Crescent Beach

A gorgeous, clean laundry by the beach smell. I know it's inspired by The Hamptons, which I've never been to, but it does give me LBI vibes. Rich, clean, and owning a beach house type of vibes. Notes are simple but they are carried really well in this fragrance. The peony is clean and flirty, the lily gives me beach vibes, and then the musk and amber give it this overall aldehyde clean and sharp feeling. It's fluffy, it's clean, and it's dainty. Super inexpensive and lovely.

This is an oddly unique scent. For some reason I really enjoy. Is slightly synthetic feeling, but not in a cleaning product way😂. In a “I’m wearing cologne” feel. The musk isn’t overpoweringly feminine like most unisex musks. On me, I get fresh watery/pure soap notes. Usually with those scents, the freshness dies so quickly. This stays throughout.

Well, upon reflection, I guess I am a little perplexed by a company that uses a motto of "Clean scents inspired by nature" and then makes a perfume consisting of only synthetic fragrances with long chemical names, without even any botanical derivatives such as linalool. In smelling this, I feel like I can say pretty confidently that I have never encountered any fragrance like this in nature. The only thing that is coming to mind as similar is that when I was in grade school and someone would vomit in the hall, the chemical that was used to try to clean up the mess smelled a bit like this. Which is not a scent that I was hoping to smell again.

Incredibly synthetic smelling. Like bougie glass cleaner. Not at all what I imagined.
