Voyage Titan Pour Homme

I really like the scent, but after an hour I can't smell anything anymore.

#365 in my "Tour de Fragrance" Whatever this is intended to be, this is not a clone of either Pegasus or Pegasus Exclusif. I have both, love both. This scent is likeable, and I know it reminds me of another scent I've tried, out of the 375 I've done so far, I just can't remember which one. I like the opening well enough. It loses a lot as it dries, but remains a pleasant, mild, very non-descript woody scent as the cinnamon and tobacco go AWOL in minutes. Never a hint of the nutty-sweetness of Pegasus or even the lesser nutty-sweetness of Exclusif. But if you were not comparing this to those scents you'd probably be fine with this. I doubt anyone will buy this twice, but it's a pleasant scent, sillage for an hour, skin scent for two, just no defining character. EDT concentration at best like at least half of Armaf's supposed "Eau de Parfums", so you'd definitely respray at lunch (If you really believe you can dependably get EDP concentrations for $20 you probably also really believe in Santa). Office, carpool, elevator safe. Probably not going to stand up to Summer heat or the gym. Not a signature scent or date night scent for anyone and certainly not for clubbing. This is the last of the Armaf scents I purchased for evaluation a year ago and I have I think some fifty Arab fragrance house scents to go. Quick review of the Armaf's: Keepers: Craze, Excellus, Le Parfait, Niche Oud, Odyssey Homme, Odyssey White, Radical Brown, Tres Nuit. Donated to the homeless men's shelter: All You Need is Love, CDN Sillage, Derby Clubhouse Gold, Hunter, Hunter Intense, Italiano Nero Uomo, Legesi Pour Homme, Odyssey Mandarin Sky, Tag-Him, Tres Nuit Lyric, Voyage Titan. In the New Year I plan to purchase and evaluate these Armaf fragrances: Odyssey Tyrant, Odyssey Aqua, Odyssey Mega Man, Odyssey Oud, Odyssey Wild One, Niche Black Onyx, Niche Platinum, Niche Peridot. As much as i admire the spot-on reviews of Justthefactsman, this time i have to disagree. Right of the bat it gives me strong hints of Pegasus exclusive. In the drydown it starts to stray away from this DNA and gets kind of its own Thing. As for the scent itself, it lacks a lot in performance, although IT smells quite nice, but nothing very special or extraordinary. If you can grab it for under 15 € / $ i would say one could buy it without much regret, but imho its not worth a bigger investment, since there are much better choices in the Higher price sections.

Edit: after a strange amount of research I was able to find a webpage that said this is a clone of PdM Pegasus Exclusif.
