Eau Chic

This is aromatherapy in a bottle, because this perfume reminded me of the smell of tart herbs, crushed in the palm of your hand. A little bit of wormwood, thyme and other inconspicuous herbs and small flowers, the names of which are known only to biologists and old village healers. Previously, such were often found in the city, now very rarely in wastelands and construction sites and near railways. I miss the herbs that in the summer grow almost higher than your head, and all this grows as it wants.

Eau Chic by Astier de Villatte is an Eau de Cologne, and it behaves exactly as expected. I personally love it, in part, because it’s refreshing, light and simple, and gone within 90 minutes. i also love the quirky packaging. I pick up lots of similarities to other colognes with citrus and herbs, and with an orange blossom/neroli note that doesn’t turn soapy. On a hot day, that’s a perfect recipe.

This is so nice for office wear, I can concentrate and still smell good. I first tried this in a store. But I had to return and try it again. It is chic but does not disturb.

Sits really close to skin but i don’t mind. I really like the smell...it’s pretty...it’s very inoffensive and good for warm weather. You can overspray and won’t get headache.

Beautiful unisex citrus/petitgrain a-la Villoresi, but the drydown falls into generic feminine neroli/florals territory. Nice, but definitely seen many times before, and at that price point I expect more. Poor performance doesn't help loving it either. Pass for me.
