Authentic Moment Man

I love Authentic Moment. I have to admit this was an impulse purchase, so when I first wore it after buying I thought I made a huge mistake because of how annoying I thought the scent became. I stopped using it for a while and tried it again on a random day, then it was just so comforting and fresh. On first spray the citrus and spice comes through before settling into light creamy amber. It stays that way for me throughout the day if I spray on my clothes. If I spray on my skin, it retains that creamy amber then on drydown the sandalwood rises to the top, the smokiness is just so delightful. I really enjoy sniffing my wrists throughout a school day just to smell the change and performance. I think the cypress makes this scent slightly more mature than other vanilla based scents for men, the vanilla is not cloying either which I really appreciate (overuse of sickly sweet vanilla could have really cheapened it). It smells surprisingly sophisticated for its selling price, the perfect scent for a mysterious soft stranger. Downsides are the spray/atomiser is a bit annoying to use so make sure to press down all the way or spray more than you think you need ^^

Realmente una muy grata sorpresa, me compré esta fragancia solo porque estaba en oferta y me gustó su presentación, en cuanto a la botella me encanta!, el color del producto es verde musgo lo que combina muy bien con el ciprés que impregna la salida del aroma, una vez secado solo parece mejorar para dar paso a un aroma almizclado - atalcado, donde la madera y un poco menos la vainilla juegan un rol sinérgico, proyecta prudentemente lo que lo hace usable e íntimo, como dicen los comentarios es una fragancia de jefe, la longevidad es de 4 a 5 horas en piel, en ropa un poco mas, por el precio está bien Si esta casa sigue con estos aromas tendrán un lugar asegurado en casas comerciales. Espectacular para regalo a un hombre de 25-35 años que le guste lo amaderado. Compra recomendada! Lo único malo es el atomizador, a 30 cm de distancia el diámetro no supera los 10 cm, por lo que se requieren el doble de atomizaciones que un perfume con un atomizador decente.

It's about time Fragrantica added this scent. It's an absolute peach of a fragrance and easily my favourite buy of 2022. A delightful Autumn/Winter/night time scent, spicy and sweet yet woody and cinnamony, it fits in that earthy/sweet bracket that Oud Wood and Spicebomb dominate. Cheap as chips too (for now.) I was flabbergasted how good this is after never being impressed with an A&F scent before, but it was on sale and a brand new release so I took a gamble and I'm really glad I did. I wore it all over Christmas as it just has that warming, comforting scent to it and it lasts all day long. I'm usually wrong, but I can see this getting some real hype if it gets discontinued quickly, I think people are really missing a gem here. Don't be put off by the original Aventus clone of which this is a flanker, this is absolutely nothing like it at all.

OK, this shit is amazing. Great rack store find. Honestly punches way above its class. Priced right $20 for 1.7oz. Opens up with a nice fruity/ apple scent with the cinnamon spiciness and cypress. This could be bottled by any other company that charges more and people would love it and it would catch a serious hype train. One of the better blind buys. Honestly though all of the Abercrombie and Fitch scents are really good. People need to stop sleeping on the cheapies. Recommended.

Fantastic fragrance that leans unisex! Got a lot of compliments and has great sillage. Suited more for colder weather, date night, maybe even more formal events. Initial scent is heavily synthetic but after a minute, it becomes so incredibly luxurious and leaves the impression of it being more expensive then it actually is. Great pick up for a signature scent!

Nose Note #447 YES!!! FREAKING YES!!! I found another really affordable and super close clone to one of my all-time favourite scents - Boss Bottled. This is it. I take my hat off. This and Kenneth Cole Mankind Hero. What a gem. Lasts of par with OG (average performance). 10/10, I'm simple like that

The homey Authentic, with its light brown hue, Moment can only evoke a comforting idea, like family, home, and the old-fashioned, and in a way, that's what it tries to emulate. It's a perfume with a familiar opening, the apple/cinnamon combination of Hugo Boss Bottled, the classic 90s fragrance from the German brand. You could say it's an obvious dupe of the early editions. I consider it a good dupe of Bottled, since, in my opinion, the reformulations of Bottled have diluted its power, and Moment precisely recaptures that essence. The perfume bursts forth with apple, a juicy yet synthetic apple, closely followed by cinnamon, which emerges like a boomerang, swirling and compacting in the air. After an hour dominated by the opening, the perfume evolves to its base: the same woody note, a sandalwood-vanilla blend, with a secondary amberwood note that lends the perfume a slightly aged sweetness, creating the effect of a sweet treat encapsulated within the wood. Without top notes, Moment is a classic apple and cinnamon scent, very common in room sprays, which then transforms into a small nightstand box where our grandmothers jealously guarded their sweets, sweet and slightly powdery. In short, we have a wooden box lined with sweet vanilla that, when opened, emanates that apple-cinnamon combination currently so prevalent in scented candles. It's the longest-lasting in the collection; properly atomized, it can last 8 hours. It has significant projection for the first 2 hours, after which it becomes a skin scent. It's now a casual fragrance, suitable for cold mornings and the office. It's a classic scent that any man of any age can easily wear. For me, it's a 2/4. It's certainly not the most daring perfume; it's safe, and it could become quite common due to the phenomenon that Bottled represents. Another point to note is the lack of subtlety between its phases. The neroli it lists is nonexistent; the perfume jumps from cinnamon to sandalwood instantly, demonstrating weaknesses in the composition. I do appreciate its good resemblance to Bottled and its performance, which is clearly the most robust of the Authentic fragrances. For the price, it's a decent perfume, but unfortunately, it imitates something that is already widespread and very well-known. Even so, at a good price, it remains an option.

It's not overly sweet, which I don't mean as a negative (it could be a disappointment to those who enjoy sweetness in their fragrances), even if it could be just a bit stronger than what it currently is. That makes this a great casual wear in my opinion. It's a very soft scent. Good longevity and it's very nice for daytime use, and I see myself wearing this during Spring and Fall. The only negative I currently have is that the atomizer could be better. Overall, the fragrance is not bad at all!

I love the types of fragrances like Bottled or Driven. I chose to try this one because of this page, as it was correctly marked as very similar. Is it similar ? Yes scent is so great, but longevity is very poor, just like some newer CK Eternity flankers (Air or Flame..). Scent: 8,5/10 Longevity: 2/10 Longevity fabric: 3/10 Projection: 2/10 It's a shame, if this juice had any performance, maybe I would have found exactly what I imagine a great cologne to be, still for reasonable price.

Love at first sniff. Only negative aspect with this is that it isn’t completely groundbreaking. Familiar. A refined artwork. Strong projection and great performance for a fresher type fragrance. Edit: Returning to this, it is still top notch but sweeter than my memory. Still a gorgeous one.

Smells like slightly dirtier version of Boss Bottled, its the Cypress and Neroli. Boss Bottled DNA is unmistakable here from start to finish. Its a flanker.

Apple pie with the warmth of the fireplace and the burning wood. Soft, warm and woody vanilla scent. Scent: 7/10 Longevity: 6/10 Projection: 6/10

I tested this fragrance today and I am a little disappointed. In the store it smelled interesting but after a while on my wrist it became really annoying. I know an aftershave that smells exactly the same. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend it.

Soft, simple and some complexity to it. I love the magnetic cap on the bottle. Very low projection. I prefer colognes that only take couple sprays, not multiple. More a soft intimacy cologne. Can be unisex. Wood smell, synthetic, powdery, soft/warm spicy and dry. Very nice fragrance, low projection and safe in crowds. Updated: 1yr later. Macerates very poorly. Ended up tossing it out, GF disliked and asked me to wash it off. - Longevity Skin: 4-6 hrs - Longevity Fabrics: 12 - Projection: Intimate to Inches - Projection Dry Down: Intimate - Smell: Woody, Spicy, Citrus - Dry Down: Less synth. - Girlfriend Approved: ... it’s Ok...then yr later, hated it. - Get compliments: Not yet. - Maceration: Negative Noticeable. - Bottle & Atomizer: Love the Magnetic Cap and no issues. - Would I buy again: No.

I bought it today, it is light green, everywhere in the pictures there is a different color, is it supposed to be like that?
