The Pride Of Armaf Admiral

I’ve owned Tag Him Uomo Rosso for about a year now, and it’s been one of my favorite pickups. Great performance, strong projection, and that sweet vanilla, spicy profile that clearly leans into Invictus Victory Elixir. It does the job very well, and I’ve enjoyed it a lot. A couple of weeks ago, I picked up The Pride of Armaf Admiral, expecting something different given its presentation and name. After wearing it a few times, it became obvious. This is basically the same scent. Same DNA, same sweetness, same spicy vanilla backbone, even the performance feels nearly identical. That’s where the frustration comes in. Both are made by Armaf, and instead of offering a variation or twist, they feel like the same formula in different bottles. If you already own one, there’s no real reason to buy the other unless you just want the bottle. To be clear, the scent itself is great. If you like Invictus Victory Elixir style fragrances, you will enjoy both. Strong longevity of around 7 to 8 hours, solid projection, and very mass-appealing. I just don’t understand the decision to duplicate it this closely within the same brand. It feels unnecessary and, honestly, a bit misleading if you expect something new. If you’re choosing between the two, pick the bottle you like more. You’re getting the same experience either way.

This one’s a straight-up sleeper hit. No hype, no fanfare, no influencers glazing it into oblivion — just quiet excellence. If you’ve been hunting for a budget-friendly stand-in for Victory Elixir, congratulations. The projection and longevity? Shockingly good for the price—like “wait... why is this still going?” good. It outperforms Tag Him and Just Azraq so handily that they have been rendered to irrelevant status. If you want something bold, rich, and wallet-friendly that punches way above its weight class, this is the one. A true under-the-radar gem that deserves way more noise than it gets... though part of me enjoys feeling like I’m in on the secret.

Very happy with this recent pickup. I also have Just Azraq but was really unhappy with the quality of it. There’s something off putting in it to me. I’d say both are very close to Victory Elixir but Admiral smells much better to me. I’ve also smelled Uomo Rosso in person but that one is a little less like the OG. If you’re like me and are looking for the best interpretation go with Admiral. If you want something close but maybe a bit more on the fresh side go with Uomo Rosso. But I cannot recommend Azraq.

Was a bit unsure with this one due to reviews but wow, it has a truly amazing sillage and incredible performance. One of the only fragrances I own that leaves an actual scent bubble in any room you have been in. Part of me wants this to get the recognition it deserves and another part of me wants nobody to know about it so I can hoard its glorious aura all to myself. Beautiful bottle and box too. The photos don't do the sparkle justice.

This smells very very good from the opening to the soft vanilla dry down. One of my favorites at the moment. Zimaya Embratur Elixir is also great. They both are a 1:1 of the OG.

Great fragrance for the price. Very underrated. I would put this up against alot of designer fragrances and I believe it would win.

#1167 in my "Tour de Fragrance" As others have noted this is very close to Paco Rabanne "Invictus Victory Elixir." This lists amber as a note, but it's not a strong presence and comparing the two side-by-side I smell a minor difference in scent and no difference in performance. Both scents primarily focus on the patchouli. This is fine for business or pleasure, but comes off more a formal office scent than a recreational fragrance to me. Car pool, elevator, small office safe. Great price compared to Victory Elixir. A successful blind buy for me. That said, if this is your jam, I think you'll like Gisada's more complex "Ambassador Intense" which I think is more attractive for romantic use.

NGL I bought this one by accident because the admiral is new and the listing had the wrong image. It did grow on me a lot tho. Tbh I'm getting kind of a fresh spicy vibe moreso than an amber and warm spicy. I saw some people online say its similar to PDM pegasus but theyre trippin. Lavender, pink pepper, vanilla cardamom and incense of some kind are the most present notes to me. Spiciness from the pepper and cardamom but balanced and brought a tad more fresh than warm with that lavender. Picked it up for 35AUD which is a banging deal.

The Pride Of Armaf Admiral Admiral blew me away for what it does. The cardamom immediately hit my nose, followed by the pink pepper and a little bit of incense. But after 20 minutes, the incense comes in, along with a noticeable lavender note, and the fragrance finishes with the baseline vanilla tonka bean combo. My only gripe is the price I got it at, because I bought this for 70 dollars, and that was expensive compared to online. But overall, I am really happy that I bought this hidden gem of a fragrance. 7.6/10

I was really looking forward to seeing what the Invictus Victory Elixir clone would be like. Since I have Elixir, I've been using it for a few months. I like the scent of Armaf, but it's different than Elixir. Its durability is good, 4-5 hours on my skin, but after 1.5 hours it starts to feel like skin. All of this wouldn't be a problem, but it left red, eczema-like spots on my neck, it dried out my skin a lot, or my skin can't handle one of its ingredients, but I've never had anything like that before. After one day of use, this Armaf perfume works as a car air freshener. I won't buy cheap Arabic perfumes anymore.

According to the official Armaf website: Top Notes are Cardamom, Pink Pepper Heart Notes are Lavender, Incense Base Notes are Vanilla, Tonka Bean, Amber, Patchouli The profile pic is wrong too. The bottle is supposed to be blue, not white. The white bottle is The Pride of Armaf White Woman.

Not enough hype on this, but this is exactly how a winter fragrance should smell! Sweet, spicy, creamy. Literally smells like cozy dessert on a cold night. Women don't just compliment on this; they melt. Performance is insace... 4 sprays & you’re filling the whole room!

Overpriced at 35-79$ lol. Its a 20$ fragrance max.. at those prices just buy the real deal .. even armsf tag rossa is a better clone for less... hate stllets ripping people off on clones

I got 4 compliments in one day with this fragrance. It's such a warm buttery sweet fragrance and yet very masculine somehow. I've already ordered a backup bottle

Designer quality Longevity still there and loud 12 hours later Worth the money and more Not sure how close to the OG but it is amazing as standalone perfume
