Summer in Dubai

A beautiful, citrusy, summer scent. Grapefruit oriented, which I personally love, like a grapefruit pineapple punch. I blind bought this & now it's my signature summer scent (for 2026 atleast). Although I havent really measured / kept track of performance, I think its relatively long lasting compared to other summer frags (especially as citrus ones dont usually last too long). If you love a sharp, tasty, juicy grapefruit, I'd highly recommend! Also, the quality of the bottle itself is great. the cap is heavy, & clicks on top satisfyingly, so you can hold the bottle by the cap & it wont budge. The atomiser is great too. I love the details on the cap & the ridges / texture on the side of the bottle. The bright blue is very pleasant too, really stands out in my collection.

I’ve had my bottle for a while. It smells very similar to the other absolu Aventus DNA style fragrances. There’s a blue/aquatic twist to it that’s very nice. Really cool bottle and great performance. I put it right underneath the beast mode category. Not quite a room filler 24 hour scent. More of an 8-12 hour with more moderate Sillage. If you have Supremacy CE or Preciux 1 this wouldn’t be redundant as there is enough of a twist to differentiate it from so many of the others in that style.

Dylan Blue 80% Polo 67 EDP 20% (without the woods) Strong out of the box, lasts 7-8hrs on me and good projection.

This is along the lines of Dylan Blue and Acqua Essenziale Blu. Not sure how a summer in Dubai is indicative of a blue designer fragrance but whatever. Just imagine Dylan Blue without the incense, maybe slightly more fresh and the citrus stands out a bit more. Redundant if you have the aforementioned or similar blue fragrances. Edit: Smells nothing like ADG profumo. In fact it has absolutely no connection to any ADG DNA. I can see a correlation with AA but it's very little only at the top which quickly fades.

Supposed to be a mix of Aqua Di Gio & Absolu Aventus, initially opens bright & citrusy, but rapidly dials down to something much darker, to me this is not a ‘Summer Freshie’ as many suggest. You can pick up a bit of ADG more so on clothing than on skin I’ve found, It’s an ok frag but nothing special in terms of scent profile or performance. I’ve been wearing this for the past four days in order to evaluate it, have reapplied it multiple times throughout each day as it’s pretty weak & lacking projection. It’s too expensive for what it is, paid about £40 here in the UK for my bottle, which IMO is too much for what you're getting in return. I’m really not sure why others are claiming this smells just like Dylan Blue which I have a lot of experience with as I wear it all the time with 2x 200ml bottles in my collection. Could be due to the patchouli & incense maybe, but it’s been suggested that it’s 80% Dylan Blue which I just don’t get at all 🤔 Performance is pretty mediocre with mild projection for an hour or so, goes on to be an intimate skin scent for around 3-4hrs, no one’s gonna be smelling you by this stage unless they are necking you maybe, it’s definitely not a beast mode frag like I’ve heard some claim. Definitely don’t understand those claiming 8-12hrs longevity but then I’ve become used to the BS claims here on Fragrantica these days. Glazed (As usual) by the bullshit kickback brigade “TLTG, Aromatix & Curly Fragrance” But so far for me just a very average frag, has a very prominent note which may be the pachouli & reminds me of my Maison Asrar Vanguard (which is a take on Absolu Aventus) from my experience so far I’d say this is just another overhyped & underperforming glazed frag.

An absolute belter of a casual care-free summer fragrance for the price (I paid 23 Euros). Excellent performance and compliment getter as well. The grapefruit, pineapple and sea notes with a touch of ginger works so well the clean patchouli, ambroxan and amber in the base. Very addictive scent!
