Shades Blue

Idk what you all are on about, this stuff is good!!! For background, I have BdC EDP, and I ran out of a 5oz bottle of BdC EDT. I've worn carded samples of BdC Parfum numerous times. I'm very familiar with BDC! But I can only speak for my own bottle - I just bought a bottle from GiftExpress through Temu. Production date is 11-2024. It is RIDICULOUSLY strong! Like, I just put on 2 sprays and that's enough! (I don't recommend buying from every seller on Temu, but GiftExpress is legit!!!) This smells like a mixture of BdC EDT, EDP, and Parfum, all mixed into one, and not in a bad way!!! The citrus here is much closer than the citrus was in my bottle of Tag-Him, however it still manages to take a backseat to the incense in much the same way. The incense in this scent smells much higher quality than the incense in Tag-Him though. The citrus comes across a bit cologne-y at the top (a bit muddled and less clear than BdC EDT, however this is so much stronger than BdC that I can't frikken complain!!! Seriously, I feel bad for those of you who got weak bottles, because mine is STUPID strong!!! 😅 I sprayed it 2 times on paper 6 hours ago and I keep getting strong whiffs of it from a few feet away. I just went ahead and sprayed it on and had to stop at 2 sprays on my neck because it's just so strong. I'd normally wear 4 sprays of BdC! Anyway, no matter what anybody says, I'll tell you that every scent out there is luck of the draw. Due to the way scents are mixed in large vats, two people with 2 different bottles of the same scent, from the same batch, will get slightly different levels of performance and slight variations of high notes and low notes. PLUS there's the general batch variations we all know of, each vat is a little different... but my bottle of Shades Blue is everything I could've hoped for, especially for $15! Update after 8 hrs and 45 minutes... still going, even after sleeping. Much stronger and longer lasting than my BdC EDP. Much closer scent than Tag-Him was, only missing a little bit of the lemon of BdC EDT, but the grapefruit is there in full force. I've got no complaints!!!

Amazing, Armaf knocked BDC to the core, even though the scent is not complex and the notes are not subtlety pronounced as BDC, it’s great to see the performance from this cheapie which is lacking in BDC in my opinion. Silage is marvellous with this scent and due to inoffensive nature of Bergamot, Grapefruit and Vetiver, it can easily be everyday scent. Couple of sprays on cloth are enough for me. The dry down is fairly simple and no nuances there, and it smells a bit synthetic but it’s only when someone is paying attention or master nose, otherwise great value for money for everyday use. Unbelievable how some compare this to BDC. It’s a blasphemy as it smells nothing like the real MCCoy. Opening is sharp and overall smells very synthetic. It’s very cheap but the scent also smells cheapo. Regret blind buying, lucky it’s cheap. I use it as a bathroom spray after I do my business.

I love this stuff. I reach for this for any casual situation. This works good for casual dates also but i tend to go with something more sensual on formal dates. But for the price you cant beat it. Smells wonderfull. Easy blind buy

Armaf Shades Blue is FRESH-CLEAN-SLIGHTLY WOODY-SPICY-AMBROXAN; You get bright fresh synthetic citrus right out the gate, which fades, then settles to a modern Bleu/Blue fresh a little spicy clean shower gel like scent; Sure Shades Blue is a little sharp & synthetic (which is mainly due to the 'pine' note &/or sour citric note) & sure the BdC scent profile isn't unique and has been copied to death, but for good reason, who doesn't like fresh-clean scents, and Shades Blue is a decent fresh-clean frag especially for what you pay; Also smells similar to Missoni Parfum Pour Homme but the Missoni is a little smoother & a little brighter; It's a good versatile frag for the price can be worn day &/or night Spring-Fall, casual &/or formal, with decent performance (4-5 hours) & arm's length projection/sillage' using 4-5 sprays.

Just buy the BDC. I know it's expensive but take it from me, buy once / cry once. BDC IS amazing, it lives up to every wild expectation I had for it. I romanticized it to the point that I figured there's no way it could live up to my expectations and it still blew me away! This ain't it. It smells like a computer generated guess at how it should smell. I'm a pretty big Armaf fan & this doesn't even come close. For it's price its a fine blue scent but it's still so synthetic it's almost too overwhelming.

Excellent scent for the office. It is very inoffensive and smells clean like soap. Lasts for about 6 hours (batch: 199532 from 2016). If you like Bleu de Channel (90-95% similar), you will enjoy this scent for around $20. The atomizer is very bad.

I haven't smelled BDC but this one is a really good perfume for colder days. It's quite strong and piercing initially, and projects at least for 2+ hours. I got this for around 15 USD and it's a no brainer "must buy" at this price point.

Decent daily freshie, bit of an odd bug spray opening though. Longevity good, with mediocre silage (about arms length) Rating: 7/10

This stuff is a BEAST! Super long lasting and the woody notes are perfect for fall/winter. Gets tons of compliments!

Ok so I'm absolutely crazy about the Blue de Channel DNA and very curious about the different clones and takes on that scent. I can't say that Ive tried many but still Ive tried a few. Let's make one thing absolutely clear , the real thing is the real thing period. Anything else is just a take on that DNA and not a clone. So far no one has been able to clone it 1 to 1 or even close to. I'm talking about the EDT to make things clear which is my favourite av them all. This frag could not have meant to be cloning BDC no way. The notes are way off for that. It has some vibes from BDC but takes a turn towards a cardamom heavy scent with less freshness. This is more like a own thing type of take on the BDC DNA. It's ok but nothing special at all. Although my favourite take on BDC also comes from armaf , this is definitely not it. You can use this after work out or just for casual times . It's kind of like those generic deo spray type of scents but stronger and longer lasting. This could be like an axe scent or something. If you can find this cheap than sure otherwise if you're looking for a DNA closer to BDC than skip this one. Don't get me wrong , it's not bad at all just don't compare it to BDC.

I blind bought this 8 years ago not knowing what it cloned. I thought it was pleasant and enjoyed the smell. Anyway, ended up buying Bleu de Chanel EDT and EDP, when I figured out what the scent was. This is a BDC clone, no doubt. It is a little rough around the edges and screechy, but it’s like $18. For what you pay, it is a good value in my opinion. So yes it isn’t as smooth or refined as the real thing but you aren’t spending $150 a bottle. If you want better quality, Armaf Club de Nuit Blue Iconic is more wearable, lasts longer, and can be had for $30. Both have their place in my collection. I think people need to be realistic about price when they complain about the quality of this juice. For the price, good enough.

Ok... It is what it is: A cheap frag that gets the job done. The opening is sharp with citrus notes & and some powder. The dry down is slightly woody & slightly green as well as powdery. For $23 (delivered) its a good scent (not great). I can't say if it smells like BDC since I don't have it. Overall it's a good, cheap scent better suited for warmer weather. Doesn't last long (3-6 hours). I also have Armaf Pride & CDNI. Pride is very good and well worth the price. CDNI is pretty good too.

Save your money and stick to the real deal: Chanel Bleu!!! Sillage is non-existent. The longevity's sucks too. It has a musky smell on my skin compare to Tag Him. Also, I'd pick "Tag Him by Armaf" over this, but both smell cheap. I will use mines as air freshener.

The opening is really beautiful and juicy. But this one have a very weak performance. 2 hours max and 15 mins of projection. Decent looking bottle and sprayer is really nice. And this one gets really close to BDC EDT compared to other flankers.

It's a weak longevity and weak sillage.

The bottle I have smells like shaving soap/deodorant, nothing to see here. Tag him was better. This didn't project more than a cologne could and lasted about the same. I bought it after watching several videos which proved it was the same or better than BDC. I kept trying but it needs an overdose of sprays to give it a kick but it didn't last. Hope others have luck with it like they did on YouTube.

its ok 6/10 there are many other cheap designer fragrances miles better i would suggest staying away from these armafs and lattafas, they are very poor quality all around and obnoxious.

Very weak performance and sillage fades away an a couple minutes , I got for $16 and I don't think it worth a penny

Dear Armaf, Someone on your factory floor has a great sense of humour... Kindly congratulate Him/Her for amping up the company revenues! Otherwise, who on Earth would pump the same exact perfume juice into 4-5 different bottles with a new name! 😂 Ok folks, there's 1. Armaf Tag-Him 2. Armaf Shades Blue 3. Armaf Voyage Bleu 4. Armaf Marjan Silver Homme all are reminiscent of the Shannel's Blue cash-cow... Armaf Marjan Silver is the better one among all Armaf B d C cousins, or perhaps it's the latest launch. Still can't seem to stop laughing at that Sterling Employee of the Decade!

the lemony opening is a little harsh as compared to BDC EDT grapefruit opening and if you are willing to skip that you are in for an almost identical clone with better lasting at 1/8 of chanels price. i mean it should be a no brainer if its still available in the market cause last i checked they dont make them any more :(

Please Please Please, do NOT Buy this!!! if u are looking for bleu de chanel clone or even inspired by. This is not even close to BDC ZERO!!!! I bought this and was hoping a BDC clone, but it was not. its such disgusting fly killer spray. take Armaf Iconic thats a good dupe.

I like it but my lady's crazy about it! It's got a lot of notes going on (14) it's longevity's not that good but I'll just carry it with me so if I go out and spray myself as needed. It reminds me of my favorite Bleu de Chanel but at a great price.

i bought this, and watched tons of review to be clearly it is a BDC clone.... no WAAAAYYYYYY safe your money. and if u want a clone go for Armaf Iconic. but dont waste ur money on this this is a terriblöe scent.

Update: it's sillage is non-existent. The longevity's crappy too. But my lady still loves it. I'm gonna save up for Bleu de Chanel!

I have a bottle from 2018 and it lasts almost a whole work day. I prefer this for cold, rainy days or nights and it kills.

On me it has very good performance. Smell is very pleasant and good quality.
