Tuberose Le Soir

Very grateful to my darling husband who had the inspired idea to give me this as a present for our wedding day. :-) This is Fracas but better. It lacks that sharp, slightly sour note that appears in Fracas after a few hours of wearing it. Le soir is totally delicious, expensive, elegant and exclusive to the max. I see this paired with an Hermès scarf and high heels.Confident, making the usual suspects (brands) seem slightly commomplace in comparision.Tom Ford, for example, has got a exclusive collection as well as the Black Orchid and so forth. Some of those fragrances are amazing, but still, not like this. A bit more harsh and rough I would say. This, as wellas le jour, is more finished. I want this as my signature scent, but I doubt I can make the bottle last to our next weddin day...it is certainly not cheap, but you can smell where that cost comes from! Total CLASS! I LOVE IT! <3 Update, April 26, 2018 This is the lovliest, classiest most luxurious fragrance I have ever worn. Stays on forever and has just the right amount of sillage. Noticable but never too much. LOVE! I am very surprised that there are so few reviews.....

What a gorgeous perfume! I blind bought based off the notes and was in love at first sniff. It's elegant, classy, but not old-fashioned. It is a beautiful creamy tuberose that dries down to a warm ambery vanilla without being gourmand. The vanilla base reminds me a bit of the way JHAG's Vanilla Vibes dries down, which I love. Although it's "Le Soir", it would wear this any time of day, all year 'round, for a casual meet up to a nice date or even wedding. The creaminess makes me think it would be lovely in cold weather, wearing a sweater to a coffee date. I'm in love with it. Lasting power is great as I can still smell it after the work day. Now the question is - Is it worth the money? On Canada's Sephora, Aerin fragrances for 50ml run over $200 incl tax. On the Estee Lauder website, it's a whoppin' $350! As for me, I got this second hand for half Sephora's price and 3.5x less than Estee Lauder's. I would not purchase this at retail but definitely yes if I could find it second hand again. It's beautifully done, but not groundbreaking at niche pricing for a non-niche house.

I love this scent only because it reminds me of my mom. I don’t reach for it often, I found it too grown for me. But because it was a bday gift I keep it. There’s no jasmin in this perfume but I still can smell it, or perhaps it is the tuberose that I smell. I get the vanilla which is not sweet at all in my opinion. The floral notes are very potent so if you’re not a big fan of white floral this is definitely not for you. The mandarin doesn’t last long you can only smell it once you spray. I like mixing it with Twilly d’Hermes to add a little more depth and it works pretty well. Overall very elegant, sophisticated and feminine perfume but more for a woman who is in her mid thirties.

As the name suggests, this is a tuberose perfume. Rather tamed so if you like loud tuberoses, this probably isn’t gonna rock your world. However, this is a very pretty, elegant and easy to wear. For white flower lovers, it’s fairly safe to blind buy. The performance is average, considering the price but I digress, just because it’s extremely well done and balanced. It’s a love for me. Btw, this is also a very wearable day time perfume and not too over powering.

Milky sandalwood with a nice tuberose on it. Simple, but very elegant and divine. Very similar to the likes of Piano Santal, or Sana Jardin's Sandalwood Temple, but with the addition of a nice, clean tuberose (as the one present in Nasomatto Narcotic Venus, or Frederic Malle Carnal Flower)

divine nectar! is similar to Le Jour, but even more saturated .. I have almost two days on the skin, but this is not surprising, it is pure perfume, a bottle and a velvet box - very fine, beautiful white floral scent

This is a beautiful light tuberose fragrance, sweet, feminine and elegant. Easy like. Its all about the tuberose, amber, vanilla with some ylang-ylang, very pretty scent. Perfect for day & night (spring/summer)

Lovely & cozy! Similar to Le Jour but a much warmer floral, woody amber scent. Blended so well with the citrus notes & lasts about 5-6 hrs on me. Projection is moderate. Love it!!!

I like this a lot. The scent is lush, elegant, and most importantly there is no note that throws me off like Estée Lauder’s private collection tuberose gardenia with carnation note in it. While it says it’s for night, I think it can be worn at any time of the day. Pretty and well-formulated. Tuberose Le Jour is very nice, but I think this is slightly better. I guess richer scent. Gorgeous. Actually both are exquisite. Update: 06/19/2023 this layers well with other floral or with citrus perfumes. I tried with Rose de Grasse, Fleur de Peony, and Mediterranean honeysuckle. And the different combinations are divine.

This is quite a mild mannered tuberose scent. Lots of citrus on the opening which renders it much lighter than typical tuberose bombs. Quite elegant, a word not usually associated with the raunchy tuberose. Very easy to be with for what is intended as a night time fragrance. I quite like it even if, for me, it doesn’t really fill the tuberose brief. Turns more ambery over time. I am also getting a slightly nutty tone on the drydown. Weak staying power, just vanishes on my skin. Way overpriced like all Aerins, however. I like it but its not outstanding.

When I see a duo of "night & day," I naturally assume the evening one is going to be more powerful, but this case took an intimate turn--it's surprisingly mellow and doesn't have as much personality as Le Jour; it feels more typical with a soft, warm and sweet suntan lotion vibe. If you're looking for a true tuberose "le soir" with a more reasonable price, try the original Dior Poison; if price isn't a problem, try Serge Lutens Tubereuse Criminelle for a mysterious Poison Ivy (from Batman) type, or Hiram Green Moon Bloom for "queen of the night" type.

This perfume is good, really good! It is at first a burst of tuberose, though a little more shy than the day version of this. After some time ylang becomes very prominent, competing with tuberose, and at some point i think it takes over. With addition of sandalwood, it strongly reminds me of Samsara at this point (ylang+sandalwood+vanilla). So Tuberose le soir might be worth checking out if you love Samsara. This perfume is not "dark" for a night perfume. But it is more sensual than the day version.

Makes me think of vintage tuberoses ala Fracas, except a touch more salty and savory, with a sweet amber backbone. More of a night time gala fragrance than a beach-y carefree tuberose. This was on my 'love' list for a while, but I switched it to a 'like' because it doesn't have staying power. It's been about three hours since I sprayed my sample and the white flowers are all but gone. It wouldn't be a problem if the price tag matched the performance, but it doesn't.

Sensual and opulent. A very pretty and elegant sweet floral. A bit more mature than Tuberose le Jour and more complex, but i still prefer Le Jour. The luminosity and simplicity of Tuberose Le Jour conquered me. Anyways, this is a great fragrance, different and well crafted. I can only recommend it. Regal white floral lovers should definitely try it. Strongest notes are tuberose and amber. Projection is strong. Longevity is moderate. Final note: 9/10

Smells pleasant enough... perfect for the beach on a summer day. Plus it's got amazing strength so that's a huge plus for me. But it's just another boring tuberose really.. I mean it's not an unpleasant one like Michael Kors, but it's just been done 1000 times. That same smell is just overrated.

This is a soft, feminine tuberose gardenia scent that lasts. The ylang ylang is noticeable, but doesn't overpower the scent. It's a beautiful, uplifting day scent that is clean and fresh.

I do want to add that this is way more wearable than Fracas - it's lighter. It's just a pretty feminine sexy and sophisticated scent. I love it.

I find this very unusual, almost spicy and so unique. Smells floral yet not floral, definitely evening. No particular flower comes out to me.

This is a copy of Fracas. But it isn't as cloying. Much more wearable. I like it. Mostly a tuberose scent. As advertised.

Layers well with tangier vanilla

I am so pleased that the initial blast of bubblegum doesn't last on me, and after dry down, this instead becomes a very light floral amber. If you are not into sweet and you try this fragrance, don't get turned off by what it smells like initially. It does morph into something quite nice with time. Is it the best tuberose I've ever found? No, but it is a pretty fragrance that I could totally see being someone's signature scent.

Aerin Lauder introduces an interesting concept, a dualism in the form of Tuberose Le Jour for the day and Tuberose Le Soir for the evening. The daytime version presents a fresh, green tuberose with a hint of neroli, while the evening version offers a creamy, sweet, and ambery take on tuberose. This duality succeeds in making the two fragrances distinct from each other, but they also share a common thread – a lack of a distinctive personality. The effect of transitioning from day to night can be achieved more convincingly with other fragrances. Both Tuberose Le Jour and Tuberose Le Soir are delicate and light, evoking a touch of the simplicity trend from the 90s. Tuberose Le Soir begins with a brief burst of creamy, rich tuberose, but this intensity fades within seconds. Afterward, it settles into a scent that resembles an enhanced version of one's skin with a subtle touch of tuberose.

Tuberose is a polarising floral note for many, yet on my skin, this buttery, creamy and lush accord truly shines. I have tested Tuberose Le Soir several times, and have found it to be an easy to wear tuberose fragrance, with a sunny, tropical vibe thanks to the additional ylang-ylang accord. When launched, Tuberose Le Soir was marketed as a fragrance designed to capture the scent of tuberose petals harvested in India at sunset, when the aroma becomes exceptionally rich and heady. This isn't a particularly bold tuberose fragrance, (not nearly as confronting as Robert Piguet's Fracas), but it does have an element of warmth and coziness, making it ideal as an evening scent. The fragrance opens with a brief, sparkling citrus burst from the mandarin and bergamot, but this quickly yields to a thick, creamy heart. The ylang-ylang adds a buttery, slightly tropical facet that amplifies the natural "bubblegum" sweetness often associated with high-quality tuberose. In the drydown, sandalwood and amber create a smooth, woodier foundation that anchors the floral notes. Tuberose Le Soir is perfect for the modern woman, and indeed would make a lovely wedding day scent due to its non-indolic and more approachable tuberose blend. The premium price point does limit this fragrance's potential to reach its consumers, and for the amount of money spent on Tuberose Le Soir, there are niche tuberose fragrances that have much better lasting power and are more luxurious.

High quality white floral. Reminds me a bit of a tame more feminine Armani Prive Vert Malachite with the sweet white flowers mixed with ylang over citrus and amber (but Vert Malachite has vanilla). Both are white flower powerhouses. While Le Soir starts with a bang, it softens down quickly. Projection and longevity is about average. Within 4 hours its one step above a skin scent. Smells expensive and elegant and any woman who wants a buttery smooth tuberose will be more than happy with this. My only issue with this line is its priced in the niche category, but their fragrances are fairly mainstream and commercial. Quality is good, but I feel Aerin is overpriced.

Exquisite! Tuberose blended beautifully. No sour, harshness. Very long lasting for Aerin fragrances. Always my main complaint regarding this line. The base note is mesmerizing. Perfect warm weather scent. Also heads-up for Tuberose Gardenia fans; its being reformulated (again), bottle change. Will be unavailable for awhile! Tuberose Le Soir is a great alternative!

This lasts as long as the others in this line . A lesson here : a high price, fancy bottle and a well known name can only keep the ship floating for so long . This entire line looks like the hobby of a dilettante .
