Oriental Noir

I received all Amberfig fragrances to review them at my Brazilian website, even the ones that haven't reached the market at the time, such as Smoking Lounge and Cafe Massoia. Beautiful creations, by the way. Let's talk about this one: Oriental Noir reveals a warm scent, rich in spices, alcoholic nuances, and dense aspect. Its fragrance doesn’t lose anything for a Serge Lutens, for instance. In the official composition we have cedarwood from Virginia and European cypress, in the output; Cloves, incense, vanilla, and tonka bean, in the heart; Amber, benzoin, and vetiver, in the base. On my skin, the Cypress announces what's coming. The smell of cloves is wonderful, without any medicinal aspect of remedy used by dentists, which is common in some fragrances that possess such note. This smell arises, almost immediately, after applying the fragrance on the skin. When the evolution starts for real, the incense is very yummy and the vanilla is a liqueur as if it dyes the liquid and gives the final color of the product. From the base, I feel a strong and resinous amber. The vetiver seems to appear trying to breathe, as if it were a diver rising to the surface searching for air, in a sea of ambery nuances. I see more of a masculine approach in this fragrance that makes me think of an audience composed, mostly, by men who are firm and determined in their purposes. Both projection and lasting are beyond reproach. Oriental Noir is a Brazilian creation, with beautiful presentation and quality that matches the big brands of international prestige.

I had huge expectations of this fragrance. It has tonka beans, vanilla, vetiver, amber, incense, cloves and cypress, all of which I feel attracted to. When I got it, I absolutely loved it. It smells A LOT of cloves and star anises at first, then incense, vetiver, dates and cinnamon. Couldn't smell vanilla or tonka bean on my skin (it's not a sweet fragrance at all). I love that it doesn't try to be a balanced scent, it is not mainstream in any way: no flowers, no "perfume-y" scent. I feel like and old lebanese lady cooking in her kitchen full of spices and delicious smells. Pungent, authentic, great. Try before you buy it.

Beautiful blend of cloves and amber (these are the predominant notes to my nose). Very versatile as far as it can be worn during the day or at night. In daytime, it smells rather uplifting. At night, it is exotic and alluring. All Amberfig fragrances are made of pure essential oils (no synthetics at all!), so you can be sure you're sniffing the real stuff. It has also great sillage and longevity.

A legitimate oriental scent with much incense and spices. he has a clove just right , very good perfume to be used at night and in cold climates , well marked and with a great setting

It's THE perfum, i love it. I love all Amberfig's fragrances, but this one is 'my baby'....srrsrsrrs

Analyze any Amberfig is a task that requires caution and split by those who submit, and effort and sensitivity as well, since the complexity that each fragrance House is prepared and passeth all understanding that pervades what had already been built and launched in the world of perfumery. The compenetrante power of each aromatic note, associated with opulence of each fragrance of the House, are merits to consecrate the uniqueness of their creations and make him exceptionalities that border the chimera of an existence still unknown, and so it is with East Noir. The opening of Eastern Amberfig Noir leads us to a damp and soggy forest with green aspects that reveal an aromatic dark density, which for sure I can not define, but, closing his eyes and giving me a ride "blind" by hedges this enigmatic forest charging on rather more than we can imagine. In its opening is notorious bitter with hints of aromatic woods that make your presentation a beautiful invitation to the olfactory way that it reveals at every step of its evolution. Like any other Amberfig fragrance, this one also has the evolution between each stage of their journey hyper-belated manner, ie, at a slow pace and peados sometimes deceive leading us to think that there will not come forth any more. East Noir presents in his heart oriental aromatic characteristics outrageous, as the imposing presence of Clove-India rescendendo bravely, giving you a burning, and even reminiscent of a cinnamon wood, rustic and manly associated with a smoked tone kinda oily as if it were almond, transcendent. Never before had felt Vetiver off a fragrance, I confess that I considered not ornasse such a note out of a perfume, but Eastern Noir innovated, causing me, bringing the Vetiver "cover to cover" so as not to go wrong at any time, especially for bringing in your basis, his faithful association with resinous nuances, hot and sweetened to that vibe herbal and dry characteristic of Vetiver roots that are super common in essences of houses in my area (North). Finally, Amberfig Noir Oriental is a whiplash Clove-India with toasted Vetiver / incensed intensely that finally are in love with a sweet resinous aspect quite evident. I consider the Oriental Noir notes, as a French kiss, no hurry to finish and where the fluid changes become one, and sometimes glean the amalgam on who's around. Sublime!

I'm in the first minutes the predominant clove then mixing the vetiver something more green herbal, but over time the notes will be bottoming and it shows more and more comforting amber incensed slightly sweet enveloping us in its cloud incensed
