Riviera Lazuli

This perfume is like a dream, a short dream. It's beautiful and exactly what you dream for but dream unfortunately always end too fast. After I sprayed it a lot of time after like 2-3 hours it turn into skin scent. It still is however a great and simple summer scent. On the opening it smells like an old rich man relaxing on his yacht off the shore of Italy while enjoying a fresh invigorating cup of sgroppino. Later on the dry down it smells like as if the old man return to the shore, still covered by faint scent of lemon, taking a break by burning some driftwoods while enjoying the sunset before he finally went back home.

Fresh, clean, aquatic summer scent with a backdrop of wood and a hint of incense-y smoke. Lasted quite a long time for a citrus centric fragrance. And the bottle is to die for gorgeous. Deep blue bottle with floating gold flecks that land on your skin when sprayed. Just love having it displayed front and center on my perfume shelf. it is like a late afternoon bonfire on the beach. The last vestiges of the day sparkle on the gentle waves as the sun sets on the horizon. Cozied up to the crackling driftwood in the fire pit and cool citrusy breeze brushes against your cheek.

I think this is a really underrated fragrance. This is a citrusy, woodsy, incense-powered fragrance that evokes a feel of being on the beach of a mediterranean island. I really want want a bottle, but haven't yet splurged for a $225 fragrance that's really limited to being a casual summertime use unless you live somewhere like Florida or California. Still, I think this is a great, under-the-radar scent that will allow you to smell good and stand out due to its uniqueness. I love this bright, uplifting, summery fragrance.

My favorite of Atelier Des Ors Riviera line. Fresh, and pretty at every stage. Easy reach, day or night. I've layered with Blue Madeline, quite nice.

This one said “luxury” before I even finished the first spray. Right out of the gate, it’s very citrus-forward - bergamot doing laps while cypress stands there in a crisp linen shirt. The vibe? You’ve just stepped onto the balcony of a five-star European coastal hotel, sunglasses on, espresso in hand, judging yachts you’ll never own. It’s sharp. Like, wake-up-call sharp. The opening has a bit of bite and hangs around longer than expected, but once it finally chills out, the magic happens. As it settles, the fragrance smooths into a gorgeous green, woody situation. Cedar steps into the spotlight, the cypress calms down, and that bergamot sticks around just enough to keep everything feeling light, clean, and freshly showered in a very expensive bathroom. It’s crisp, polished, and effortlessly fresh - like a man who doesn’t sweat, he glistens. Although it’s marketed as unisex, this one leans masculine on my skin, and it absolutely thrives in spring and summer. Outside, in the breeze? Chef’s kiss. I kept catching whiffs of it, and so did the people around me - this thing projects without yelling and lasts a solid 8 hours. Now...the price. Whew. That’s where the fantasy ends. While it smells fantastic and undeniably refined, it’s not “take my full retail money” special. At full price, it feels a little too proud of itself. If I stumbled across it for half off? Sure, I’d happily bring it home. Until then, I’ll keep sniffing my way through greener pastures and more wallet-friendly spring bangers.

Incredibly fancy bottle and leaves some gold flakes on the skin wherever sprayed. This is the most generic of the Riviera collection. It's fresh, clean, aquatic, and blue smelling with a woody and slightly salty base. It doesn't smell like any one fragrance to me, but I think it's in the same family of Maison Margiela Under the Lemon Trees. If you like that one, you'll like this one. This is blind buy safe. You will smell good, but I don't think this is really a compliment getter. Performance is above average for a citrus fragrance, and it is pleasantly unisex--not leaning much in either direction. 7/10 to me, maybe 8. Not worth its full price unless you just love it, but you can easily find it close to half off without much effort.

This is special! A refreshing citrusy opening without any hint of astringency along with some aromatic facets. In the drydown I get a note which reminds me of Arquiste’s Sydney Rock Pool as well as Eight & Bob’s original. A smooth, calming lotion vibe. Saltwater notes and incense flow through all levels the fragrance, but never dominate the other notes. Fragrances designed with warmer weather in mind aren’t usually this complex and satisfying. I’m strongly considering getting a full bottle of this for summer.

A pretty good scent. It starts off fresh and ends up woody. In my opinion, I agree with the youtube reviewer FragranceView about the mens deodorant vibe, but hey, it smells good. It's fresh and clean and that part really doesn't last as long as it transitions to more woodiness. On my skin, It starts off strong and gets pretty close to the skin after an hour or so. Good for summer hot days. A like for me.

It reminds me of Jo Malone's Aqua Lemon. The fresh lemon on the opening is quite refreshing, followed by a subtle aquatic hint. It dries down to a woody base, but I cannot detect any incense. It's simply lovely, perfect for summer days, but the price tag is just too much.

Good frangrance. Opening realistic lemon, dry down is woody citrusy with a marine backtone. Good fragrance but nothing unique and waay overpriced. There are cheaper fragrances that smell alike.

I mean, I like it. It's good..... It's generic, boring, and mass appealing. A good execution of something that you'll find anywhere for much less. If you have money to throw away it's fine ig. But, at this point, might as well but a designer for half the price. And don't get me started with the amount of middle easterns that you'll find with the same profile (and quite frankly either may be as good quality wise). The bottle is pretty tho. But it's aight, which is not alright for the price point. I'd not complain if someone gave it to me. Unisex to male. Decently lasting. A good smell for an unknown feline who you want to impress with an expensive gift that anyone would like.

#1565 in my "Tour de Fragrance" Got this as a decant. I'm glad I didn't spend $100+ to smell like Body Shop "Virgin Mojito." If this had lavender I might mistake it for Perry Ellis "360 Blue" or any of the citric freshie EDTs from Original Penguin. I really don't think you get anything here you don't get from a $10 Nautica, Jaguar or Cuba Paris, so I wouldn't recommend it. I don't dislike it, I'm just indifferent to it.

I was pretty disappointed in this one, as based on the notes I expected something greener/more aromatic, or at least something I wouldn't have smelled before. Sadly this shares similarities to Sel Marin, for which I do not care either. Meh. 6/10

Right after spraying it's delightfully aromatic-- pine needles, fir, lemon, salt. But quickly dries down to driftwood doused with astringent pinesol.

Let me be clear about this fragrance. This is not a niche fragrance you buy to be unique or to experience a completely new artistic olfactory experience. This one would fit right in with the dozens of aquatic summer fresh designers like Light Blue intense, or Azzaro's Chrome Aqua. The aroma chemicals create a sensation that vaguely reminds me of axe- not one specific axe but rather the vague aroma left behind after someone sprays axe. This sensation is not dominant but is present. With all this out of the way I still really enjoy this fragrance. It serves a very useful role. Not all of us are so into fragrances that choosing what we spray is almost the most important decision of our day. Perhaps this will be blasphemy to some but on occasion I want to smell generic, like everyone else. Think of a group of hat lovers; they might insist on rocking your extravagant red leather cap, but you just want to wear your regular black cap to keep the sun out of your face. This is what this fragrance does. Maybe some of you might say "If you just want a nice smelling generic cologne, why dont you buy Chrome Aqua or Light blue?". Well when I smell these up close I'm revolted. My nose is assaulted, I rather jus smell it in the air. With this one I can actually dig my nose in and be transported to a cool coniferous forest on the sea's edge. Many time's I have thought while wearing Light Blue intense, This would be amazing if we could throw in Profumum Roma Lemons! Well this doesn't quite reach that level of execution but the point remains that what this fragrance allows you to do is to wear a mass market fragrance for the actual enjoyable wearing experience, and not just for the sheer utility of it. Forgive me for not taking time to describe the smell in more detail but I felt it was more important to clear up a seeming paradox that could confuse buyers; that this is not unique at all, that this is the type of fragrance normal people would expect to be like $30 (not for smelling cheap but simply because of the genre). And yet despite all this I think if you know thats what you want you'll enjoy it alot; lemons are awesome, depth is added with the cypress woody facets, synthetics are used judiciously- trust me; no designer would be able to match it with their budget restrictions. Scent 7/10; Everything is done so well it might deserve higher but ultimately I think most people would expect at least one unique aspect to a fragrance of this price. In a way this a terrible blind buy, I think too many people will be disappointed. Wearability 100/10; incomparable. Other highly wearable scent might reach 8/10 simple for being so inoffensive and versatile. This one goes beyond that, it actually smells amazing quality wise. In summary if you're the type of person that loves fragrances and has a large collection but often find yourself resorting to just wearing Light Blue intense, this is is one for you. Otherwise redundant and not worth it.

This punched me in the face a bit today not gonna lie . The 🍋 and Bergamot here have a fist fight. Not sure who wins, but it's KO for me. I love their house but this one is a no for me ( or any man ). A possible adjustment would be: way less Bergamot, less lemon, and more sage ! It would maybe balance it out into something interesting. Reminds me of an Italian man in his 50s in summer, too tanned, always with his cigarettes in his chest pocket, the pomade brings his gray mid-lenght hair back all the way leaving small waves at the end of his head, all in the back. He wears linen, a leather belt and sometimes a hat. But then you see him at the beach on the daily in his minuscule speedo, brown and wrinkly and he's not so classy anymore.

The realistic citrus opening is very nice. I like the fresh woodsy vibe. Unfortunately a kind of aquatic profile creeps in that makes the dry down more generic and less fun than the opening. The longer it wears, the more sweetness I get, which I don't find pleasant with the aquatic accord. I wish the sea was left out and that this just remained a fresh citrus/herbal with woody base. Not great. I’m going to shoot you straight. If you like smelling like a “tropical” aerosol room spray, this is the scent for you. Not to be too critical but it just lacked anything I would consider worth while in a fragrance. Nothing stands out. People would probably think I just sprayed febreeze on myself if I wore this at the office.

Opens as a beautiful aquatic citrus before it settles into an artificial mess which I can only describe as tires screeching to a stop against asphalt. Alternatively, getting off of a train and smelling the fresh wheel friction against the railroad tracks. That is what this smells like on my skin. Rubbery, synthetic, faintly of gasoline.

Bergamot, cypress galore and sage. Not a fan smells like a deodorant honestly. Would definitely avoid this when possible 2/10

I received this as a sample and having not had a lot of luck with any type of unisex perfume I sprayed lightly on my wrists. My immediate impression was that it was nice but I detected an instant cedar or something that was truly masculine. I am now in the middle of the dry-down and I am detecting Driftwood, mossy Wood, breeze and maybe some sea salt. I’m going to try and get my husband to wear it as it is pleasant but in my opinion not for a woman. It is for spring summer.

This is just a first impression of this fragrance. It opens up extremely smooth. This is a beautiful everyday type scent for spring and summer. This line is priced at $225 which is expensive but I see this is good quality. Not a soft scent but this will not jump off the skin. So far I find this to be a very wearable niche scent. Juicy lemon and bergamot leans a bit soapy. Well done atelier des ors. I’m intrigued.

Fresh, lemony, the inmortelle is a little bit sweet here. It is aquatic and sparkly for the first hour, then it becomes more woody with a little too much cedar. It is nice, it is elegant, but very simple to justify the price. A sample is enough for me.

Smells almost like there is frangipani in here, but I think it's immortelle. Opens very citrusy. Then after about ten minutes, the wood comes out. Dries down to smell like lotion. Pleasant, but not something I would buy, especially at this price.

Lemon soda (unsweetened) drying down to lemon detergent splashed on wooden surfaces. I like the sparkly opening - super refreshing but also extremely fleeting. The drydown is very perfumey and generic.

Beautiful but fleeting. Like someone who you used to love but can no longer picture their face.

high quality, classy juice, clean, fresh, citrusy, great yer round but ideal for summer/spring
