Aariz L’Absolu

I love this perfume. It is very unique in my collection. Loving the strong nutty-cinnamony note to it. It leans a little more masculine to me as I am used to fruity-floral scents, but this is something I wear only on select occasions, especially when I want to impress! I would keep a backup as they are hard to come by!

This one is slightly hard to describe. It's almond-ambery-vanilla, but... goey? It has a certain very powdery characteristic to it that makes it smell "thick". If you have ever smelt Guerlain's L'Instant Magic (I've added it to the "similar" field), it has that same quality... maybe it's the almond? They are actually somewhay similar, but L'Instant Magic calms down and then there's suddenly a burst of flowers, which this doesn't have. Instead this becomes like... way, or even play-doh. I don't like it. I can't smell any rose, and no tonka either. It's definitely not citrucy... not woody either. Gourmand, definitely feminine - I would find it a little strange if a man wore this. Can't agree with the review below. Gourmand: yes. Cherry: absolutely not. Seems to be a description of Aariz Intense, not Aariz l'Absolu.

Scent: Great scent and great fragrance. Like I stated below in my first impressions, this is a very powdery fragrance. It will definitely remind you of almond scented baby powder with hints and traces of vanilla. If you don't like those types of fragrances, then please steer far away from this one lol. You get hit with that powdery almond when you first Spray and it's there to stay throughout the whole fragrance. After a while you start getting the hints of that vanilla and cinnamon. The fragrance, imo, stays pretty much linear after that. It's a great scent, but unisex imo. Although it leans somewhat feminine, I still see it as a Unisex fragrance. But for those that dislike powdery Scents, don't get this one. Great Scent overall Performance: Now, this is where the fragrance really disappointed me, unfortunately. The fragrance starts off really loud when first applied, but after an hour, it becomes very close to the skin, and by the 2nd hour, it's already somewhat of a skin scent. Yes, during those first 30mins the fragrance is really pushing and far, might even fill a room. But after those 30mins it becomes Arms length, which is not bad, but for it to turn into a skin scent by the 2hr mark? Nah, that's not cool with me. Keep in mind that this fragrance is also pricey for a dupe/ME fragrance. It's $50-$60 in some U.S. websites. Not bad, but for that Performance? It's not worth it. I will test it out again to see if maybe I was going noseblind or something, but I doubt it. Longevity was also Avarage. I got about 6hrs, with it turning into a complete skin scent by the 4hr mark. Seasons: Fall & Early Spring first this one. I personally think it's too cloying for hot days and too weak for winter. Update: So this fragrance is definitely not performing on me tbh. This literally turns into a skin scent on me after an hour, which is a shame, because it does smell good.

Aariz L’Absolu -Arabiyat is a warmly sensual fragrance experience. Not “Arabian” as most would call it, based on its origins, and certainly not gourmand regardless of what the Pyramid notes would have you think! Aariz L’Absolu starts out with a moderate to bright introduction of top notes, Almond flavor, reminiscent of flavoring in marzipan/ almond paste not the Almond nut; gentle cinnamon and soft mandarin. Nothing comes across as “Bombastic” in the opening. Aariz quickly softens down to a very well blended powdery scent as the mid-notes of rose, orange blossoms and amber open. So soft and well blended the mid-notes are hard to discern individually. It’s not a powdery fragrance bomb at this point but more of a billowy, voluminous waft as you move about. You want to smell it even more. The orange blossoms are the dominant mid-note to me. With the sillage so lush & full, you just want to share it with someone, but don’t rush, savor the revery of the powdery notes as the seductive trio of Tonka, Sandalwood & warm Vanilla make their way to the grand finale. Even more powdery! Absolutely stunning! Aariz turned into a skin scent at about 2.5-3 hours. It’s still a joy to sniff at this point, softly reminiscent of when this golden elixir first meets skin. Aariz L’Absolu is unapologetically beautiful, uber feminine, (I think it’s too powdery for a man) and a modern definition of a truly sexy fragrance. The bottle, like the fragrance adds the perfect finishing touches to an exquisitely crafted delight!

First Impressions: So I bought 3 samples of this fragrance to test it out, and I'm not disappointed. I still have not applied it on Skin, but did a few sprays in the air and on paper. This is a good fragrance! It smells nice and pleasing, and up my alley. However this might disappoint some if they're looking for a Gourmand. I know some websites list it as a Gourmand, but imo it's not one. This fragrance is very, very, very powdery. It's like Almond scented baby powder with hints of vanilla and citrus. That's basically what you're gonna get in the air. On Paper, you really don't get the Vanilla or citrus, just the powderiness of the Almond. Now, the fact that this is very powdery might disappoint some men or those that dislike powdery fragrances. For me, it's alright. It does to an extent lean somewhat feminine, but not by a lot. I still believe it's Unisex. Now, with those few sprays I Sprayed in the air it was enough to fill my room for a few hours, even with the A.C. on. The scent really never went away from my room during those few hours. So this is a very strong fragrance.
