Rose Prana

Thanks to a fellow Fragranticans generosity I was able to try this lovely. It is a very pretty rose centered fragrance with a good dose of creamy musk. You then pick up that it is a softish chypre with the oakmoss and pepper adding a little kick. The verbena adds that lovely freshness which I think makes this a very easy to wear anywhere scent. Its the musk and rose that hang on until the last. I was not surprised that my Mum asked what I was wearing. My Mum is a typical "English Rose" with her very pale (can't tan if my life depended on it!) and natural strawberry blonde hair. She suits it much more than me. Mum is not usually one for rose scents but as I said before this is quite a fresh, pretty rose. I get moderate sillage but it does quickly retract to a skin scent after half an hour or so. The longevity is moderate. Considering the hefty price tag I would buy a much cheaper rose scent elsewhere.

Citrusy rose. Nothing special but good for days when when you don't want something sophisticated. Not bad in terms of longevity.

Blind tested and rose and lily most prominent to me. Lily being the violet leaf of course but I had guessed Lilly of the valley. A green fresh white floral. Something sweetening it up but couldn't place what. Guess it's the musk. I also guessed a potential oakmoss or something mossy. Ding ding ding! Now rearranged notes accordingly. Rest of the notes nonexistent to me especially not vetiver nor patch. I'll revert if they appear on the drydown. *** Get in touch to swap samples if you're in UK. ***

Turkish, Bulgarian, and sharp red roses This is a variation of roses, the Turkish, & Bulgarian for the sweetness, besides the sharp red roses, & violet leaves. It's creamy with musk, oakmoss, vetiver, & red pepper. It's a very cute creamy rosy blend that didn't go neither overly sweet roses nor overly sharp. Cute.
