Thank U Next 2.0

It was on clearance and only for 29€, so I bought the 30ml (1 fl.oz) and wasn’t expecting much. But WOW... I think I wasn’t ready for such a good surprise ! It smells so yummy, for a gourmand and sweet lover, THIS IS IT. It remains more sweet/sugary than fully fully Gourmand to my nose, I think it lacks a better lasting power and a more strong marshmallow note to make it even more gourmand than it already is. Think of something really girly, ultra feminine, a perfume that Barbie could wear ! I just love love looooove the Apple Juice/Wild strawberries/Marshmallow combination, it smells so sweet, it makes me feel edible. The florals are delicate, they’re more subtle to me but they compliment the fruity/sweet concoction so well. The Wild Orchid seems to highlight the Wild Strawberries, and the Jasmine makes the fragrances a bit more creamy. The musk makes that fragrance a slight more powdery and delicate, and the Sandalwood is sooooo nicely blended, doesn’t smell too woodsy on such a sweet, bubbly and girly fragrance ! Pomegranate is nice as well, but I pick the Wild Strawberries more than the Pomegranate, maybe they blend fantastically together!! It surprisingly lasts longer than what I thought it would last (2h~) even if it is still weak for lasting power. The sillage is good, it radiates like a small bubble around you, but it doesn’t project any further. Surprisingly better than what expected when I read the reviews. Sad I can’t find any other bottles of this flanker. I wish they were bigger countenances and that it wasn’t discontinued... I find it suitable for any seasons, but be careful in summer not to overspray when the weather and the heat is heavy. I wish I had a 911 997 Carrera 4 Cabriolet painted in a pink color such as the PTS Ruby Star so I could cruise with the top down, spritzing T.Y.N 2.0 on my skin while listening to some pop/hyperpop music near the beach. Typically a nice easy reach if you’re a girly (attitude wise)/bubbly /sweet person !! I give it a nicely and well deserved 8,5/10 because I wish it wasn’t only a 30ml bottle and now it’s discontinued :(((

I only have the body spray for this so I won’t judge for longevity and sillage until I can actually get my hands on the perfume version. But the release for this has been so infuriating because it’s not of easy access to everyone. Anywho this is a ton better than the original while still holding onto the base and body of the original if that makes sense. For those that hated the “pickle scent” (I never got that 🤷🏽♀️) there’s none of that in here. It’s almost as if this is fresher, fruitier and lighter than the original. The musk and sandalwood are light and not suffocating at all. First spray you’re blasted with those sweet strawberries, fresh apple juice and a slight tart juicy pomegranate. I get some florals but not a ton and then comes the soft musky dry down. It’s a beautiful scent and I would happily get 2 of the perfumes if I could find it anywhere. I suggest trying this second version even if you hated the first *UPDATE* Finally got my hands on the perfume and essentially the smell is the same across the body spray and perfume versions. Still has that fruity opening of strawberries and apple and the original dna dry down of the original. Sillage is pretty good with others being able to smell me upon walking up to them, passing by them, or standing in their general area. Longevity is about meh, I mean I spray a lot on my body and clothes so I think for that it performs well but if you’re only spraying on skin you might say this is WEAK. I of course will layer with the body spray when I want to wear it for that extraness

Luscious APPLE SMOOTHIE & Spun-Sugar. This beauty opens with a sweet burst of fruity apple-strawberry, that deepens into a sweet floral heart that has an airy, whipped, creamy quality with jasmine nuances, all resting on a fluffy, musky marshmallow-sandalwood base. Has faint Baccarat Rouge 540 DNA that comes out the longer it's on the skin. Average performance that's extended by layering over its matching body spray. Contrast to Burberry Her Burberry: These are different, but there are some similarities. Burberry her has the BR 540 DNA from the start that's more intense, while the luschous apple-strawberry is more forward in TUN2.0. Burberry Her outperforms. Contrast to Cloud Ariana Grande: These are different but there are some similarities with a fluffy whipped sugar base. TUN2.0 is more fruit forward and leans more to Burberry Her, while Cloud leans more to BR 540. Roughly equivalent performance. Contrast to Thank U. Next Ariana Grande: Athough these have been compared I find them quite different, but there are some similarities with both being fluffy, whipped and sweet Ariana Grande scents. TUN2.0 has a faint BR 540 DNA that comes out the longer it's on the skin, while TUN opens with pickled, sour fruits but dries down into a beachy, sweet & creamy gardenia and more along the lines of Alien Goddess Mugler. Overall: Beautiful and popular scent profile, with above average performance. This may be my favourite Ariana Grande scent - it's a love for me. Enjoy!

This might be an unpopular opinion, but after smelling this today, I think this is one of Ariana Grande’s best fragrances, right after Cloud and R.E.M.. In fact, it reminds me a bit of Cloud (at least in vibe—Cloud is more cozy-ozonic-gourmand while this is juicy-fruity-floral, but they have a very similar, strong sweet-yet-fresh accord in the dry down). To me, the opening is a burst of tart, borderline sour fruit. I can definitely decipher apple, strawberry, and pomegranate. Very reminiscent of the original Thank U, Next’s opening. After a while, however, things settle down to create the loveliest caramelized-apple and fluffy-marshmallow fragrance. Positively beautiful. Is it basic? Maybe. Is it “young” and “generic”? Sure, I guess. But honestly, who cares? If you want something pretty and flirty and sparkly and girly, something that isn’t challenging and that you can just spray on and know you’re going to smell gorgeous, this perfume (and many others in the Ariana Grande collection) is a perfect choice.

This is so nice! This is the first Ariana fragrance I've added to my collection. The reviews are right though: this and Kayali Juicy Apple are extremely similar. 2.0 is more like a soft, sugary, sweet apple juice whereas Kayali's leans more into candied apple vibes. Such an easy reach! I was actually GOING to get the Kayali one, but I found 2.0 at Burlington for like twenty-something bucks and couldn't pass it up! The bottle is adorable (purple is my favorite color) and the iridescence on it is super cute. Edit: This has actually been lasting a long time on my clothes! And I constantly get compliments on this one! It's such a strong runner up to being a signature but the fact that it's limited edition and only comes in 1oz downgrades it. It's SOOO good though.
