Adidas Get Ready! For Him

A beautiful grapefruit cologne with good silage and amazing longevity (for a cheapie!). I’m always amazed at the bang-for-the-buck provided by Adidas, and I think this is their finest release. You will get compliments if you wear this, and it’s not just for the gym bag. This is an excellent office or everyday fragrance.

I totally understand the effect on Master Perfumer in this line because i have many adidas bottles. This one have that all characteristics from famous kind fresh perfumes.

Picked up the aftershave in the spirit of the world cup. There's something in the opening splash--for a brief moment--that smells like freshly squeezed orange juice. Fruity, fresh, sunny and fun, this is a nice scent for lazy days when you think you're gonna play football..or maybe just watch someone else do so. Funny enough, I've gotten more compliments from this recently than just about anything else. That being said, there's something in the drydown that is quite strange, almost like a butane/gasoline scent. It is light, but kind of distracting. As far as Adidas sport scents go, this is ok. Not something I'd rebuy, but as a themed release (just in time for Brazil 2014), it is fun. NB: the same nose that made A*Men (original, Coffee, Havane) and B*Men made this?!? Interesting... 2.5/5

The scent in a moment...First, gym scents. For the love of all things right in the world DO NOT wear fragrance to the gym! I see here for the reviews it has been said to wear this fragrance post gym, that is totally cool. Get Ready should perhaps be called Get Done, perfect for post work out freshness and any quick stops after the gym. Really this is a citrus fresh opening with a woody dry down. It will be a noticeable skin scent 1/2 an hour after application. You can go heavy if you like (it is really inexpensive) and it smells just fine. Is it generic, yes for sure. Is it long lasting? No, but that means you can apply something better later. Nice and clean on a budget, that won’t offend, even if you did wear it to the gym, but seriously don’t.😁

Starts out with a generic scratchy sport freshness similar to Adidas Moves and other Adidas scents. Mellows out to a smoother fruity lightness similar to Pure Malt. Not EXACTLY Pure Malt, but a light non-boozy essence. This lasts about 60-90 minutes. Dries down to a slightly sweet lavender and sandalwood. Lasts 3 hours total. Summery sport, skin scent. Nice for $12, I prefer it over Adidas Moves. Pure Malt fruit meets cheap Adidas. Save your money, for a higher quality scent.

This is a very musky orange vibe. In terms of "flavor", it is very different CK One, but the character impact smell (the background that adds the velvety quality) there is a definite resemblance. It's like CK One background but smelling like orange instead of lemon, and just a tad bit more in the "sweat/salty" side of musk.

I spot the sea notes, so it's a bit salty. There is some Pineapple, but none of the mandarin. It dries down into patchouli and woody smell. It has weak performance, but for the price you can just respray it all over again without any hesitance. This is a dumb reach for gym or other activity.

It's a short lasting fragrance as usual with Adidas but it smells great, I love smelling it on my husband, he only wears it when he gets out of the shower or to run errands/work when he wants to smell clean and fresh. Fruit and citrus, marine, lavender and cedar notes stand out.

Fresh and citrusy fragrance on the line of CK All or Versace pour Homme. Very good gym fragrance and good performance for the price. Reading comments I wonder what the people expects for $6. Worthy the money.

a little bit confusing, generic

I don't ever seek out "masculine" or even sporty-type fragrances, but this one was really interesting to me. I've had it for a while and it's really nice! It's good for quick errands in the Summer or after a workout. The oceanic and fruity notes were what drew me in, and I'm glad to say that I got both of those the most! It isn't too sweet, it's definitely geared toward men, but I would call it unisex. The fruits aren't super sweet, but they do sweeten the fragrance overall, contrasting with the noticeable lavender and clary sage. I do not really detect any of the base notes, probably because the scent is simple and not complex (which isn't an issue for me). It's a good summertime scent to keep around if you need something quick to spray on. Of course, don't expect it to last a long time, but for me it doesn't dissipate immediately either. I personally wouldn't get it again, but it was worth trying; definitely out of my comfort zone.

In the 2010s, I was surrounded by people who used perfumes like Adidas, Hermes, and Acqua di gio, there weren't many designers or niches that came up so I had very little knowledge about perfume. at that time, I finally tried to buy this at the supermarket, and yes, it's just a nice scent, nothing unique, the first time you spray it you will immediately get a fruity scent that is immediately hit, very fresh, and I think many people will like this fragrance. on the skin, in hot weather, this can last 3-4 hours, on clothes 7 hours, the projection is good in the first 15 minutes, the sillage is the same. for about 10 dollars, this is a good perfume. with that I think it deserves an 8.5/10.

One of my favorite fragrances ever. If you took the scent, gave it better sillage and longevity than honestly it would be a 9/10

This perfume is bad. Period. The scent isn't disgusting, but it smells generic and cheap, has bad silage, and is extremely short lived. A short summary of why its so bad: 1. Smell - Far from pleasing. Its generic, synthetic and doesn't develop at all - too linear. In fact, the only reason you'd apply it is to cover up a bad scent, as this one isn't pleasing in of itself at all. Its something you'd apply vigorously after a sweaty workout just so that people don't faint around you before you take a shower. Its also practical as a car freshener. I've used most of it in order to cover up the smell of my laundry. I rarely apply to self. 2. Longevity - nonexistent. This stuff literally only lasts about 30 minutes or a little more if you bath yourself in it. And its not just my skin, I wear other expensive perfumes that last hours on one or two sprays. If you're lucky you might be able to smell some sort of strange faded version of this sent on your cloths after an hour. But I guess that's okay because you won't want this scent lasting for a long time I promise you! 3. Silage - Same as with the longevity - nonexistent. If you apply a ton of this stuff (10+ sprays) then maybe it will have moderate silage, but that will only last 15 minutes or less. Conclusion: There's a reason this stuff is so cheap ($7-8). It smells poorly and lasts short even after 10+ sprays. It is not worth the money at all - better buy yourself a lunch or a box of chocolates for someone. I recommend you avoid it and I highly disagree with the other overly positive reviews. adidas should avoid making more fragrances. I give it a 3 out of 10.

It's basically Acqua di Gio without the musky dated notes... yet more linear, cheap-artificial smelling, and less interesting. Which is funny considering ADG is completely played out yet comforting in a nostalgic way: "Awwwww. It's the way dad smells". Stick with ADG for the nostalgic kicks. Otherwise, no real reason for this to exist. Not worth wearing even if cheap. Grade: D+ Quick take: Acqua di Adidas

Suprisingly nice opening, although gets increasingly worse over time, the atomiser is possibly the worst I’ve ever seen while also looking incredibly tacky; you’re better off getting a real budget designer fragrance -like cool water- rather than this, trust me. I’m unsure whether this was the same for everyone else’s bottle, but mine was satisfactory at best, even when I got it at 11.

Nothing new! Smells like some older Adidas fragrance but cannot put my finger on it. May be the Blue Challenge flanker. Or one of the Axe(Lynx) deos. Nothing special just an after shower scent to get you through a day at home. Skin scent after the first 30 mins. Dries down to a rather unisex lotion like smell leaning toward the feminine side.

Jacques Huclier, a senior perfumer made this piece of crap? Shit doesn't even last 10 minutes! Jesus this is such a waste of money. I don't even know what this smells like, but generally I can imagine something like a deodorant or fabric conditioner mixed with some kind of old powdery musk. It's not sweet or fruity like the notes suggest! Top note is super sour. Dry down smells like Deo. It also has that typical Adidas line synthetic scent. Don't buy this! Save that $10!
