Fierce Blue

It’s extremely hard to find this fragrance nowadays... and it’s always sad to see one of your favorites slowly disappear, almost ceasing to exist. What makes it even more frustrating is the current pricing - it’s quite high, and not even paired with the original, better bottle design, like it was in the old, good days.

I smelled this in an A&F store yesterday.... well, it sure smells great. Fresh, aquatic musky fragrance with the well known Fierce lavender vibe. I think it’s overpriced, that’s for sure. To me, I think this is a $35-40 fragrance, not $58! If I ever find a good deal on it, I’ll go for it.

They really should bring back this beautiful fragrance. 10/10 !

My least favorite of all the fierce line and clones.

I very much agree with lovethatsmellalot, just wanted to add: Not like Fierce at all, yet does smell reminiscent of Bvlgari Aqva Marine with a toned-down minty-herbal coolness and a toned-up musk and subtle melon. Overall, a slightly darker take on Aqva Marine. Smells generically-“marine” with synthetic seaweed-y saltiness. Seems to be discontinued as it’s not even listed on A&F’s website nowadays along with Oud Amour. If so, it makes sense as Fierce Blue is definitely one of their less remarkable scents. Strangely, to my nose it’s one of those scents that doesn’t particularly impress when I go to smell it, but as soon as I stop I get the urge to smell it again. It’s addictively-generic. 😆

Typical aquatic essence mixed with lavender. Amberous. Gets a little spicy 🌶️ and gnarly toward dry-down. It’s just okay, maybe even good.

I dont want to say its bad but its definitely not good. Stick to the original or confidence.

I was hoping for that classic A&F Fierce smell you got when walking into their stores back in the day, but with a blue like twist, but got nothing similar at all. Its a very synthetic/cheap smelling flanker. Definitely reminiscent of the boys locker room back in junior high.

Surprised to see there's no reviews on this fragrance, yet alone the new 2019 version that SHOULD be on Fragrantica, as unlike here it is shown with a clear bottle with the text labeled in blue. The next paragraph is for the bottle: "Abercrombie & Fitch Fierce Blue Cologne". Long story short, for the 2019 version, it smells really good to my initial smell off a scent strip. The Aquatic presence mixed with musk silently makes something I definitely would try on again, and if lasts right, buy a bottle of. It comes as an EDC concentration, and 1.7oz (or 50ml). IMO, it's the best scent A&F is offering for men at this time. Undoubtedly better than what OG Fierce is now.

This is a review for the 2019 version. This smells like the seaside or coast to me, with a seaweed/melon type sweetness in the background, but not so much fruit to put it in the territory of Nautica Voyage or Tommy Bahama for Men. Clean, fresh, and almost beachy, but I generally think of sunscreen/coconutty woody scents as being beachy, and this is not that. The lack of tropical notes lends it some versatility, and it even works in cooler weather for me. It is very easy to wear, without anything off-putting. Not a beast mode fragrance, but I applied it over 7 hours ago and it still is still going. It does not have much in common with OG Fierce.
