Tempted Muse

I was lucky to get a sample of this the other day. It is really juicy sensual scent! Starts off citrusy happy grapefruit then right into an amalgam of sweet bright florals, I get mainly frangipani, jasmine rose, blended smoothly throughout juicy fruits!! Amazing summer scent, tempted to call this my Tropical Muse ;) The base takes the transition from the light airy rose into a rose with a lusty vanilla, tonka, sandalwood and a hint of musk. Incredibly sensual but in an unassuming way; sparkling happy fruits, saturated in a way that can only be likened to the joy of summer. I like that it is so multifaceted with a rainbow of sparkling florals and juicy fruits combined a sensual base all while remaining somewhat discreet (reamins fairly close to body) However, if you catch a waft of this, or someone is close to your neck, they will want to bite you, it is sensory bliss- spoiler alert ;) OK time for yoga! Breeeeeathe this in with deep inhales! Mmm!!!

I tested a sample. I love this scent! For a natural, it has nice lasting power. I just got a slight waft and it's been 8 plus hours. It is a fruity floral bomb. Settles down to a delicious fruity skin scent. Oh, how I wish it were less expensive, but I respect the cost of natural ingredients. For now I had to purchase two more samples to be sure before I go for the full bottle. This is the closest to MCMC's Pheonix that I found in a natural (sadly MCMC's aldehydes give me a headache). Tempted Muse is one delicious scent!

Love this! Very feminine, fruity, tuberose, jasmine, grapefruit sweet, voluptuous blast of a perfume, with a touch of sandalwood in the dry down. Am going to buy a full bottle.

Citrus and tuberose opens this scent up and in theory it shouldn't work, but it does! This perfume sparkles on the skin with floral and fruity wafts hitting you, magical!

Every blind buy is a lesson on the never-ending journey of finding holy grail/signature scents and I am so happy that there are now ways to buy samples at reasonable prices rather than throwing hundreds of dollars away on scents that make me recoil on a molecular level. Tempted Muse is just one such scent and solidifies my intense dislike of ylang-ylang and frangipani. Smells like spoiled fruit and urine to my nose and although disappointed that I can't enjoy it as others here do, I'm glad to have smelled it so I know what notes to avoid from here on in.
