Figue De Vertu

Figue de Virtu is summer in a bottle! The fig leaf is so fresh and green and it transports you to a place near the sea on a hot summer day , while you are enjoying the shade under a fig tree , eating coconut. The coconut isn’t very heavy, but it’s there too as an underlying current , just enough to add further to the summer images evoked in your head. The fragrance is salty, green , mildly sweet , and aquatic, all at the same time! It carries the DNA of Eau de Vertu but it’s definitely not a flanker. It’s a completely separate entity , and a great one at that! You just can’t go wrong with it if you want a great summer fragrance!

Gorgeous, voluptuous fig with tropical florals. Figue De Vertu is fresh, dewy and salty. I’m on a sandy beach in heaven. The dry down brings out a natural, spicy wood scent. This is just so so damn pretty. Warning: Dangerous. After wearing this for a few minutes I immediately started seeking it out, then clicked on the buy button at the 2 hour mark. (A problem for those on a budget).

Fig is my favourite note. To me this is the best fig cantered fragrance out there. ❤️ An excellent creation :)

The fig tree wood is different, that touch of hinoki gives it stand out character. The fig itself plays second fiddle, sweet and mild without being too fruity, cloaked in coconut, it does remind me a bit of Jardins d'Ecrivains Wilde as it wears. An interesting and multifaceted fragrance, well worth a sniff for fig and green note lovers.
