Waxy Spring Buds to Voluptuous Floral Magnolia Blossoms... There's a slight sting in the opening that other reviewers have also mentioned - that may read as bitter citrus but to me it's a waxy blend of freesia, jasmine & cashmeran. That settles quickly and we're into the beautiful, fluffy magnolia, with a hint of citrus in the background that's softer and sweeter now just accenting the magnolia, with a faint shampoo-soap vibe alongside. This gets better and better as it dries down, as if the waxy spring buds were unfurling into voluminous, voluptuous magnolia blossoms, becoming sweeter in the sunshine. Throughout the drydown, I catch reminders of other magnolia scents, but overall this leans more floral than golden, citrus or fruity. This has average performance for a spring-summer wearing experience with a lovely soft sillage, but could be worn year round as a softer floral - the sillage is EDT level, and the longevity is EDC level as expected but might improve with dark storage. It's a love for me. Enjoy! Update 07/30/24: Sprayed this on this morning for a side-by-side comparison with Mojave Ghost Byredo, because something about this scent reminds me of Mojave Ghost. I don't know what I was thinking, they aren't similar, and Mojave Ghost is woodier from the start while this starts out more floral, but the magnolia is done in a very similar way. Each time I try this I like it more. Update 05/07/25: Sprayed it on this morning, and wow! It's turned into a beautiful, fresh magnolia. The musky, woodiness has retreated and the magnolia has come more forward. After it starts to dry down, I can appreciate the citrus tinge of magnolia, which is still captured here but in a less aggressive way than can sometimes be the case with magnolia perfumes. Amazing. Love it.

I find it a good everyday office scent if you want to smell feminine, but not in a juvenile or overly sweet way. It’s clean, fresh, and flowery. It’s approachable without being overly obvious. Update: I’ve been experimenting with it and I only like it more! I found it to be a perfume that doesn’t perform well too close to the skin or trapped in too many layers of clothes, but it should instead be used in a very airy and light way. If I make a cloud with it and walk past it, or if I put it on my curtains and leave the window open, it is the most amazing smell ever. The fresh, first flowers of spring coming and flying around you. I first thought this would be a nice office scent, but it actually doesn’t perform so well in static environments, it needs to breathe. Now I understand why the bottle is 100 ml and so affordable, it is supposed to be used as a cloud of happiness, freshness and life. It marks really well the wake up phase from a long and dark winter into a beautiful, blooming, but still chilly spring time. I definitely recommend it! When used properly, this is divine

This opens fresh and tart, with a hint of orange sweetness which gets sweeter by the minute, there is also a light and delicate floral touch which also feels a bit soapy. It dries down sweet with a touch of orange and flowers which is nice. I love that there are no sharp or synthetic notes and that the fragrance is very soft and delicate - very feminine and cheerful! Vibe wise it is like waking up in freshly made bed next to an open window were trees are blooming, it is still a bit chilly but the morning sun is warming your cheeks.
