Rumiel

Instant addiction! This one is unique, at least in my collection. There isn't one offensive or screechy note, and that's from the first spray. Speaking of the first spray, the atomizer could eradicate mosquitos. I do smell banana, and not that candy kind. But the way it's blended, no note really takes the spotlight. Maybe this is more like warm banana bread fresh from the oven. Strangely, this can even pass for a sweet pipe tobacco scent. This one is cozy. Cuddling is to be expected. That said, I've yet to determine whether I'm going nose blind. I don't notice many wafts of fragrance throughout the day after an hour or 2. I have no idea whether it projects or leaves a trail. I'll give it another full wearing today, but would like to know how performance is for others.

Rum spiked tropical Chai latte, Slightly earthy fresh in the drydown from the patchouli but very sweet throughout the entirety of its life span. Overwhelmingly boozy and spice forward when first sprayed on but calms down within 5 minutes, the banana then reaveals itself alongside vanilla and a milky, creamy heart. Very interesting scent and I cant say I have gotten my nose on many fragrances like this before. Brings back memories of baking with Grandma on a Sunday morning.

Astonishingly beautiful creamy fruity delight. Niche level, stunning bottle, super affordable, good performance. WOW. Edit: tried Nanatopia which was stickier and more candy in the opening, and unbearably screechy in the dry down, with none of the creamy texture of Rumiel. Absolutely get this instead.

I had a decant of this one and instantly i oredered a full bottle, so sweet and spicy, so sexy, if u like L’interdit Rouge i think u would like this one too, same vibe

You can find this fragrance with two different sets of notes, the one listed above and the one below: Top notes: pink pepper, cloves, coffee Middle notes: cedarwood, sandalwood, maple rum Base notes: cooked [caramelized] sugar, amber, dry vanilla, leather So, more of a Drunk Maple dupe. Both lists have rum notes, but Rumiel sounds boozy to me. I was really hoping this one was the actual one, considering there are some marketing materials (images of the product) from the brand with the following description (and another one a bit longer, along the same lines): „Every drop carries duality – the heat of spice and coffee, the depth of woods and rum, the sweetness of amber and sugar melting into vanilla leather. It's a fragrance that flows like liquid emotion – smooth yet untamed, dark yet luminous.“ Well, it's the banana... at least for my batch, which is from 09/2025. Still, it's quite possible there are two versions out there. Or, there was a change of heart at the last minute, but it does not explain the release of marketing material for a completely different scent profile. Being intentionally deceptive here? Sure, blind-buying is never risk-free, but one has rightfully different expectations when ordering an ice cream or a coffee. *** So, the fragrance: the banana note is actually perceptible – a very ripe banana, but there are also some leafy nuances present. Spices, with a trace of coffee, smooth the edges and transition. Initially I get more cinnamon, but nutmeg stays around for longer. Patchouli is also there from the start, but it must be fractionated because I don't find it off-putting. It quickly steps in the background, taking more of a supporting role, giving some depth to the scent. It blends well with tonka and vanilla (quite restrained here). The sweetness in more fruity (berries), rather than straight vanilla. In the drydown only some trace of banana leaves (and nutmeg) remains, while raspberry takes the lead and adds a mix of syrupy sweetness and a touch of tart freshness. But it comes and it goes... Despite the name, the rum note is not very prominent, it's not a typical boozy scent, just slightly aromatic, like rum used in cakes. I find it more feminine leaning. And, surprisingly, quite wearable (most of the time*, unlike so many gourmand fragrances), but probably more suitable for the colder season. *On some days I find its sweetness acceptable, on others I feel it requires layering. Time will tell, in worse case scenario I will keep it for the bottle ;). Because I already have Royal Blend Sequoia (liquorish raspberry scent), which I prefer to this one. Overall, it's not bad, it performs well, doesn't need to 'mature', and it doesn't smell synthetic cheap either. Even the bottle looks really nice. But I doubt I will give this brand another chance.

I just got it.. No Banana.... Its.. theirry mugler pure havene/xerjoff Naxos/rayhan Italia... If u buy it that's what ull get.... I'm disappointed I was expecting a banana scent for men... Wit this one I can honestly say don't trust the content creators with this no Banana cake vibes at all... More like a sweet tobacco... Maybe after maturation I might get the banana cake vibes but I dought it
