Par Amour Pour Elle

Par Amour Pour Elle is a great tuberose, blue hyacinth bomb. Has some more florals, like ylang ylang, rose, jasmine, orange blossom, carnation, neroli but on my skin, this scent is mostly blue hyacinths and tuberose. Lush, creamy, big, bold, daring, warm, smooth, happy, addictive florals. Seriously impressive creations and I have never heard anyone talking about this house or about Lucien Ferrero. I swear this perfumer deserves more attention, respect and appreciation for his ability to create such breathtaking perfumes. Also, I feel that this perfume is a spectacular representation of a realistic blue hyacinth smell. So, if hyacinths are your flower, you should definitely try to at least sample Par Amour Pour Elle! Smelling this makes me think of some classic big floral like Amarige. Not that this smells exactly like Amarige, but if you were to like Amarige, you would 100% like Par Amour Pour Elle. If I remember correctly, this perfume was dedicated by the perfumer to his beloved wife. The complexity of this scent and the quality of the natural oils used in this is undeniably remarkable. Smells very intense, rich and deep, it’s surprisingly long lasting for being mostly a big floral bouquet. It could be the base notes: myrrh, labdanum, sandalwood and musk that boost the persistence of the florals and rounds up the entire composition. I had the pleasure to try his creations when I have visited Perfumology store in Milan, where I have discovered his brand! I have left the store with Sakura, but now I feel sorry for not picking up a bottle of this as well. It surprises me how under the radar and how good quality perfumes Lucien Ferreo has and nobody acknowledges him and his perfumes in 2024.

Very delicate, feminine scent. Almost angelic. The opening is a very realistic and fragrant cloud of hyacinth, fresh and green, soon followed by a friendly, sweet tuberose that does wonders in mellowing the fresh but vaguely astringent qualities of hyacinth and blending it seamlessly to the creamy sandalwood drydown. A sandalwood drydown is always gorgeous, and this is no exception. The creamy/musky base notes also help the fragrance evolving into something warmer, less virginal. Performance is adequate, as expected from realistic floral notes. Of course, the woody/musky/resinous drydown is going to stay on the skin longer. I would say the floral notes last around 5 hours, while the drydown will still cling faintly to the skin after a whole night. Sillage starts moderate and gets intimate as hours go by.

So beautifully feminine. A very classy and delicate soft green white floral. I can feel a pure, innocent jasmine, hyacinth, tuberose, but they are all far away from those indolic, lush floral bombs, these are just heavenly and seem so dewy, misted and natural. Smells like an effortless bouquet of real flowers somewhere in the nature, very early in the morning dew. Potentially, a graceful perfume for an elegant bride. This is how Odette from the Swan Lake would smell like. It reminds me of those old school lily of the valley perfumes, but this is much more restrained. Oh, I am enchanted. This is what I imagined Estee Lauder's Pleasures would smell like. I have no words, I am so moved by this perfume, Par Amour Pour Elle is pure poetry. It is and ode to femininity and love for women. +

Powdery musk white floral... Beauty in a bottle... Cotton musk, neroli, delicate jasmines, orange blossoms, tuberose, bits of carnations, hycinth, cassis, and powdery Bulgarian rose. This is like a rosy white floral soap with its delicate ancient English style scent. Beautiful.

Musky creamy ultra-feminine tuberose (no surprises, it's written on the bottle). Very nice, but does it brings anything new to the table? I don't think so.
