Sweet Like Candy Limited Edition

Very similar to Sweet Like Candy with some subtle differences. Sweet Like Candy would be the younger more innocent sister, while the limited edition would be the older more sultry sister. While the original is more subtle and closer the the skin, I personally find the limited edition to be a little bit more pronounced and not so subtle. I find the limited edition to be a little sweeter because of the red berries and the amber note. Upon first spray I was super disappointed as I thought I had purchased Sweet Like candy only in a red bottle. I sprayed both wrists and after going back and forth between the two I began to notice very subtle differences between them. I personally find the original more of a skin scent and it's more light while the limited is that bit more intense. Also some of the notes differ making the scent smell different and develop differently on the skin. I get better lasting power out of the limited edition, which hits around 5 hours while SLC hits about 3-4 on my skin. I love Ariana Grande and all her fragrances and I adore the look of the bright red bottle and Pom Pom so I wanted to get it anyway so it's not a big deal to me that they aren't drastically different as I can appreciate the small tweaks that have been made. I don't know if I have mentioned it or not but out of SLC original and SLC Limited edition I like the limited edition the best.

A lot of “limited edition” perfumes are identical to the original scent, just in a different bottle. That is not the case with this one. It’s still extremely similar! 90% or so the same...but not exactly. This one smells less gourmand with less of a whipped cream smell and some juicy red berries thrown on top. The red berries note here smells just like the berries in Britney Spears “Radiance.” Gorgeous, juicy red berries note. Not tart sour ones. It’s a beautiful scent. Going for $100+ on EBay and I was lucky enough to find a full, brand new bottle for like $23. I actually think I prefer this to the original...however...my favorite scent of hers is still her debut scent “Ari.” I have every single perfume she has released with the exception of Thank You, Next. I even own Frankie which also has a beautiful smell, just doesn’t perform. So all in all...is this one worth $100? No. But it’s definitely worth the $23 I paid for it, it’s gorgeous. I wish they made it in a 100ML bottle but they only make it in a 50ML unfortunately. Performance isn’t terrible. Moderate for sure. Longevity - 4 hours. Projection - About 3 feet. Overall Score - 8.5/10. Thumbs up Ariana. This is beautiful. Don’t stop producing it! It’s delicious.

I recently bought a 100ml tester of the origional sweet like candy on ebay, and it was quite cheap being a tester. So when I opened it up and the box said Limited edition, i thought " Weird, I'm pretty sure its not..oh well" And in the box, low and behold it was this red bottle! What a score! I mean, if i didn't want this one it would be inconvenient but I've looked for this in Oz and the price is ludicrous for a celeb fragrance, LE or not. So I thought that was quite a win for me lol. The fragrance itself is very similar to the original, but I actually find it's bolder with better longevity( then again, it is a tester) I get at least 4-5 hours before it mellows down to a skin scent. Its sweeter than the OG without that sharp fresh note; which i like so i wish it had more of that. I'm not sure how I feel about the bottle though, the soft pink is much prettier than the brash red but hey it's not really the bottle that i bought it for. All in all, a good buy, I like it a lot, the two are very similar but not exactly the same.

I wish I had known about this perfume when it was easily available. I did have to purchase this from eBay at a small markup, but I am so happy that I have it now because it was worth it. Luckily the bottle was an unused tester, so score! It's deliciously sweet, effortlessly sexy, and doesn't try to be anything that it's not. You could wear this every day and for any occasion since it's not overbearing at all, and even more mature folks could rock this. The sweetness is not too thick since it's balanced by the tangy black currant and citrus. I am in love with the honeysuckle and frangipani in this as well, two of my absolute favorites notes. The whipped essences make this intoxicating but without any kind of headache. It's perfectly balanced in my opinion, but definitely not boring. I may have to keep my eye out for another great deal on this as a backup because I would absolutely run through this if I wasn't so aware of it being a limited edition.

OMG this smells exactly like my childhood crying doll that had scented face. So amazing! It is completely not what I expected based on the notes but that scent was absolutely winning, calming, fascinating. Creamy with floral notes. So amazing to now have an entire bottle of this scent. I can barely believe it. I am either nose blind to it or it has such a delicate presence as if non existent when I wear it globally. It is certainly sweet and floral on me. But I would never guess the parts maybe only cashmere and whipped cream. Gorgeous doll scent though. Maybe hot spring day with summer temperature is not its forte. I am wearing it with 10+ sprays and finally I feel it. 3 hours in and it faded into drydown, but I love it anyway.

She genuinely needs to make this permanent. It’s better than most of her fragrances, especially some of her newer ones. Obviously has the SLC dna, but it is a lot warmer but not as sugary sweet. Can kinda remind me a bit of Jessica Simpsons Fancy, they dont smell the same just has a similar vibe to me. It’s fruitier without being overbearing or shampoo like, very creamy too. It also lasts and projects A LOT more than the og. This is a flanker done right, just hate that it’s LE and hard to get. Just an fyi, check fragrancenet occasionally bc that’s where i got mine and it was for $30. Do not go and buy it at those ridiculous prices ppl put out.

I absolutely LOVEEE this perfume so much! The original sweet like candy perfume was the first perfume I ever have an it will always be nostalgic and a top favorite for me, so when I bought this I wasn't expecting it to top the original but it definitely does. It's very similar to the original sweet like candy, but it's a lot creamier, the red berry not sort of replaces the blackberry note of the original, and it lasts way longer for me than the original. Unfortunately this perfume is a littttle hard to find, but if you find a good seller I'd 100% recommend getting this. Such a sweet gorgeous fruity fragrance.

I wish she made this a permanent scent. I adore this scent so so so so much. You can get it in the tiny bottles if you get the gift-packs with Ari, the OG, and Moonlight, and that is how I've tried this scent and had it so many times. This would be my signature if it was permanent and easily accessible. Its better than the original but the original has become one of my favorites also. It would be a dream of mine to own a huge bottle of this. I'll settle for Mod Blush and Sweet Like Candy as replacement tho. This projects more too. I love it. I miss it.

This smells incredible. Not really juvenile, despite being a sweet like candy flanker. Original slc is still very good but it sometimes smells photorealistic to blueberry cream cheese to me.. this on the other hand, is phenomenal and far from a bagel spread lol. Such a pretty smell. The only distinct note i can pick out is the red berries in the top notes and marshmallows/whipped cream and cashmere. i was a little hesitant to use this just because it was limited edition but i would rather it go to use than it just collecting dust on my shelf

I bought this off Amazon like about a year ago and till this day it has been my most beloved fragrance ever, Ariana really did it with this one and I just wish this was a permanent scent, it goes on more stronger than any other perfume I own of hers and even scent wise it’s the best thing I’ve ever smelt in any other perfume, if u are a sweet gourmand lover that doesn’t want a scent that’s juvenile I highly recommend this one!

Red berry fruit with sweet tarts. This is Sweet Like Candy's better sister as it is amazingly sweet and juicy. While SLC is uber sweet and slightly marshmallowy, this limited edition helps bring out the more fun flirtatious side with its amped up berry notes. It's a shame that this is not a permanent item as I find it the best out of the two. Definitely a crowd pleaser as well.

I prefer this to the original SLC, it smells a bit more sophisticated and I like it a lot. The red berries, bergamot and marshmallow are strongest to my nose. However, after 30mins I can barely smell it even if I get super close to my own skin. Bummer, I feel like Ari and Moonlight both have way better longevity, though they are also soft.

It’s better than the original. Has a nicer, stronger note with red berries. Wish it was a regular one. And the bottle is super cute. The whole idea of these bottles with pom poms is just amazing ! But please stop making limited editions. Super frustrating.

I fell in love with this scent when it was released and I’m beyond devastated by the fact that it was a limited edition. It smells like the older sister of Sweet Like Candy because it’s not as sweet and that’s what makes it my favorite scent by Ari ❤️

this has become my favorite of her entire line. I wish she would bring this back! Berries & marshmallows. slc dna for sure just a little deeper and more complex. I have feeling I’ll blow through this bottle. 10x better than the original.

I will never stop commenting about how insanely good this fragrance is, does Ariana know herself about how amazing of a perfume she has made?! She needs to bring back this flanker of sweet like candy asap!

I'm so happy I bought this over the OG. Love this candied perfume. Red berries take over most of the scent, with hints of marshmallow. Really cute scent that borders the line to sexy.

Juicy sweet red berries, with a very fresh and clean drydown. I love this scent. It lasts all day without being overbearing or growing stale (as many celebrity perfumes do).

In my opinion this smells like both the OG Sweet Like Candy and Ari. It’s the perfect mix if you like both like me I really enjoy these older AG fragrances.

Got this recently and it is way better than the original. So sweet, love it!

This edition of Sweet Like Candy certainly isn't something I think of as offensive, vulgar or anything negative, but it can't be called even a slightly original fragrance; to my nose this is pretty much the same as Sweet Like Candy [the SA actually warned me not to spend money on it if I have the original]. So I'll forewarn you that if you have Sweet Like Candy, then I don't think that there's any real point in tracking this version down... The name doesn't make a ton of sense to me, as it doesn't really scream "candy"; this fragrance is more fresh & fruity sweet, rather than an almost-edible sweetness. On me the strongest and longest notes are the berries, which last throughout the fragrance's wear. The sugar water that I guess is meant to be pear and the bergamot is fairly developed too, which gives the fragrance some energy over the original Sweet Like Candy. When the improved opening notes quieten down a bit, the fragrance goes back to the original's blue-print; I just get an impression of powder and vanilla, which is almost the same as both Ari and the original Sweet Like Candy on me. The only real difference to the original Sweet Like Candy is the Frangipani, which gives this edition a bit more umph in comparison to the original. Also; the long-wearing berry notes give the fragrance a bit more impact in comparison to the other pom-pom releases, as the [again, the same] woodsy marshmallow & cream base develops. The longevity and sillage aren't anything to shout about either - the perfume wears for around 4/5 hours and it goes close to the skin pretty quickly.

Seeing Sweet Like Candy is my all time favorite scent I was super excited when I found this on Amazon for a good price. Seeing it's a limited edition I figured it'd be ridiculously priced. I practically used my whole bottle of SLC in a month and have been hanging on to the last few drops left in my bottle while exploring other scents. I was planning on just going ahead & purchasing another bottle but seeing I found this I had hoped it would be a similar replacement. It is not. This is a whole different scent. Barely smells anything like my beloved SLC. I get a lot of musk and practically no marshmallow, which is a bummer because that's the main reason I love SLC so much. This actually smells more like Moonlight to me, but also sort of like Ari....It's like 50% moonlight, 20% SLC and 30% Ari. This definitely isn't as sweet as the original. The floral notes are much stronger and the cashmere & musk make this not as fluffy & soft. The projection & silliage is kinda weak which is surprising to me because her others all perform beautifully. Seeing I'm a big fan of Ariana's fragrances I'm happy to add this to my Ari collection (I'm only missing Frankie now). I will wear it because I do like it but it's just not a replacement for SLC. If you already have SLC, Moonlight or Ari you really don't need this one.

I recently purchased the original Ari fragrance and this one. I didn't realize that this was different from SLC I thought it was the same fragrance just a limited edition bottle! I had only quickly tested them and to be honest they smelled so much alike I didn't notice. I asked the sales lady if they were the same and she said they were just a different bottle so it must be quite similar. It is not the usual type of fragrance I go for, more so because I have a lot of sweet perfumes and they tend to take a long time for me to use and there are a lot of fragrances around like this especially in the celebrity perfume world. I would say I like it, if you like Fantasy then this is along the same lines. It is nothing groundbreaking but is nice and has a cute bottle.

I was surprised by this. At first the initial blast seems to be exactly Sweet Like Candy. Which is what one would expect I guess. After that a great juicy tartness comes out that makes it different. It almost smells like a mix is Ari and SLC but not as powdery. I would say it's different enough to own both. The only problem I had was the hideous red bottle. Looks nothing like the red in the picture which tbh is quite bad itself. The bottle looks almost like it was colored with red crayon... Overall I would enjoy have this one with he other two.

I was SO excited to get this. Sweet Like Candy is one of my favorite fragrances in my collection of 500+ bottles, and I never thought I'd get my hands on the Limited Edition for a good price, so I when I saw it was available on Fragrancenet, I bought 3 bottles. I'm not too impressed. I thought it would be like the original, but more like tart hard candies than the fluffy berry candy scent of the original. It kinda is that way, I guess, but really just reminds me of a lighter and slightly sharper Viva La Juicy Noir.

Just bought a used but almost full bottle of this one. The smell is very pretty but I think it's the poorest perfume I own in terms of sillage and longevity. Smells good for like 5 minutes, after that it disappears even if I baith in it (more than 20 sprays at least). Basically, very disappointing. I'm happy I only paid 10$ for that bottle. will use very quickly with the amount on sprays I use every time I use it.

This limited edition is not quite the same juice as the original Sweet Like Candy. It's very similar but here the florals are noticeable and it's a bit less sweet, though it's still a sweet perfume. I also get a powdery scent that I did not find in the original. I enjoy this very much. It's a really nice daytime, causal fragrance. Longevity is not the best but the fragrance is lovely.

Exact same thought as lauren.moss... Maybe the push is for Valentine's Day. But I do agree all I see is Christmas.

So this perfume I just got from jomashop for about $25. It’s a tester but besides that I think because this was released in 2017 and it was a limited edition, it’s definitely just a light skin scent for now. But it is nice. I’m almost positive that if I’d get it as if it was still being produced, it’d smell stronger. It’s very light and I give the projection 4/10. It’s still nice, although I do wish I didn’t get it and save my money or tried buying something else. I’ll just keep it to layer with other perfumes. Or when I want to just put something on and not smell too strong.

This smells exactly like any of the Nicki Minaj perfume flankers you’d find at Marshall's/TJMAXX/Burlington...like EXACTLY. 🤕 The original Sweet Like Candy is dramatically better and is a genuine fragrance icon in its own regard. This flanker isn’t necessarily bad by any means, just very dated; I’m never spontaneously yearning to smell like ambiguous 2014 Bath and Body Works body mist. 🫠 Honestly the only thing I prefer here is the eye catching red bottle and pom pom.😅

This is a perfect flanker to Sweet Like Candy! Its literally that fragrance but red berries instead of blackberry, its juicer and I find it much more interesting than the original. Now don’t get me wrong I like SLC but its a little one note on me, very powdery sweet, nice but much like Sweet Tooth's vibe it is very soft and makes more sense as a nighttime scent. I got this from leperfect, a seller I use all the time on ebay for 36$ I saw it for a good price and had to snap it up because after looking on here I just knew it was going to be fun and it is! If you can find it for an affordable price it is definitely a fruity sweet marshmallowy treat especially being limited edition for us collectors.

Im looking everywhere for a real review where someone has actually bought the perfume, tried it out and are sharing how it smells to them ..i cant find such a review around here or anywhere else...which is sad considering there are like ten reviews here but they dont give any info about what it actually smells like...if it smells just like Sweet like Candy original i do not want to spend $70 on this. If it does have a different type of vibe then i do want to to try it if anyone has tried it please leave a useful review describing the notes and everything...im so disappointed that out of all the reviews its just a bunch of people lamenting about a perfume they havent even tried yet!

They didn't have a tester available at Ulta so instead of buying a full bottle blind, I bought the three travel spray variety pack for $35 minus my Ulta redeemable points as I already love Ari and Sweet like candy. This set comes with a pink snap case for the travel perfume that is very handy as it keeps the cap from coming off in your purse thus prevent spillage accidents and can be used with other purse sprays too. The limited edition is much tarter due to the berries and lime but it has the same sweet middle notes. I'm glad I didn't get the full bottle as I prefer the less tart scent of the original but it's a good scent overall.

I found it to be more grown up than the other versions, definitely not as sweet either ! The amber warms it up, and whereas the other versions were all candy sweet and marshmallows, this offers a bit more complexity., it has a floral phase, then the warm base is also interesting !! the bottle isn't a bright red, more like red wine colored...pretty !! I was actually surprised with it, the first spray wasn't a blast of sugar like I expected !! Not as young as I thought it would be...would I wear it!? Not entirely sure, but overall nice surprise with this one !!

I'm a sucker for pink and red bottles, so the ones in the Sweet Like Candy range are honestly my idea of heaven. It's the Amber that (only slightly) separates the two perfumes. The red one is probably the oldest of the two sisters, and the nighttime version of the pink one. Other than that, these are quite similar to each other, but that's kind of what I was expecting. I really hope Ariana does more in the Sweet Like Candy line, if not only for the pastel paints on the bottles. (I'm hoping for a purple paint on the next one)

I purchased this under the impression that this was a completely different scent, but it's practically the same. This is a more less intense and less bold version of SLC, minus a note or two. This is just a SLC back up for me since they smell very similar in my opinion. I only paid $55 for it compared to other sellers who are charging $70+ for it, so i don't feel completely ripped off. Plus i wanted the bottle to complete my Ariana Grande perfume collection.

It’s not much different from original SLC, however it’s bolder and stronger but not on a sweet side though. To me the scent has sharper notes maybe it’s combination of alcohol and musk, but I can’t tell for sure. To me the original smelled a lot softer and sweeter. This one - not so much. The staying power is slightly longer than SLC. Also just like the original matte bottle- the paint chips, a lot. Even though the bottle is just sitting there on the shelf.

this is different enough to spend more money on. its actually really nice. The berries really make a difference and the Amber. i can t stop smelling my hand! lol. I wish this wasnt limited edition i like it more than the original which i also like. I wish this was apart of her line. its so heavenly. Sweet berries with Amber and Marshmallows. Warms my sweet gourmand loving heart.

My favorite Ariana Grande perfume. I really prefer this more than the original. It has a better scent, lasts longer, and projects more than the original as well. Absolutely beautiful fruity floral gourmand, I smell the berries, whipped cream, marshmallow, and frangipani the most. I absolutely love frangipani in fragrance it gives a little bit of a tropic floral vibe.

Even though I reviewed this on Youtube I will say this: The main difference between the original, and limited edition is that limited has red berries, red frangipani, and liquid amber, and the amber is what stands out the most as the difference, the amber gives this perfume warmth for the winter, and isn't as sweet as the original. To me they are 80% similar.

This is one of Ariana's best perfumes in her line that needs to make a comeback. It's perfect for the Christmas season. It smells sweet like berries, musk, with a little bit of spice. Similar perfumes include Jimmy Choo Fever and Beyonce Heat Kissed. I know the notes are different, but they have the same type of sexyness and vibe.

It smells really good. Probably my favourite out of all of Ariana's perfumes. It's not as sweet and overpowing as the original sweet like candy, it's more fruity and a little more tarte. The packaging is gorgous, love the hot red colour. But the only downside is it doesn't last very long. I have to reapply every hour.

For having many similar notes, I’m surprised this was more wearable than the pink bottle. This one is fruity and sweet amber but subtle. I much prefer this flanker over the other one. I have yet to see a full bottle that’s not a tester. Makes me wonder if it ever had a true release and not just in a mini coffret.

I love this perfume sooooo much! smells sweet but sophisticate. I wore this the day i saw Ariana in concert and i smell it now it make me think of that day! lovely and smell like a red fruit mixed with the original sweet like candy :) Hope they would make it permanent.

I received this 2 days ago, I found it where I live for 10$ the 50ml. It’s a nice scent but very generic. The bottle arrived damaged but at least the sprayer works perfectly. The first and last Ariana fragrance in my collection

I found it to be fairly generic and not something I’d reach for when so many others smell like it. Handing it over to my cousin who may appreciate it more . #34 out of 114 I’m trying to use before buying anymore
