it.

Me: I don't like it. Entirely too masculine for me, and I wouldn't enjoy smelling this on a man as it gives me a headache. I don't pick out a strong cannabis note, but I think I can detect it blended with everything else. I should note that I'm an absolute patchouli lover, but this one did not hit. Him: Ok this is interesting. Full disclosure I am writing this without having seen the notes or main accords. Initially this actually smelled kind of musky and berry-y to me, but I have a sad untrained nose, so take this with the worlds largest grain of salt. Is ok.

Smells like leaves with a fruity aroma coming from the italian bergamot and (probably) violet leaf. Meh. Not a bad smell but I wouldn't buy this

Purple Haze has always felt like more than a fragrance to me. It’s a mood, an atmosphere. And every time I wear it, it pulls me straight back to my life in Chicago between 1999 and 2001, those strange, electric years when the city was all steel, cold wind and late‐night ambition. The world felt big and open then, humming with possibility, just before everything changed. The opening hits with a rush of cypress, cannabis, ravensara and bergamot, shadowed by labdanum that wraps everything in a resinous dusk. It feels exactly like stepping out of the L at Belmont in winter; your breath fogging, your coat collar pulled high, the streets wet with melting snow and flashing under the elevated tracks. There was always a faint smell of metal and green air, a mix of cold wind, cigarette smoke from strangers and the city exhaling. Thyme, violet leaf, palmarosa, gurjan balsam unfold like the quieter corners of the Windy City at night. Not the bright bars on Rush Street, not the crowded music venues but the dim patches of the Loop after midnight where everything echoed. I remember walking home from late office deadlines, boots scraping the pavement, the lights from office towers blinking overhead like they were keeping watch. Purple Haze captures that exact feeling: urban stillness with an undercurrent of unease, like the whole city was holding its breath. The dry‐down is where the darkness settles in: patchouli, vanilla, woods, black pepper, white musk. Warm but shadowed. Familiar but distant. It reminds me of those early‐morning train rides when the sun hadn’t risen yet, just me, a few exhausted third‐shift workers and the low drone of the rails beneath us. Everything smelled of old leather seats, winter coats and the faint musk of humanity moving through a city half-asleep. There was a strange beauty to life then, before smartphones, before constant noise, before the September morning when the world broke open. It brings back that last era of innocence: a Chicago where ambition felt metallic and heavy in the air, where weekends dissolved into late nights in Wicker Park and where the skyline always looked like it was carved out of shadow. Wearing it is like stepping back into that cold wind, into a version of myself shaped by the city’s grit, its music, its darkness and the sense that life was about to change in ways we couldn’t yet understand.

At first sniff, this is reminding me of my grandmother’s house, who was not a hippie. Considering she was more of a stay at home mom raising several children during the 60s and likely taking house calls from Avon reps, I’m guessing there’s a note in this that must’ve been mainstream during her time. Smelling it on my wrist is transporting me back to childhood, playing with the cosmetics on her vanity. It’s definitely nostalgic but perhaps too old fashioned for daily wear.

Very intimate sillage but lovely, smells like a grassy clearing in a conifer forest with a far-off campfire going on somewhere between the trees. I get a bit of patchouli at the end, as well as the more resiny, earthy, sticky side of cannabis (without any skunk pong). This might be outing myself but when I was a nerdy little kid this is what I imagine the Warrior Cats universe smelled like.

My mom used to have a bottle of Shalimar when I was young, and when I went to test this the first whiff of it reminded me of that perfume. It def has a “vintage” vibe, but in my opinion, not in a good way. I didn’t get any of the supposed marijuana notes either. This perfume just doesn’t work on me, all I smell is an old lady type perfume scent.

Agreeing with other commenters on the vintage-esque note in here that’s totally throwing me off. I only tried this on paper because I really didn’t want it on my skin. I didn’t get any cannabis, this was cypress and black pepper with a vintage perfume smell to it. Not for me unfortunately

It gives Woodstock. It gives smoking weed while listening to Dark Side of the Moon. It gives head shop. But all in the best way possible. Underneath the earthiness and herbaceous notes is a sweetness that ties it all together in a little bow. I could smell it all day.

A good perfume for me to run my errands in. It's really gorgeous on initial spray, a lightly spiced wood. A little green. Compliment getter. I like to layer this with a head shop oud oil. A real shame it doesn't last all that long on my skin or clothes.

By far the most astonishing hippie perfume ever made. Wearable, easy-to-wear, tattered, yet captivating. All the elements are nicely solved within patchouli and Gurjan balsam. If Lynyrd Skynyrd were liquid, they would be in a bottle of Purple Haze .

My son just bought some. Wow this stuff is strong. Though, he wouldn't know it. This stuff smells just like 1972. That's not necessarily a a good thing. But, to each thier own

I don’t like this one at all :/ i don’t think it really smells like ~weed~ but it’s a spicy sharp green that I’m not into

I was expecting more of a realistic cannabis fragrance with this one. Unfortunately that is not what you get here.
