Café

Well this was a pleasant surprise! Replica's Coffee Break is top 5 for me, but it just doesn't last. And I don't mean that it just becomes a skin scent. I like skin scents, but I mean that it just stops smelling. Today, I was in T.J.Maxx and had a group of ALT. fragrances - I saw this one, grabbed it, and tried it. I put it in my cart and walked around the store... and after about 45 minutes it was still there! And it really does smell like Coffee Break - they did VERY good with this one. I bought it. It's now almost 5 hours later and I STILL smell it. Yay!

Have both OG and ALT version. Scent very close to the original, both are not long lasting. Love the scent.

EN: This is a very pretty scent inspired by Replica- Coffee Break, I was looking for a coffee perfume and when I tried this on my skin I fell in love. The milky notes, vanilla, cedar and lavender makes a sweet and soft-spicy combination, it is addictive. I can also say that I paid around $100 for 3 ALT. fragrances and I was a great deal, I bought Café, Miami Nights and Sovereign. Performance on my skin: pretty good and long lasting (5hrs), I received a couple of compliments the first time that I wore it. hard to explain the opening is not to nice smells like the banana loolies and a bit of watered black coffee but it starts to come together latter on smell a bit more like a caremel shot in a black coffee and less creamieness than coffee break

Pretty sad about this one. Coffee Break is my absolute favorite scent. But much like everyone else, my grievance comes from the lack of stay + projection. I have looked for dupes to layer with, but none have come close. I have seen many reviews stating the ALT version is the closest. Luckily for me, I ordered a used one for cheap on ebay. Upon receiving, I was ecstatic at how close it smelled to the original just from sniffing the bottle. I was over the moon at first spray at how close it was but stronger. Then after a minute, it turned into lemon pledge on my skin. It has a very artificial sickly plastic smell and that is all that has been left on me. My skin chemistry: I do well with the original Coffee Break, Gris Charnel (one of the only sandalwoods that works on me), Black Opium Illicit Green, Eilish 1, oud scents, dark rose scents, dark berries, and spicy scents. - I do bad with: Coconut, clean fragrances (soap etc), candy scents, most sandalwood (turns to pickles on me), bright florals (turns into hospital cleaner), "young" vanilla (without a deep or spicy accord). This turned into a terrible smell on me and again, I am devastated. Back to the drawing board.

I expected so much more! I thought this was going to smell totally different than how it does. The coffee is very weak and so is the lavender. I was expecting a creamy coffee-heavy fragrance with a touch of lavender. Instead I get a bit of milk mousse, some cedarwood and a tiny bit of lavender. However I've never smelled the original, maybe it smells better.
