This smells very similar to Delina la Rosee, very pretty watery rose and sweet peony blend. Fresh girly and feminine. I enjoy it. The consecration is more of a EDT than EDP. Price is quite steep for what it is. I much prefer Delina la Rose. With that being said I did buy as a memory scent from the trip with my husband but wouldnt repurchase.

The drydown is everything (and unfortunately the opening is not much). It opens like a dewy, fresh, smelled-you-before rose. So much so that I wrote it off as such. But oof, that perfectly shampoo-y drydown is doing something to me right now. I love how the peony blooms as it opens into something sweet, fruity, fresh, dewy rosey, but pointed.

This is a really pretty rose, peony, and litchi scent, with a noticeable amount of citrus. Fresh and feminine. It reminds me a lot of Chloe edp, but I get more citrus in this.

Chemical Floral That's pretty much it. I've smelled fabric softener that is less shrilly chemical. When I go to smell this stuff I feel like there is a little man at the back of my throat, choking me. There is a soupy chemical 'flower' note surrounded by a brighter chemical 'citrus' note, all sitting on a dryer sheet base. That's it. And the price of this is ludicrous. $210 a bottle? This is why niche is becoming a joke. Just buy some V05 or something and shampoo your hair, you'll smell better than this does.

I fell for that false charm at beginning, but the dry-down... I admit, in a blind test, I won’t be able to differentiate it from the cheapest type of shampoo.

Thank goodness I read these reviews and looked at the notes because I was about to order a sample of this and I already know that this would not be a pleasant experience for me. I have yet to find a peony dominated scent that smells like anything other than typical fresh shampoo and I don't know why perfumers insist on putting it in with rose oriented fragrances. I think rose is a note that does well enough on its own and doesn't need any distractions like peony, freesia or lily-of-the-valley around it to shine.

By Any Other Name is all Rose and Peony on me. I find it quite strong and heady. It's wonderful if you love rose - this is a fresh crisp rose with pretty peony joining the party. The dry down is more musky on my skin, but the florals are still there lingering in the background. Very pretty and a must try if you love rose! I've so far been impressed by Altaia's line of perfumes - very nice.

I find this perfume super light and intimate. When I sniff my wrists, it smells like very citrusy, with a background of rose and peony. It’s slightly soapy. It’s pretty but nothing thrilling to me. My favorite citrusy, soapy rose is Adone by Agatho, and I think I’ll stick with that over this.

Crisp, green rose. I don't know how this is possible. Young roses, the smell you get when you bury your face into a Rose that dangling over the fence from someone's garden when you walk past their house. I die for that scent and I never thought I'd find it.

Loved loved the opening notes of this scent. However, on my skin it didn't even last 10 minutes. The scent just completely vanished like I didn't apply good 2-3 sprays. That is unfortunate, because from the bottle it just opens very nicely.
