King of Seduction Absolute

This is my third review on Antonio Banderas King of Seduction Absolute because it is very different on your skin. It is and a scent that changes the questions when you figures out the answers. For the longest time I thought it wasn't an Invictus clone because it was darker than Invictus is. I didn't figure out King of Seduction until a later Invictus flanker, Invictus Intense. To me, this is stronger and darker than the original like Invictus Intense is. The performance is weird and inconsistent with King of Seduction Absolute. It can last anywhere from 6 to maybe 9 hours on my skin. This is about a workday, this is compared to Invictus' damn near beast mode of 10+ hours. Projection is nice but it isn't Invictus' beast mode at all lasting about two hours moderately. What is consistent is that this works between spring and even fall both day and night though depending To me, the scent of King of Seduction Absolute is much more stronger on the seas scent. Not that it's a bad thing, but it is just a different scent that if you were expecting Invictus. Instead it has some grapefruit upon opening but has pomelo and almond while missing is Invictus' bayleaf. The mid is HEAVY with the sea water scent with some salt and lavender. The base is mostly leather with a slight vetiver. To me, the mid and base is what gives me the Invictus Intense feel in King of Seduction Absolute. I have to give King of Seduction Absolute credit for being a very different scent to the Invictus dupes. There have been a lot to come out around the time of Absolute whether what it is a flanker of King of Seduction, Azarro Wanted Montblanc Legend Spirit, Jimmy Choo Man Intense, Coach for Men, etc. We can all think of many Invictus dupes. This does enough to some what stand out in the pack, even if performance is a problem. For me the performance issues and how Antonio Banderas King of Seduction Absolute is inconsistent is its problem in this overall great scent. I want to rate it 8.5 out of 10 but due to the performance not wanting to dial in, I got to go 8.2 out of 10. I still love King of Seduction Absolute and it stands out to King of Seduction and is a flanker to that with little related to the grandfather flanker (Blue Seduction) but for what it does, there are better options in the Invictus genre out there and that would be the only reason I would not get King of Seduction Absolute again.

Ever since The Secret - Night was discontinued I have been looking for something similar. It had a fresh scent but with a dark herbal, almost woody undertone. It truly was a great smell. Luckily there are plenty of options in the Antonio Banderas house of scents. The first thing you will notice is the aromatic, herbal and citrusy burst. It quickly calms down and you are left with the herbal and woody tones. For what its worth, the smell doesn't last long after 3 hours but repeated use can compensate for that. Plus at $20 a bottle on Ebay you can't really go wrong. This is best used at night, during cool to lukewarm weather. Its not a straight aqua tone so i wouldn't waste it on a summer day in the heat or it would likely fade even faster. Probably great for romantic evenings or a first date impression, anyone who wants a fresh, masculine scent without a heavy musk should go for this one. If this is your first AB fragrance, I recommend The Secret. Its a lighter smell with a pleasant inoffensive tone that will likely garner praise. 8/10

FRESH-CLEAN FRUITY SLIGHTLY DARK-AQUATIC Starts off Fresh-Aquatic with mild bubblegum fruitiness (slightly synthetic); however as it dries the aquaticness remains but it get's a little more mature w/ darker freshness (probably the listed leather, vetiver, & wormwood notes) with the mild bubblegum fruitiness still lingering around; pretty linear fragrance not much depth but has that modern day blue/bleu aquatic "mass appeal". *definitely very similar smell to invictus (with aquatic-bubblegum like vibe) but not as bold nor same quality as invictus Projection/Sillage: GOOD; it's not a projection monster, but it's aromatic and definitely noticeable when initially sprayed for the first 2-3 hours then remains an in-close fragrance. Performance/Longevity: GREAT; will last on avg about 6-8 hours (double that on clothes).

This has nothing in common with Invictus. OK now, I'm a bit biased cause I love leathery fragrances and this one really clicked with me. Actually I find AB fragrances clicking with me (ok 2 of them actually, this one and Mediterraneo)So the smell is pretty nice, goes for almost all seasons and occasions. It's a cheapie but I really do think that it is a bang for the buck. It has pretty decent longevity, I sprayed myself at about 3PM, now it is 2AM and if I rub my neck I can smell it on my hand. Projectionwise, it projects for 2 to 3 hours. And btw I burn fragrances pretty fast so I think that the performance is pretty much ok

The color of bottle is really match with the scent. It's dark blue. It is similar to invictus but less sweet and more mature. I really like it. Has a very lovely scent with good price. and good projection and longevity. If you like invictus so go for it.

not GREAT projection and longevity but the smell is crazy good aquatic and sweet plus sexy for beach days for my first perfume it was a great experience

this is a great perfume. extremely long lasting and strong. smells like invictus. my favorite perfume.

Masculine, citrusy and decent silllage. Great for summer, 4.4/5 as my first fragrance, recommend it.

Its has very good Projection, good Silage, with a very good 5~6 hours longevity. The longest of the Seduction I've owned. *********************************** Best Invictus Clone, but less sweet *********************************** Do not smell like INVICTUS Intense Smell like INVICTUS (original) but less sweet Share 2016 INVICTUS AQUA Vibe, but less aquatic. I would say KoS Absolute lies somewhere between 2016 Invictus Aqua and 2015 Invictus original.

King of Seduction by AB is good. As with most of the AB fragrances I've tried, performance is dismal, but it smells nice. KOS, in my opinion, deserves the hype that Blue Seduction gets. King of Seduction has a youthful, bright opening without steering into childish territory, and is appropriate for professional settings. The fragrance is consistent, and I personally don't get any leather or oakmoss as listed in the base notes. I wish it projected more off of skin; however, at the price point, I might be asking for too much. Overall, a nice fragrance to have in your wardrobe but nothing extravagant or "seductive".

It's a fresh and clean fragrance, but subtle. Grapefruit, pomelo and salty marine notes. I can feel a bit of sweetness, maybe it's the green almond. It goes the way of Invictus but it's different, it doesn't have that bubblegum sweetness. It lasts 3 hours on my skin. It fades very quickly. The projection is close to the skin. I prefer Absolute more than the original King of Seduction. The 200ml bottle is fine for daily use and hot weather, I recommend getting a refillable travel decant for reapplying. Batch code 202111.

Perfect price, bang for your bucks. It is fresh and clean, with some of the invictus bubblegum vibes going on at the background. It is less sweet compared to Invictus and there are some boozy, leathery, woody backtones throuhgout the scent. I wish this would be an EDP, tho. Performance sadly lacks but frequently spraying or overspraying works. Anywhere, anytime, masculine aquatic.

You want to smell clean but not sharp - you spray this on. I wouldn't go so far as to say it's a statement maker but King of Seduction Absolute is a very memorable fragrance in spite of being an aquatic freshie, still, it's a casual wear but not very boring, toned down more like and not without body. Overall I think "nice" is a good way to describe it.

It's a very pleasant masculine scent with a very harsh and loud opening. After half an hour or so it calms down until the end, about 3-4 hours later. Moderate projection and longevity. I like it but it's not enough to buy a bottle. I didn't found it like Invictus which I hate and it's completely different from Bleu de Chanel edt. I have both.

Perfect teenager fragrance. In a classroom its very nice, sometimes i could smell it on myself too. I got some compliments with it. It smells very clean and fresh and good for it’s price. The cap is very cheap and the bottle can get a little nasty fast but it’s good ig. I’d say its a 7/10

It's similar to Invictus legend, not the regular Invictus. I recently got Lattafa Hayaati and Maison Alhambra Victorioso Myth, and I can tell King of Seduction is more similar to Victorioso Myth, which is an Invictus Legend inspiration.

Smells like paco Rabanne Invictus, with less sillage and longativity. Pure casual wear , recommended for work and morning casual outing. Age : teenagers and late 20s

My boyfriend loves it! I gave it to him as a present and it's his signature for this summer.It's smells so marine and fresh, plus it has a lovely sillage.

Its smells good and is nice for everyday use, but it's langsting really short. I would say its really budget friendly marine eau de toilette.

King of Seduction Absolute - Fierce - Mont Blanc Legend - Bentley Azure - Davidoff Champion, all with similar sharp edgy vibe.

I like it as nothing special, but my wife hates it. So where does that leave the median?

Another blind buy for me. Some Youtubers talk wonders about this one, so I decided to pick it up for only $15 on discounters. I really wanted to like it, however after using it a few times I realized that this one is not the right fit for me. KOSA has got bucket loads of pomelo and grapefruit in the opening, that pretty much never goes away. Often compared to Invictus, it totally makes sense that feels like a fragrance more suitable for a younger crowd, students and people with a very active lifestyle. I'm 46 and I spend most of my time in the office or in client meetings, where this frag wouldnt be a good match. It is also very unidimensional, it doesn't evolve much. I am planning to give it away to my 12 yr old nephew, I am sure he will enjoy it more than I do!

This is a lot like invictus aqua... not the same, but pretty close. This is a summer / spring frag . Drydown has a wood thing going on for sure ; which I don't know if I'm huge on . Its longevity isn't bad for an AB frag ; probably among the better of the bunch at 4-6 hrs on my skin. I also have Victorioso myth, or legend and this isn't the same to my nose - I prefer the bubblegum / sweetness of the victory legend clone and I don't think this is even close to being that complex. This is more traditional and common. To me this is ALOT like invictus aqua, which I also own and enjoy. Good cheapy for the money ; I would give this a 7/10.

I don't get how everyone is comparing this to Invictus. To me this is much closer to Fierce and Legend. I found the regular king of seduction closer to Invictus. That one is brighter and sweeter whereas this is darker. I have blue seduction as well and this is probably my least favorite. Still wearable just not what I was expecting reading these reviews. Performance is terrible on all of them though. Even with 5-7 sprays, they fade to a skin scent after 1-2hrs. Will keep and use but not be buying any again for that reason.

Nose Note #322 For me it took some serious mind work to see the connection with Invictus or Invictus Aqua. Both are noticeably sweet whereas this is not sweet at all to me. Yes, it's citrusy and aquatic, but in a soapy way. Honestly, it just reminds me of some soap bar... Nothing very distinct about it. Pleasant, inoffensive, a little boring. At least performance is decent.

Yes the perfume is good on the price point, but the overall performance is very below average, doesn’t have any longevity which remains there for 30min-1hr and starts fainting afterwards, no matter how many sprays you do. Literally even if you spray the whole bottle on your skin or clothes it will disappear like it never existed.

It's actually a love from me - it's surprisingly good. This juice opens with a citrus/laundry/marine vibe. Dries down slightly woody. It IS like Cerruti 1881 Sport and, I think, this is nicer. It's a decent juice for a cheap price, the performance is good and a great juice for the Summer months.

Extremely good for teenagers, my first cologne as a teen, generic but you will smell "clean"

I have the original Invictus, Aqua & Intense. This a nice similar scent. But it's its own thing. If you want to impress anyone with this scent... You must spray it on yourself within five minutes of meeting them. After a half hour...this is just above the skin. The projection on this isn't great(A foot away from you at best), but for the price. You can reapply whenever needed, just carry a Travel Atomizer with you. This is a mature masculine scent, sweet, a bit bitter with an aquatic feel. But if someone is in your personal space aka your scent bubble...You'll get a puzzled look and a question of what you're wearing and the compliment. It's Invictus Aqua-ish...which is perfect right now for NYC hot 80 plus degree weather. Green, Aquatic, lite scents are a must right now. Riding the subway to work...SMH. You need a buffer against other people body odor, that's making pick up skills...like holding your breath for ten minutes. Because the funk is real...sad to say. I used nine sprays...both wrist, behind my ears, back & front of my neck, chest, front and back of my shirt. Will I buy this again?...Yes. The smell is okay, but probably obnoxious to everyone around you. Just a cheapy. Decent value, great atomizer.

Fragrance -King of Seduction Absolute Antonio Banderas Bottle from - 2017 Absolute opens on my skin with a bit unusual,green,salty, ozonic,fresh and slightly spicy citruses with dominant grapefruit mingled with a herbal,aromatic and creamy lavender. As time goes by,he becomes more leathery,earthy and mossy but with a strong presence of lavender. Longevity - 7/10(6-7 hours) Silage/Projection - 6,5/10(moderate projection for the first 1 hour,than sits closer to skin for the duration of the scent's evolution) Weather - For more or less any time of year.Best in early autumn,spring and summer.I personally wouldn't wear this on a really cold winter days. Age - 25+ Compliments - 6/10 Scent - 6,5/10 Main notes according to me - lavender,marine notes,ozonic notes,citruses,cardamom,leather. The drydown is leathery,earthy and mossy and I get some leather,vetiver,moss,lavender and spices. Emotions -unusual yet fresh,sensual,dark vibe elegance. I'm surprised by the negative reviews of this fragrance. It has a pleasant aroma that lifts my spirits. The scent boasts a strong citrus opening, followed by an oily-spicy, leathery, and tart drydown. It's incredibly long-lasting, recognizable even the next day. On blotters, it outlasted Trussardi, Chanel Bleu, both Egoists, Fahrenheit, Fahrenheit Aqua, Fahrenheit Absolute, and several Guerlains. King was still easily identifiable a week later when all the others had vanished. It's a real pleasure to experience its lingering leathery and tart notes on clothes. This fragrance is versatile, suitable for any season and occasion. I highly recommend it and always keep a bottle in my collection.

This morning i went to the near fragrance store and always want it to test Antonio Banderas fragrances then i spot this one King of Seduction,i have to say this is fantastic scent early in the morning smelling something like this it is priceless...It has been already more then 4h since i had one spray on my wrist and even after few times washing my hand i stl got pretty nice strong scent,i m not sure why they reminds me on Bvlgary Aqua but it is much better then Bvlgary... Scent 10/10 Longevity 8/10 Sillage 8/10

@Nostro200 YOU are the problem, it's your body chemistry that messes with scents, because of bad dieting, stop eating from the plant world! Secondly, don't spray on skin, it's bad for you, and is just smart marketing to tell you to do so, so that you'll use more product = Profit!!! Instead a single or two sprays on a t-shirt will last you a minimum 24 hours, depending on the fragrance, and fabric, it can last weeks and even handle a trip in the washing machine

The smell is great!, really masculine. Is great for office or gym. The scent is kind of unique It does not remind me to invictus. It reminds me to ambercrombie fierce. And like this one more than that one. Cons: too much alcohol . They need to turnit it down a little - longevity is decent I only paid 15us so for the price is great

MBTI: ENTP cockroach Eau Nivea roll-on deodorant. Still, very nice and pleasant, almost sexy, and doesn't choke me out in 36*C+ humid heat. 🫧🏖️ As it melts away it leaves behind this faint, salty smell reminiscent of body heat, the seaside, hugs and mint. Not my type of fragrance in winter, but exactly my type in the summer. ✨👀

Before getting into the world of perfumes, I didn’t really care much about scents. I would just buy something that smelled nice in the mid-price range and move on. Back then, I used Antonio Banderas fragrances for a long time. This perfume was one of those too. Really good for its price.

This Perfume is best for casual wear.It is not sweet nor fresh its in between.I can smell the guava notes.Definitely suited for young men.It gives a dark vibe.Its better to try it before you buy because its not a fragrance that everyone might love.

Great smell and performance , to me this is the best AB fragrance , i like Blue Seduction too! I even like more AB KING OF SEDUCTION ABSOLUTE than Invictus (I have both and they are similar)

Smells youthful,fresh and uplifting,similar to Invictus. I actually prefer this over Invictus-it's more natural smelling and also cheaper.

Get Blue Seduction for half the price and SAME non existent longevity. I mean, for such low longevity you cant pay more than 15€ per 200ml
