Musk Tahara Yemeni

AKAF has a good selection of white musk perfumes including this one. The main difference in this one is the strong honey note. The honey note is very well done here and can be easily distinguished. It's worth sampling if you like white musk or have a sweet tooth for honey.

This was heaven! Such beautiful floral white musk with honey! I miss it, along with many of the other discontinued AKAFs I’m finally getting around to posting my reviews of.

This smells like mead (honey wine) to me. It's not boozy and has no alcohol notes, don't get me wrong! It's just softened, less sweet than smelling a jar of honey. I think I will save it as a comforting scent for autumn and winter. The longevity is about 4-6 hours, less than the other AKAF oils I've tried. Remains linear throughout.

pronounced honey note over musk and some florals. keeps reminding me of amarige (which i detest) -- in this case, though, it's actually kinda nice, particularly in the dry-down on the skin (a bit raunchy.) in all, while this is not for me, if the idea of a sweet, creamy, musky, fluffy amarige appeals to you, this is your perfume.

You know those dryer sheets? Or those scent diffusers that are labeled "fresh linen" scent? This is that scent. But not in a harsh chemical, synthetic way. It's a very soft floral, cottony musk with a honey overtone. It's actually quite well done and suits the skin well. It just smells like fresh laundry. And if that's your sort of thing, or if you want something that will blend seamlessly into the scent of your clean clothes, this is perfect. It's quite ingenious if you think about it. Not masculine, not feminine...just "clean." Suitable for any occasion and inoffensive.
