Laathani

This one’s a certified banger. I went home with a sample from my local fragrance shop, and before it had even dried down, I was already back at the counter. Turns out I wasn’t the only one. Sold out. Had to order it online. Let’s get this out of the way: Fragrantica’s note breakdown is incomplete. The actual note pyramid is: Top: Fresh Notes, Candied Fruit Heart: Oud Accord, Rosemary Base: Leather, Bakhoor Accords Laathani is niche-level quality with serious craftsmanship. It’s more expensive than your average arab fragrance ($140 AUD), but you smell the difference instantly. Super high oil content. Rich, thick, luxurious. Performance? Beast mode. Sillage? Beast mode. Longevity? Beast mode. You get the idea. Two sprays max. Room-filling. Lingers for hours, maybe days. The opening hits you with a mix of bright freshness and juicy candied fruit with a little citrusy spark, but never juvenile. Then the heart brings in this elegant oud and I usually hate oud, but here it just works. It doesn’t dominate. It adds depth and mystery without shouting. Rosemary and herbaceous notes weave through a smoky, incensey trail of bakhoor. I didn’t even know what bakhoor was, but apparently it's used in ceremonies, meditation and rituals. It is believed to attract angels in some cultures. Well, my wife cuddled up real close after I wore this, so there might be something to that. It smells masculine, fresh, and confident. Feels like it’s made for a grown man who knows who he is. Completely versatile. Date night, office, special events. It just fits. And while part of me wanted to gatekeep this hidden gem, I couldn’t help but share it.

Beautiful scent, quite unique to me, but "casual"smell in some cultures. At first I thought I was going nose blind, but then I sprayed it on my son. Laathami on one hand and on the other Kaaf. After hour maybe, laathani is almost completely gone. Must put nose on skin. On the other hand, Kaaf was projecting and his room was nicely smelling. So maybe it will change, but I don't believe it, so Laathani for me is not a keeper. Maybe I've got bad batch, don't know....scent I like a lot, anything else is big disappointment. Update: it became stronger and beast mode fragrance. So glad I didn't sold it. Luxurious fragrance, with great projection and longevity. I sold armpits smelling Kaff instead ;)

I got this recently and I own a few other AAM frags. Right off the bat a few points: very high quality long lasting and good projection nothing cheap about it great packaging and atomiser seems more pricy than it already is oud is sweet and subtle but has that middle eastern touch but not overbearing its got noticeable leather, oud and sweetness which work well together One point to note is if you already own Blue Oud by AAM, then you will find many similarities with it. At least for me it seemed that way. Maybe it will change character over time but Im really happy with this purchase. Worth a buy if you have nothing like it. If you have Blue oud....maybe try before you buy. I love me both.

Many people say that Laathani is a dupe for Imperial Valley, but after smelling them side by side, I would say Laathani stands on its own. It is smooth, well blended, lightly sweet, and subtly fresh. Compared to Imperial Valley, it is smoother and more mass appealing while still maintaining excellent longevity and projection. Laathani is not as fruity as some reviewers describe. Parfumo lists candied fruits as a top note, which may explain the initial touch of sweetness. Overall, it comes across as aromatic, dark, and fresh. If you enjoy Imperial Valley, think of Laathani as its smoother, more refined fraternal twin.

This one honestly feels like a better, higher-quality version of Imperial Valley. The brand doesn’t get nearly enough recognition, just like its older brother Ignite Oud. You’re basically getting niche-quality juice for pennies, and it lasts forever — even before maceration! Compared to Ignite Oud, I find this one way more wearable for everyday situations, while Ignite feels more like a “special occasion” scent. Nothing here is too loud or over the top — just a really well-balanced mix of quality oud, leather, and fruit that smells way more expensive than it is.

I don't know how fragrantica came up with above note break down but some of them are correct. Bakhoor is sweeter and smokier in an airy way. I can definitely see some dry sweet candied fruits in the mid and drydown. It has that woody feel as well. Pinnacle of niche but damn mass appealing. I can't ignore and have to state that the quality and blending here is in the best possible superior category in fact it's far superior than most of the expensive fragrances I own or did. Gorgeous fragrance for evening outs in any weather but gets better with cold.

Just got it. Not bad. On the case it says edp, but at the bottom of the bottle and on the side it says extrait de parfum :s Does not last too long on the skin unfortunately, but does stick on clothes. Had the October 2025 bottle delivered in December. Edit: spray some when you get the bottle and then let it sit for a week. Then the magic starts after that! Wow actually! Flipping mind blowing, stays for days on clothes. 10 hours in the office and 11th hour for a beer and still got compliments! This is going in my top 10

Bought another cologne and received this as a free sample, and even with the 2ml i got, it was very good. I did not pick up a very strong oud and it seems well blended as i often do not like oud fragrances. I felt it was sweet and had a tea, fruity vibe rather than just rosemary, unless this is just because i am not very experienced with knowing smells. But very good and lasts long and radiates well and is very versatile but maybe not for hot summer days because of its sweet, heavy notes

The fruity top notes turn this in to an all seasons fragrance. Its a little too sweet for me, but its still excellent. The incense is dialed back a little compared to Blue Oud, which is excellent, but this is quite similar. Both are absolute powerhouses in the performance department, but this one is stronger. I still ran 6 sprays though. Blue Oud is more my style with less sweetness and a touch more smoke. 8.25 and bumping Blue Oud to 8.5.

To me it smells somewhat similar to ignite oud. Also smells similar to imperial valley. Very good performer and smells extremely high quality. 10/10. Just so everyone knows fragrantica is missing most of the notes. There is way more to this than what's listed. I'd like to add that i now own 50 from ahmed. In my opinion they are the best house when you factor in price. Extremely high quality and every single fragrance is beast mode.

got this as a sample with other purchase. starts sweet aromatic for me and then turns into something beautiful! I am not into oud fragrances at all and very picky with leather. Like I am not a fan of Rasasi’s La Yuqawam’s leather note, but this is amazing, inoffensive and addictive here! very interesting and green sweet juicy woody dry down. not going to get a full bottle but really like this one!

Laathani will definitely get you noticed. A room filler and I would go further that even in an outside setting everybody will know. A absolutely beautiful fruity bakhoor and oud and to my nose its bakhoor leaning. The smooth smokiness of the bakhoor is brilliantly executed in the perfume. Well done Ahmed Al Maghribi!

Honestly, people need to start using proper assessment before commenting or rating a fragrance. Someone said it's a common DNA but let me ask you. What made it common and where have you seen this DNA wildly replicated. There's no designer level to this fragrance, it's an amazing niche level unique fragrance.

Smells like rich person. I had Madawi, Gold version, Laathani is citrus and fresh version of Madawi Gold Projection and Longevity is very good Every one in my house loves it, even my wife and my sister I'd say Laathani is one of those top tier Arabian Fragnance The best perfume by Ahmed, in opinion

Was a bit concerned that my partner would be chased because it still left a trail at 10 hour mark. Not like the usual oud, the freshness does make a difference and make it fit for a tropical country too. We bought it from the shop in Dubai and fell in love quickly.

This is a fragrance I'd love to smell on my man. Very expensive, rich smelling, well blended, three piece suit type of fragrance. Very unique. Actually prefer it to Ignite Oud which is also top tier. But there's something about this one. Niche level quality.

I highly suspect those who compare this to Imperial Valley, they got a fake IV. This is fresh sweet bakhoor while IV is fresh leathery with zero sweetness. I got a fake IV at some point and that was similar to this. But real IV not at all by a long shot.

Number one Perfume with beast mode performance and its smell is amazing and silage is awesome it can fill the entire room with single spray and smell is beautiful. really blind buy for winter fall and nights .
