Does anyone know of a higher quality and longer lasting version of this scent profile? I have a collection of 200+ fragrances both designer and niche, and I still find myself reaching for this one on a regular basis. I just love this stuff. There's a definite nostalgia factor going on for me but just going by the scent alone I think Adidas Moves still holds its own against the latest and greatest big blue scents even in today’s world. I just wish it lasted longer because with the current formulation it's pretty much gone after 2 hours.. I know LV Meteore is like an upgraded and luxury take on Azzaro Chrome (another old favorite of mine), so is there anything out there that's similar for this one? I see this getting compared to Nautica Voyage here but honestly they don't really smell alike, even though they're in the same fresh and clean category. In any case I will always have a bottle of this in my collection, whether it's kept on the fragrance shelf or in the bathroom.

I just got a bottle of this in for nostalgia sake. This was the first fragrance I ever remember smelling, raiding my cousin's dresser to find this and catch a whiff. I was intoxicated! This was also the first fragrance I can remember owning as a young guy in his early teens. After just getting it back in a few days ago, I was transported right back to that time. I don't really love the opening, it sort of reminds me of a Windex cleaner. After that initial blast, it dries down into a synthetic shower gel scent with aquatic undertones and green notes. I definitely get the mint, apple, tomato leaf and lavender in here, but the other florals and sweet fruity notes take a back seat. Either way, despite some of the hate behind this frag for some, I still love it. It's fresh, clean, inviting & nostalgic. And cheap! Best kind of cheapie for the young crowd.

When one recalls his first love in colognes, it's with either fond nostalgia or just outright regret. I'm happy to say that with Moves, the original Adidas men's fragrance, it's not quite the latter. But the price of a 1.5 oz. of Moves--at exclusively Walmart, of all places--is hardly worth it, these days. While the clean, soapy, masculine scent, with strong citrus and lighter tropical floral notes has become somewhat of a nostalgic alternative to Nautica Life, the fact remains that the overall longevity of these "sporty" scents is depressingly short. If you like strong, sexy citrus notes, stick with colognes actually worth the purchase price, like Azarro Chrome, Jean Paul Gaultier Classique or Giorgio Armani's Aqua di Gio. As for Moves, you can give it to the high school basketball team, where it belongs.

Super fresh and clean scent in the vein of Nautica Voyage. Hard to compare to anything directly, but it has a soapy clean vibe, a little green, and a little musky (reasonable quality, inoffensive musk). I think this is shockingly appealing for its price as a dumb reach clean fragrance. I just bought two 75ml bottles at walmart for about 9 bucks a piece. Maybe it's partially the nostalgia factor, because I used to wear this stuff literally 25 years or so ago, but I see myself wearing it in the office this week. It's truly a sweet spot scent for cleanness, being ultra inoffensive, and not being ridiculously played out since it's so old that no one thinks about it. So cheap that if you're in the market for something like that, why not give it a try?

This was in every dudes locker in high school in 1999/2000 including mine. The 1999-2008 formula was so dense and good! The combination of the unique Tomato Leaf with the Green Apple, Oakmoss, Cedar & Musk was a lot like A&F Fierce 3-4 years before Fierce Cologne even came out! Even tho it is watered down to piss now like everything else that was once sacred back in the day, i still always make sure to have a bottle in my collection and wear it or smell the bottle for the nostalgia from time to time. I have a lot of incredible memories i cherish wearing Adidas Moves For Men in my Teens to young Adult!

I have kept a boottle of this since the late 90s...in fact, I do beleive that my girlfriend is going to get me a new bottle for Christmas this year, so I am looking forward to adding the new one to my collection. I will always enjoy this fragrance, no matter how many people attempt to talk trash about it on here. Fresh, clean, cool, and brings with it a great sense of nostalgia. One cannot go wrong with this cologne.

If a man walks by me wearing this, I will always have some not so innocent thoughts because this is like an aphrodisiac for me. I know it's silly because it's just a cheap fragrance from the drugstore, but I just cannot help but be put under its spell. This fragrance is clean and bright with a very cooling effect in the heat. I cannot stress enough how much I love it when a man wears this.

The adventure starts somewhere. I had received this sent back in the day over 10 years ago. When I wore it as a child I thought this is as good as it gets little did I know I would be where I am today. Now when I get a whiff of it it smells of nostalgia and a time period when I had nothing to worry about. This is a great scent to get a elementary aged child. This is a great beginning.

This is one of my favorite scents of all time. It's just fresh! It only lasts 2 hours on me, but hey, to me it's just for the gym. I use to wear this in middle school, and it's surprisingly still one of my favorite scents ever. I love the scent so much that I bought it JUST to use as room freshener.

Adidas Moves is one of the first fragrances I got into when I was in high school. It's still one of the best sport fragrances with a great fresh smell for warm weather with a nice touch of musk and depth. It's still in my top 10 of all time and I love wearing this to the gym. I give this a 9.4/10

Only reason you'd own this today is if you wore this as a child and want it strictly for nostalgia purposes and it doesn't smell bad it smells really good actually but performance is as bad as it was when I was a kid lol but I enjoy those 15 mins of projection and longevity lol

I really enjoy this fragrance. In my opinion it reminds me of Azzaro Chrome, Burberry Touch and Curve Chill. To me the most dominant note is mint. I get around four hours from it and the projection is more intimate. I like to use it on weekend mornings.

Brings back so many great memories! I believe it’s the tomato leaf in this that makes it so nice. It’s been out for a long time but you can’t say that this is bad smelling. Easy pickup for a young fella.

They guy who says that this is a good Azzaro chrome has a broken nose because it smells nothing like it

I remember getting this as a gift and thought it was going to be forgetful but after wearing this a few times I grew to really like this more than certain $50 to $100+ spicy blue fragrances (from discounters). This is a good every day scent that's somewhat unique. The only thing close to "challenging" about this is getting the cap off. Bad jokes aside. The only complaint is that the longevity is just about nonexistent, after two hours, even if you put 10-15 sprays on. However, this doesn't have a high price point like a Roja Dove, Xerjoff or Clive Christian scent will demand so who cares. it's fresh from all the citrus and mint. it's spicy, the pineapple makes sense now that I look at the notes of this. It's certainly in that blue body spray / body wash type scent profile when you first put it on. This was clearly designed for people to wear after the gym, in the classroom, or for a job interview, there's nothing to dislike about it. scent wise at the price this goes for. Why I find this so unique is the use of tomato leaf, this doesn't smell like a pasta dish, no, it gives it depth, this complex greenness that can be a bit spicy. The best thing I would suggest if you're new to fragrances is to go to the grocery store and smell the vine some tomatoes are sold on as silly as it sounds. After wearing this for an hour. Sprayed heavily of course. Due to the jasmine and lily of the valley, which surprises me that there's white florals in this, I get the dry down of something very similar to Issey Miyake - L'Eau D'Issey (EDT), is it the same? Not exactly but someone may spot some similarities as both perfumes have a massive list of "notes". Here's three to try instead. 1) - Coach For Men (2017) - the perfumers were trying to do roughly the same thing. Coach performs better, 5 hours give or take with an average amount of sprays. If you can't get it under $40-50, skip it. 2) - Afnan - Modest Une - This is one of many Dior Sauvage copies on the market. If you've never tried sauvage, imagine if Axe Phoenix body spray actually lasted the entire day. 3) - Armaf - Iconic - this is a copy of Bleu De Chanel. - this one is for people newer to wearing cologne. it's like they tried to make the most likable blue fragrance on the planet. I find iconic extremely boring some days some days but stuff like that gets you the most complements.

So after visiting this years later I still really enjoy this stuff even after experiencing the scents of many niche and higher level designers This scent is exactly as I remember ! It opens up with a sharp but fresh, but also bitter opening that's quite musky as well. The tomato leaf in this is very noticeable in the beginning giving this a slightly off putting note but after about 15 minutes the sharpness and bitterness starts to fade and this starts to become more green,smooth and almost minty. The drydown is pretty much the same as the heart but in the drydown the sharpness completely fades and your left with a fresh, green apple scent that's very sporty. (The drydown is my favorite part of this fragrance) Performance on this for me is slightly above average. It lasts on me 4-6 hours but projects very well for the first 2 hours and projects off the skin about a foot for the duration of the fragrance. Overall rating --- 8 out of 10 ! A really great scent and a classic for the late 90s but still a great scent still to this day

Another Adidas fragrance filled with nostalgia. It's cheap, it's basic, and its performance is terrible, but I'll be damned if Moves doesn't bring back a lot of great (and some not-so-great!) memories. By today's standards, this is an incredibly average fragrance, though I don't find it any more or less synthetic-smelling than most contemporary staples. It's fresh in an aromatic way, with lots of fruity notes but none of them standing out from one another. Tomato leaf seems to be the star player here. Put simply: This is what a high schooler in the early 2000s would wear -- but only if his parents didn't want to shell out for a bottle of Acqua di Gio! It's one of the first fragrances that comes to mind as a "shower gel" type, and I still reach for my mini bottle when I'm just chilling and don't want to wear anything else. I doubt I'm going to restock on it when I run out, though.

Out of nowhere I wanted to time travel again, got a vintage bottle and went back to 2000, 6th grade PE class, post-football game locker room. It probably smells very similar in current bottles too, as the ingredients don't strike me for those which are restricted or banned since then. Knowing what I know now, this smells like Calvin Klein - Crave mixed into Liz Claiborne - Curve, hence A&F - Fierce with a dash of Cool Water. All of which are lavender/Dihydromyrcenol bombs, the star ingredient of the time. Though with Crave connection I need to mention the additional birch leaf ingredient, also the signature top note profile of Calvin Klein - Escape for men. p.s. Jaguar has a scent called Classic Motion, that smells quite like it, and in proper EdT application. This is still a good refreshing scent today, biased with nostalgia of course.

I been wearing Adidas Moves for the last several days in a row. Got a whiff of it on my dresser and forgot how much I've enjoyed wearing it in the past. Just a happy, youthful fresh scent that lifts your spirits. Nothing expensive or too complicated, although on some days I get a slight moth ballish vibe (probably the tomato leaf) that kind of keeps this light blue juice a little strange, but honestly, this one has a defining character that keeps me coming back for more. It's been nothing but a pleasue owning this, and I feel I've gotten more than my money's worth. I'd choose this over Aqua Di Geo. I really need to seek out the body wash on Ebay.

This cologne is the smell of my youth ! It was the go to scent of EVERY guy back in high school and I remember personally loving this scent but on my skin there was some note in there making this really bitter and unappealing but my brother and best friend rocked this in high school and it smelled amazing on them. I must admit I was jealous...lol I ordered this off eBay for $5 including shipping so I'm very curious to see how this smells after not smelling it in years :) I also remember liking the women's version of adidas moves as well as my x-gf wore it back in the day

A deeply nostalgic fragrance. I still wear it to the gym. It’s pretty complex for a cheap blue freshie, as it has warm notes in there that balance out the light and fresh hair gel notes that are so prevalent in it. Performance is so-so and has low longevity. It smells amazing as your skin warms it up during exercise. It’s slightly synthetic yet also spicy and sweet, just as it should be. I recommend for men who don’t want to break the bank for an exercise fragrance

Fresh, clean, soapy, shaving cream scent with a slight sweetness that makes this fragrance fun to wear. Does not project or last past a couple of hours, but the price point makes it great for the gym or quick errands; I leave a small bottle next to my door. I blind bought this as a cheapy every day spray, but prefer it over some more expensive fragrances I have because of how versatile it is. Big money saver for younger or frugal fragrance enjoyers.

This was my go-to scent for so long. I got my first bottle in middle school. I'm pretty sure this was my first fragrance. It got me many compliments back in the day. I'm not real sure what it even smells like anymore but I do know it smelled clean, fresh, and a little bit sour. I only know this because that scent profile is pretty much all I would wear back then.

Time machine. Takes me back to high school. I still like it now. Doesn't last long though, but great for the price. I have a small bottle in my locker at work. Didn't know tomato leaf was part of this back in the day. I can really smell it now though. Overall 7/10 Loses points for longevity. Gains points for price and versatility.

I remember this was one of my first frags, middle schools days lol. I remembered I sprayed so much I had a headache and was turn off cologne for a while. This was a very basic fresh shower gel scent. An overall C- in all categories. This is basically the tutorial level for the world of scents.

I wore this one in high school, was in love with it and everybody was using it at the time. Then Curve came in and killed Moves. It is absolutely fresh, but does not project or last any longer than a blink. It was a fragrance for personal enjoyment. Brings back memories.

Sometimes you don't need a steak, a cheeseburger will do fine. This is one of those respectably "is what it is" fragrances. You can* pay a lot more for something worse or at least not as innocuously wearable. *if you've been at this awhile, you probably already have

A typical shower gel cologne, very "blue", ultra gelatinous. No particular note sticks out, it just smells like gel. Not the absolute best in that category, but it's an outstanding value. At this price it would be hard to pass up.

It's okay. Smells nauseatingly adolescent, but it isn't a bad smell. Got it as a gift. I wear it around the house.

Great beginner fragrance. Smells good but longevity isn't there. For the price though, you can overspray.

I still think Moves is the best frag Adidas has made. If you're looking to try an Adidas frag, for whatever reason, and just cannot decide. Try this one. A classic cheapie. It's a pretty inoffensive gym scent. Doesn't project much at all and doesn't take long before turning into a subtle skin scent. You might get a little over an hour out of a modest amount of sprays. Personally, I wouldn't pay any higher than $10 for a 3.4 oz bottle. However, if you can find Adidas frags at a discounter for less than that, there's really no harm in picking it up as a safe gym bag/car frag. I recently picked a new bottle up for $7 from Ross. Seems like it's maybe been reformulated, but it's still pretty good as a cheapie bag frag. Maybe just needs some time to age out. As a teen, I always used it more as an air freshener than I did on my skin. I have memories of spraying this stuff on my chair before a session of Halo with the lads. Occasionally a few sprays to the pulse points before going out to skateboard. Adidas Moves was my first fragrance (given to me by my older brother.) Will always be a nostalgic frag for me. One I'll always have a bottle of. Also, the only reason I've bothered to collect other Adidas frags. Nowadays, it vaguely reminds me of Polo Blue... but in a very cheap and extra synthetic-y type of way. Still better than spraying yourself down with Axe or Old Spice, but for the price/category, I'll always recommend Nautica Voyage ahead of Adidas Moves. 7/10

Not gunna lie this smells like a cholo that just got released from prison and is on a first date, in the best way possible. It's a clean crisp scent reminiscent of nautica voyage with a more manly vibe. If you grew up in the 2000s this is what every guy smelled like and if it wasn't this it was curve. This is honestly the perfect gym/summer dumb reach fragrance.It's very synthetic somewhat cloying but it's still a solid 8/10 Kinda getting over the tomato leaf note wish it wasn't there

I'm pretty sure this was the first bottle of fragrance I ever purchased on my own accord in middle school. For whatever reason, in my area growing up, this was the go-to frag amongst teenage boys. Nostalgia for me, haven't smelled it in years, but grew out of it by the end of high school and I think that speaks to what this juice is about. It's for millennial teenagers and smells like it. Teens today have better options and the people who grew up with it have hopefully moved on.

Honestly a weird minty apple tomato leaf scent that dries into lavender musk and lasts like 1 hour and then a skin scent for 1 hour, for 8 bucks you can’t really throw too much shade on it but it’s not the worst thing in the world to own if your starting out,

This reminds me of my dad's cologne or even my grandpa's. It gives you a "clean" type-of-scent. This is mass pleasing but yeah, just that. Nothing special.

Pretty fresh and a bit spicy as well. I think it's ok because of the lower quality and the fact that there are many, many better options out there.

This may very well have been the inspiration for A&F Fierce. The base/dry down is extremely similar...

Scent is nice. Suitable for young boys only. Its not a performer. Casual wear might be suggested.

Adidas Moves, is a scent I got over Christmas time. I didn't have it in high school since fragrance wasn't big in our house. My mother didn't get much, my father only wears Old Spice and my brother was limited. I stuck to Axe and Old Spice bodysprays so I missed Adidas Moves. Maybe that was my mistake. The three things I think of when I smell Adidas Moves is sporty, summer and tomato soup. I don't think anyone has ever said "You know what I want, a fragrance that smells like tomato soup." That's what Adidas Moves smells like to me. The tomato leaf mixed with greens (mint) and spices (pepper and ginger) gives me the feel of a tomato soup. The scent is sporty and it performs that way. The summer comes from some citrus that pop in with the tomato soup smell. Adidas Moves is a scent that has performance issues. It lasts three hours tops on my skin with little to no projection and it's one I try to countdown since the smell don't work. If you like a scent that you can reapply and reapply during the day, this is it. Adidas Moves is a daytime spring and summer scent. I know that this review isn't going to be popular. It is in disagreement with the majority of reviews that reminisce on how this scent was their first scent in middle or high school, perhaps as a Christmas gift. As I said I didn't have this experience, instead I look at this at how it is. To me, it is a bad smelling fragrance that smells like a food you like as a kid but not often go back to as an adult. I really liked its flanker Moves 0:01, Moment of Truth while this is bleh to me. The original Adidas Moves I give a 3.7 out of 10 with the only saving grace being is a cool bottle design that is shared with Adidas Moves 0:01 (though this one is clear as oppose to blackened.)

I really don’t care for this fragrance. It is what it is, it makes me wish Fragrantica has a third option instead of love, like and dislike. Something like no opinion, or neutral. I don’t hate this fragrance, I didn’t regret wearing it, but I would never wear it again. To me it smells like a hot, humid backyard in the Deep South with that tomato scent. It’s wet and full of weeds and dried out yellow grass. Yes it is sweet but the sweetness mixed with star anise gives it a almost burnt sugar smell, and with the vegetal tomato the whole thing starts to smell like some Filipino dish like Pares or aChinese soy sauced poached chicken. Then throw in the synthetic smell of it all and it’s just not pleasing. Again I didn’t despise it, I’ve smelt worst and Cook Water is still my least favorite blue/aquatic fragrance. It’s something like a stocking stuffer for your middle school aged nephew. It won’t really offend anyone.

I have 2 tiny bottles of this. They were from some old gift sets and were never used & still sealed. I got it out and thought maybe my "tween" boys might be able to use them. Tested on myself, 2 sprays on my forearm. I really understand what others say about the tomato smell. It is also very crisp and almost metallic. Neither myself, nor my husband, are impressed even after waiting for the dry down. I have washed my arm 4 times with hand soap and even Gain dish detergent and the smell is still there! Interestingly, when the smell mixed with a coconut scented liquid hand soap it added some sweetness and was kind of nice. But once the coconut was gone it was back to nasty.

This was my high school cologne. Was a alcohol bomb that thing was. Now it's a smell filled with bad memories of some of my ex's. This was such a boring scent that was all over the place. I was likely one of many many many kids who wore this in high school. What's cringey is one of my ex's wears this cologne on her. My girlfriend and I both find the scent generic and her creepy for doing that.

A lot of guys must have worn this in high school between 1999 & 2002 because as soon as I found it in my boyfriend's medicine cabinet I immediately recognized it. Anyway, it's a fairly typical fruity/soapy melange. The apple note is very strong, as is the tomato leaf. In the drydown I can smell the thyme & lavender which are probably contributing to the overall soapy impression.

I tried this one out per the suggestion of a coworker. I don't think I have the body chemistry to pull this one off. When I initially sprayed it, it had a very nice aquatic scent, but after about 15 minutes it smelled like tomatoes and dirty socks on my skin. Not exactly what I desire to smell like, so I think I'm gonna pass on this one.
