Rose Noir

This range/series of perfumes from Ahmed Al Maghribi is a hidden gem. I bought Lush Noir and Rose Noir as a combo on discount in January 2025, and originally Lush Noir was my favourite of the two. This summer though? No idea what changed, but oh my gosh, Rose Noir has been my signature for the hot weather. It's spicy, a bit floral, but not overwhelmingly so, and settles so beautifully. I got so many compliments. The dry down is a bit woody, and bit musky, and just helps me smell clean and fresh all day at work, which is super important on 11-12 hour shifts where i'm in and out of the hot summer weather all day and in clinical settings. I had no complaints from people that it was overpowering or unpleasant, except for the first 30mins after I applied it, but even then it was just compliments saying I smelt really good. Once it settled, it was great. Interesting that there's no rose note listed, because I definitely smell rose, and I also smell mandarin rather than orange. Brains are fascinating. I love how we interpret scents. Something tells me this will be a favourite again next summer.

I got a sample of this for free and i immediately fell in love that I purchased a full bottle. I don't know why rose isnt listed in the notes but I could smell it just right, not too jammy not too fresh. This is a big deal considering that I hate rose fragrances (enough that i detest delina) and this is the only rose perfume I own. Also there is something so creamy in the dry down that makes this so milky floral to me. The longevity is also really good. I can't wait for this to macerate even longer, though I have been using it already and have no problems.

if i lost my entire perfume collection today this is the first one i'm repurchasing, not only am i obsessed with it but everyone that gets close or hugs me complements me. I sprayed some on a blanket before gifting it to my cousin and she messaged me a few days later asking me what perfume I used. I think rose noir is a personality trait of mine. If you love a heavy wintery perfume do not buy other than that it’s a safe blind buy. (I have the old bottle that looks like oud lavender but white with flowers, idk if the new packaging comes with new formula)

I looked up some of my favorite notes and fragrantica had this list. Finally found it and to my surprise it was $35. Seeing smells like Olympea almost scared me away because I find that perfume matronly but I'm happy I bit the bullet. I definitely love this scent. Doesn't smell like Olympea too my nose. Definitely a floral soft powerdery vanillic scent. Extremely feminine, long lasting, and projects well. You can wear this year round. It is a compliment getter. I get a compliment every time I wear it from both men and women. Great buy.

First of all, this smells absolutely nothing like Olympea or Olympea intense to my nose. I have them both and put them side by side to Rose noir and no resemblance. Rose Noir is a very luscious and feminine smelling fragrance. It has syrupy florals mixed with some sweet orange and a powdery undertone. It is very smooth, clean and sophisticated. It also smells very expensive. And omg it got me so many compliments, more than my $300 fragrances 😅 Definitely reccommend if you love syrupy sweet and creamy smooth florals

Wow! This is incredible and so well blended. At first it smelled a little like a Victoria secret spray but after a couple of minutes it begins to settle into the most wonderful, floral, powdery powerhouse. This is a beast perfume that lasts a really long time and smells so so elegant. To me, it doesn't smell like Olympea, which I'm very happy about. I purchased in Canada for about $45 cad, but it smells to me like a $300 perfume. Absolutely amazing!

Milky vanilla powder with a noticeable 'fuzz' at the edges that's both musky and a touch salty. The jasmine is much stronger in the opening, tapers off my skin in an hour. Delicious and very heady, projection is intense and lasts all day and then some. This is perfect for spring & autumn, can't be too hot or too cold. I think you can get away with this in winter days and summer nights as well. Very affordable and easily a 'love'.

sexy oriental elegance scent, its close to Olympia EDP but this one is lighter version. I get the most are sweet orange citrusy floral and salty scent, value for money, very nice packaging and lovely bottle shape, good sillage, performance and longevity, must have item, very affordable

Smells so fresh and clean! The scent perfectly encapsulates the feeling of being on a boat on a cool summer day floating in the ocean. It’s great for spring and I can see this being a banger for me in the summer! Glad I purchased.

This perfume is insanely gorgeous! It's clean, powdery, creamy, and feminine. The performance is ok, it could be worn in spring/summer both day and night as the woody notes aren't too prominent. So it's versatile and safe wear.

This is the top 2 ohh how much I loose this scent I can't explain! It's a dream in a bottle, it sweet but creamy ,its floral but sexy in the same time ,powdery but instead its butter cream with some rose jam and vanilla 😋

This is genuinely such a beautifully delicate rose fragrance. I’ve been on the hunt for rose scents that I actually like because usually I hate rose. This is definitely something I can see myself reaching for often

Im a man but i like the rose notes, so its great for rose note lovers, it can be make me feminine but i do not care about that. Its good fragrance with a good longevity

This needs to macerate a while to get the true essence of the scent. Very nice and sweet, expensive smelling perfume good for evenings out or date nights. 10/10

Love it! Got a lot of compliments. It's very powdery and elegant. Not powdery grandma. But I prefer this indoors instead of outdoors. Very long lasting too.

I don't get it why there's no rose notes in the list, but I can smell the rose. It is sweet rosy powdery scent. It's so addicting.

Smells abit darker than olivia by maison a. I like it more too. Salty and flowery. Rosy, but jammy - not bright and scratchy.

Can a guy pull this off? I just purchased this. I have several feminine ahmeds and I enjoy wearing them.
