Al Dirgham Special Edition

Very similar to Liquid Brun, except Al Dirgham doesn't have as much push of orange blossom, more so pistachio. I don't think the notes listed are correct.

This is more than well received by my female colleagues in our office.

The poster that described this as vanilla root beer absolutely hit the nail on the head! 👏 That is EXACTLY what it smells like to my nose! I usually pass on scents I find too masculine on to my husband, but this one is different. I do not find it masculine, per se. It’s definitely a unisex scent. I haven’t tried liquid brun or the pdm one. As a female, I don’t mind a unisex fragrance and this one may grow on me once it matures. It’s just so different from any fragrance I have in my collection! So much so, I am unsure if I like or or am just mystified by it! I don’t understand it at this point and I will have the hubs try it and see what his chemistry does to it. I’m not sure I want to smell like a root beer float topped with pepper. I’m waiting to see what the final dry down will bring. I’ll update in a couple months and see what the maturation process does to this.

The opening is not the best part of the range but as the scent develops it gets better and better. The drydown that comes about an hour later is truly beautiful. I have never tried Althair or its other known clones so I can't make comparisons but Al Dirgham is a great fragrance 10 minutes after the first spray plus, you get 20ml extra juice in a small package that's very practical. Ultimately it's a very good perfume but not excellent so 8.5/10

Nose Note #375 To me this smells just like caramel cornballs... A cornball powerhouse. Corn big time. Not a fan at all. It's likeable, but definitely niche. Not for everyone. At all

Love changed to aversion. After few "honeymoon" days with 'Liquid Brun', 'Art of Nature II' and 'Al Dirgham Special Edition Ard Al Zaafaran' that share the same DNA I started to smell something harsh there. In all three at the same time. Later ordered sample of 'Monarque Armaf' (the same DNA) only confirmed that. I do not know what it is exactly but I assume it's orange blossom that I started to recognize more intensivelly and started to irritate me (in 'Liquid Brun' the least)

Really loved this at first then the smell started to remind me of rootbeer and creamy due to the pistachios so kinda like a pistachio ice cream rootbeer float good dose of cinnamon and vanilla was one of my favorites now just really good id recommend for anyone just starting out that wanted a gourmand thats cheap but not cheap smelling 8/10

I almost purchased this instead of Art of Nature II or Liquid Brun, but upon testing for a second time the intense alcohol opening and vanilla root beer dry down turned me off. It is still good, but personally I couldn’t get over the root beer similarity.

Headache inducing althair dupe. Please dont do more than 3 sprays max

#1589 in my "Tour de Fragrance" Got this as a sprayette from scentswithsense.com for $4.99. Glad I didn't blind buy it. I've spent most of my career zipping around the world, running between gates at airports, no time to sit down for meals, going to meetings in cities where you weren't safe from food poisoning in even the top-rated restaurants. So you learn to take snacks. Fruit and nut bars are a staple. "Lara" bars and "Kind" bars are in every US airport knick knack shop, and I'd load up on them, especially if I were going out of the country. This fragrance initially smelled like those fruit and nut bars, but in a couple of minutes I was scrubbing this stuff off in the sink. I can't speak to longevity. Whatever it is is too much. As for silage, this is nauseating at arm's length. Cheap, synthetic fruitiness like "Pop Rocks" and peanuts. Plus something about this triggered a sneezing fit, which usually happens to me with cheap synthetic fruit notes like the nasty synthetic bergamot oil some low-price fragrances makers use. This is disgusting and going straight in the garbage. Avoid it.

if this is how althair/liquid brun smell, i genuinely don't understand how this dna got fragrance of the year award
