Après Cologne

All year round essentials. Distinctive. Energising. Effervescent. More tea-tree oil please. How I wish it was less citrusy and more phenolic. But I believe in composers wisdom and accept what he’s designed. The only other fragrance I know that does not melt under high heat is portrayal man by amouage. Entirely a different scent but with a steal backbone and that shared subtle earth smoky character. Agree with others it’s not abrasive but there is this sharpness not piercingly but mild enough.

Perfect for hot weather. It’s a cologne that follows the classic structure but the richness of the materials make it so much more than a simple cologne which you will need to re-apply after 30 minutes. It stays on pretty much the whole day! The best thing is that it’s not your typical synthetic commercial cologne , where everything smells harsh and abrasive . This smells natural and comforting. Will re-purchase for sure! New summer staple!

If you are bored of the usual colognes and want to upgrade the experience, buy this. Yes, it follows the classic structure, but the sheer amount of materials make this richer, sturdier and more luxe. This isnt going to fade away after an hour. The tee tree is used expertly, as well as the sea fennel oil. It adds interest without jumping the shark. Cant go wrong with this in high heat environments.

sharp, bright, aromatic opening! it calms down after awhile and becomes softer and muskier as it dries with the support of neroli, petitgrain and orris. backed up by vetiver, ambergris, musk, sandalwood, and that unique tea tree oil in the base. really lovely citrus forward scent, almost like a fougere but different, not as herbal and dry. works wonders in hot weather and smells of quality!

Don’t get me wrong, I like it a lot. But it leans a bit in the direction of toilet cleaner. Seriously, there’s nothing wrong with it. I’m just a bit scared of wearing it in public. Nice, sharp citruses and aromatics, cutting through hot summer air. Musky as well. 4/5
