Mediterranean Honeysuckle Clementina

Interestingly, I smell the white flowers more at the opening of the fragrance, and then the sweet clementine a few minutes later, almost as though the top and middle notes got flipped. Just like the original Mediterranean Honeysuckle, but with added citrus, this is SO pretty and delicate. Aerin is so good at creating fresh, realistic, modern florals. But for the price, I'd expect them to last at least 8 hours on me, and I get more like 4-5 hours out of the samples I've tried so far from this house. I like this and the others I've tried enough to buy a travel spray, but full bottles are out of my reach for the huge price they're asking, especially considering the performance.

I really like this one. I don’t like the original. I prefer mimosa over the OG and I like clementina over the mimosa flanker. I think the citrus and white yellow florals are much better balanced. Very nice formulation. It may have a slightly stronger jasmine note than honeysuckle, but it is done well. Lovely, gorgeous overall. Update: 3/14/23. I tried Clinique Happy. I guess there is a slight similarity, but to my nose, Clementina has a more beautiful, lovelier scent overall. It does smell more luxurious, IMHO. Update: 3/2/2025. I wore this again today, and it’s so well-blended. No note throws me off, and the Clementina goes so well with the flowers without being too sweet.

I love all of the Mediterranean Honeysuckle line (see prior reviews), but this is my favorite of all of them.The clementine/citrus note addition elevates all of the best parts of the original. Not too tart, not too sweet - airy citrus spritz on a lightly floral breeze. Sticks around all day for me. Based on other reviews below, I believe some people go nose-blind to this one quickly, because I have no issues with longevity in this line. It's not just me, because I continue to get compliments throughout the day when I wear it.

My absolute favorite fresh, crisp spring/summer perfume. I love layering this with a night jasmine perfume oil. Absolutely to die for! My body just loves this scent and I get about 2-3 ft silage in warm weather and told I smell incredible when wearing, which is not common with many citrus scents. Something about this is nostalgic and comforting for the B&B honeysuckle but grown up and more exciting. It fresh, sexy, and easy to wear any time. Put the biggest dent in this bottle out of all my other spring/summer scents.

This is an absolutely beautiful scent. It’s bright, fresh, floral and fruity without being juvenile. There is a softness that reminds me of clean linens while also not smelling like laundry. Think clean sheets that are warm from drying on the line in the sun. This scent really reminds me of Clinique Happy, but done in a more modern, refined way. Beautifully blended and a very easy grab for spring and summer days.

Better than the original! I received a sample earlier in the year and I tested it. It was just pretty, but nothing to write home about. Later on I tested again in Spring and now I'm obsessed! It really develops in the warm weather! It's bright, cheerful and beautiful, the downside is that it doesn't last too long so you have to reapply. I'll take it if it means enjoying this beauty

Beautiful perfume. It gives a citrusy/clementine top note and then dries down into a more sweet honeysuckle and jasmine smell. It is very light, airy and refreshing! Just a reminder of warm, summer tropical breezes. One of the best smelling and longest lasting citrusy perfumes on me but scents tend to last a long time on my skin. Summer in a bottle.

I LOVE this one. Very bright tart orange opening with lots of honeysuckle flowers. It feels uplifting, energizing, and womanly. It does sit closer to the skin but I wear this to the office often and I can smell it on my clothes nearly all day long. 100% spring/summer signature scent worthy!

This is so lovely and delicious in warm weather, smells like clementines and honey. Very gorgeous.. Don't wear it when the temperature is below 20 C, it won't smell the same.. its pretty tame... Too bad the performance isn't that good. I wish this would have a stronger projection

Blast of clementine that enhances the greeness of the florals. I’m getting less juice and more rind and pith. There’s no sweetness in the opening. As it wears, it’s remaining green and not sweet which differentiates it from the original Mediterranean Honeysuckle which turned into a sweet, creamy jasmine scent. The longevity is poor. I can only smell it for a few hours whereas the original lasted all day. I’m net getting much of the base notes either. I can barely smell something like ambrox and a cool moss note if I really sniff right up where I sprayed it and think about ambrox and moss. Totally worth skipping this one and getting the original instead as the original has better performance, is more complex, and is overall more pleasant smelling. Edit: Wow! This changed. After the first couple times I wore my sample, this scent completely changed to my nose. There's still the rind and pith of citrus with a green element and honeysuckle. Now, actually do smell the oakmoss! I love oakmoss in fragrances and was so disappointed that I could barely smell it before. It's really projecting oakmoss from the beginning until the end of this scent. The longevity and projection are also slightly improved. This went from ok to a like.

100% agree with someone else below that the Mimosa flanker is better than the original, and Clementina is better than Mimosa (or at least a bit more universal)! This has the sweetest profile of those three but isn't sugary, just graced with a bit of extra juciness. Reminds me vaguely of one of Chanel's Chance fragrances but without patchouli. This is very nice!

Simple, light, bright, uplifting clementine with green background. Not too sweet, not too fruity. Smells natural. Nothing original but well done. It would be great for summer for any occasion when you want to wear simple, light, refined, and inoffensive scent. Similar style to other light Aerin scents or Jo Malone. I also like it more than the original.

the first smell of clementines is insane. like being next to someone peeling a cutie. this may be a unique experience but it reminds me of being in high school and someone in class starts peeling an orange and everyone goes “yoo who is eating an orange?”. it’s too expensive for me to ever purchase myself, but the dry down is pretty as well.

The citrus is fresh and tangy. The florals are soft and sweet. This is a fun summer fragrance and I look forward to wearing it more as it gets warmer. I have a sample vial and probably won’t buy a larger size because it’s quite expensive for a scent with minimal longevity. I’ll certainly enjoy what I have!

This is definitely better than the original Mediterranean Honeysuckle perfume by Aerin Lauder and it's not as citrusy to my nose, but I still wouldn't call this a soliflore honeysuckle perfume and it's still too citrusy for my tastes. I can smell the honeysuckle in this perfume, but I feel like it's fighting too much with the clementine note and to a lesser extent the bergamot note in here. I don't really smell any of the jasmine, blackcurrant leaf, moss or any of the other notes in Mediterranean Honeysuckle Clemintina. This perfume has moderate projection but there is something slightly sour and strong about it and it's not as sweet or as white floral as actual honeysuckle flowers unfortunately. The longevity lasts quite long too for about 9 hours on my skin, so you wouldn't have to reapply it when at work. It also would be office appropriate. This perfume isn't my favorite though and I'd give Mediterranean Honeysuckle Clemintina a 5 1⁄2/10, for not bad but kind of average as far as perfumes go. It's slightly overpriced for what it is too. Beautiful packaging, though! I think I'll stick to Tuberose Le Jour and Ikat Jasmine from Aerin Lauder.

I received a free sample via Instagram. It's a good scent, its just really not to my taste. I'll find myself making a face every time I wear it. Again, not because it isn't a pleasant scent. It is. I really want to like it. It just for some reason reminds me of being doused with my mom's or aunt's perfume against my will one Sunday when I was 5 or 6 and getting stung by a bee. Its also weirdly soapy, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, just, again, not to my taste. My only actual problem with the scent has to be its longevity. It is really very short lived, and I haven't had that problem with any other scent, at least not one that starts off as strong as Honeysuckle Clementina.

My nanny bought this for me on discount because she knows I love Aerin perfumes. On first spray, this smells like straight up clementine juice and zest. Like completely photorealistic. As it settles down, you get the honeysuckle mimosa DNA but the clementine definitely sticks around. It is not sweet at all on my skin, so not like an orange creamsicle or anything like that. It's a little bit green in the background. Mostly citrus which my nose is very sensitive to. It's a safe scent to wear during the day pretty much anywhere. Performance is pretty poor and the scent usually is gone within about 2 hours on my skin.

I asked for this for Christmas, without ever smelling it, because I admire the Aerin line and already like the Mediterranean Honeysuckle. In addition I'm a sucker for citrus notes, Clementine California 4EVA. Unfortunately, this one was a bit sharp for me, and I could not get away from the cleaning product association. Maybe a car air freshener, or a hand soap? But I just didn't enjoy wearing it.

The opening is sweet fresh and juicy citrus, then the dry down barges in like an angry mob and beats you with harsh, dry, bitter, earthy, oakmoss, and a bunch of other woody stuff I dont like. They stole my succulent clementine orchard. It was such a let down. This was like split personalities.
