Ok not gonna lie, I bought it initially for the bottle 🫣 So sleek and satisfying! Beautiful! And the scent is a big plus, really good green/spicy freshie with the slight sweetness of cardamom. I love it! Actually I have a few of this line from Ajmal and they are all really good. I’m a woman but I love masculine scents as well, specially the green and lavender ones 💚

A good quality fragrance like all Ajmal perfumes. This is not an edt but an edp and however does not finish completely convincing me. The sweet aroma of vanilla is accompanied by a citric aromatic lemon, making Chemystery a fragrance that is not heavy, on the contrary, sweet but refreshing. A very pleasant sweet and fresh aroma with a good projection and sillage and a considerable good longevity too. Anyway, I was expecting more from this perfume. Afther the first slightly sweet and sour citric and vanilla opening, you can expect a classic drydown with no surprises, and is in the drydown where I was expecting something more exciting. The bottle has an elegant minimalist design. A completely transparent container with only the signature of Ajmal at the bottom. One of the smartest bottles in men's fragrance in recent times This perfume is perfet for summer or for tropical humid and hot countries. Not heavy, good projection, good sillage and good longevity.

Smells like the 90's. Kurt Cobain would have smelt like this on a good day, as on a bad day he probably smelt like pickled gherkins on mouldy wet toast. It's got aldehyde undertones, which feel dirty in a good way, like allowing foamy ocean waves to go all over your body, splattering it with bacterial sex pheromones from the seaweed. It does have a hit of freshness however, namely from grapefruit and cardamom, but the fresh tones soon disappear. There is also a warm base present, that wraps around your neck like a cashmere scarf. Mucky, personal and slightly off-putting. You'll either sort of like it, or find it deplorable. 5/10. Each to their own with this one.

I really don't feel the vanilla as prominent as the woods (bitter green cypress, sandalwood, vetiver), so I don't think it has much to do with Envy, Le Male, Opium Homme.. It has minimal sweetness. The other prominent aspect is the freshness of citruses and green herbal aromatics. I think Eau de Grey Flannel might be the closest to compare in terms of overall vibe/character. From my haves, it reminds somewhat of Trussardi Python Uomo, but not much really. I was interested in sampling it at a dept store Ajmal counter today because almost ten years ago when I still frequented traditional discounters, this bottle caught my eye, but sampling wasn't possible due to absence of testers. Retail price is around 50 bucks for 90ml. Buy? No, not for me, but thanks for the chance to satisfy my almost a decade long curiosity..

It’s not a clone of Envy and I don’t think it’s trying to be, but it is similar. I still have my original bottle of Envy I’ve had since Christmas ‘98 or 99.
