Narcissus Obsession In Bloom

I was worried this started off a bit feminine, as the white florals are edging powdery. But once this had a bit of time to settle, a naughty spice starts to appear which makes this a little bit more wearable on a man. As a man, if you’re brave enough, you can absolutely pull this off with confidence. Seems to last for ages on skin and has pretty good projection! It’s intoxicatingly addictive - found myself copping a smell of the back of my hand all day. Personally, I really love this and class it unisex, but I can understand that without a confident wearer, people would think this is more feminine leaning. Argos don’t miss though, and this is a beautiful fragrance, beautiful bottle and beautiful box art. Stunning.

A beautiful floral blend that suffers from mediocre performance. The tuberose and narcissus overpowers the rest of the notes or I might say "stand out the most" as the rest is noticable but acts more like a base and foundation for the two mentioned notes. The opening gave me a strong vibe of my favourite Amouage Woman line scent, The Amouage Honour 43 Woman and aside from that I think this is a perfect unisex floral scent. Maybe the performance will get better once it oxidizes and sits a bit on the shelf, we'll see. I'd say it's a super blind buy safe all year rounder that you simply can't go wrong with as long as you like white floral fragrances. Give it a try and you won't be disappointed.

I am once again back to smelling another new Argos fragrance, suprise suprise. I was curious about this one, despite not being a huge fan of florals. To start, this fragrance leans feminine and the opening to me is both somehow nice but also odd because for me. The opening comes off surprisingly thick, syrupy and sweet but not overly sweet. I'd describe the opening as having a... nectar quality if that makes sense and if im honest it makes me a bit nauseous. Definitely not a scent profile Im used to and the blend for this is nowhere near the same as any of Argo's other floral dominant fragrances in my opinion. As for the drydown. I'd say that's where this fragrance shines. The opening fades and the yellow florals, sandalwood and vanilla come out and play together really well. It's a very nice scent profile and to me it smells sophisticated although I don't exactly get the spring vibes. Throughout this stuff stays pretty dense but if you live some place where spring is actually still relatively cold... this would work great. Longevity is long lasting and this stuff sticks around all day. It has great projection and will easily fill a room within the first hour upon spraying. All in all. Its a decent fragrance but I'm personally not a big fan of the overall scent profile and I just dont see myself ever wanting to wear this. As always, dont blind buy, get a decant and try it if you're interested in it.

For a niche styled fragrance, this one is very nice and easy to like. It's almost feminine in it's approach as sophisticated florals dance in the opening of this fragrance. It's a bit thick, a bit syrupy... it's gotta be those cloves and tuberose giving the fragrance a richness that stops this one from being a truly springtime fragrance- it's a little too heavy for that. It's almost like a springtime fragrance decided it wanted to become a winter fragrance, so it borrowed some notes from it's cousin or older sibling and changed it's style for the weekend... but you can still tell it for what it is, a floral freshie. As I smell it on my wrist, I keep forgetting that I'm smelling an Argos frag.

Very heavy on the ylang ylang with an almost cheesy undertone. Not what I’d expected at all. I really dislike this one. It’s scrubber for me! Overbearing and headache inducing.

Why are people so obsessed with defining every fragrance as "masculine" or "feminine" like damn, just wear what you want and what you like. All of you constantly convince yourself that anything sweet or floral is for women and anything woody and spicy is for men THANK YOU MARKETING TEAMS. Shit is annoying. This is a MASCULINE fragrance just to piss you off. Now buy a sample, you either like it or you don't. It's not a "panty dropper" or "banger" or any other below surface level adjective you can come up with in your small minded vocabulary.

Not a bad fragrance by any stretch and contrary to popular opinion, I don't feel as though this leans feminine heavy. That being said, it strangely reminds me of cheap bathroom cleaning supplies or the residuals of a freshly cleaned public bathroom. Performance seems to be decent but overall, this isn't full bottle worthy for me.

Im obsessed with these notes, Valentine cant get here fast enough
