I, like many 30-40 something’s started my fragrance journey years ago with the smash hits like Cool Water, Aspen, Mambo, Curve, and others you could find for a cheap price at your local WhateverMart. Curve and cool water are still readily available, but have been changed by the years, “gems” like this (Avatar) however, have been forced to the back pages of eBay, for extremely jacked up prices for a whiff of nostalgia. Although I couldn’t remember the exact scent of this, it hit me all at once when I put my nose on the first spray. It took me straight back to when I thought an abundance of cheap cologne would supersede the need for a tub and scrub. Alexandria nailed this, they even got that overly synthetic cheapness down perfectly. I’m not downing them at all - it couldn’t have been easy. I’m so glad I didn’t have to pay $200+ for this, because it’s not something I would wear in my adult life, HOWEVER I’m very pleased to own this and be able to take a whiff and have it send me back to simpler times. Now if I could only find a suitable substitute for Eddie Bauer Adventurer, my nostalgia meter would be peaked and I could be content.

Yes. It is spot on to avatar, and the performance is fantastic! Considering alexandria uses the pressurized atomizer, 2 sprays is enough of this. Its nuclear. It easily lasts all day, and the scent seems to just get better and better as the day goes on. If you know and like avatar, just buy it already. If you dont, its worth a try!

Fresh, barbery and definitely soapy. Very clean, pleasant smell. Lasts about 3-4 hours with moderate projection for me. Would recommend.

I've been looking for a "clone" of Avatar after my last $6 clearance bottle from 2008 dried up. Tried all the similar scents. I was excited when Dua released Realization only to be very disappointed. This one hits the mark though. The first batch was overly musky. I left a review stating as much, but decided to give them another shot. I'm not sure if they heard from all of us, but they tweaked it and hot damn, it's about 97%. The only thing that is missing is something in the dry down. I can't even put my finger on what it is, but there was a nonlinear note in Avatar that stayed on your clothes for a day or too that was gold. I bought 2 large bottles this last time and as they mature they keep getting better and better. Totally worth the price. Don't waste your money on 20 year old bottles of Avatar for $300 on eBay that have already turned or evaporated. This juice is it.
