Plush Leather

Aubusson scents are a common sight on the cluttered unboxed TJ Maxx fragrance shelves. Yes it smells nice, Yes it is in the Creed Aventus family, Yes it will only cost you $14.99 but also Yes, it becomes a skin scent within ten minutes, and completely undetectable even on skin and clothing after twenty. I have a few cheapies from Aubusson (you'd think I'd learn my lesson) that were all impulse buys of course and most of which aren't in the Fragrantica database. They are all generally weak performance wise, but this one is probably the weakest of the bunch. Maybe this is fine for a quick after-shower spritz or to spray down your pillows before bed, but putting this on for a night out on the town is pointless, because it will be long gone before you get to wherever you're going. In summary, Plush Leather Aubusson is a brief but pleasant apple suede fragrance that is very enjoyable for the three or four sniffs you're able to sneak in before it disappears. And in a world with dozens upon dozens of Aventus clones and "inspired-by's", you would be better off putting that $14.99 towards one of them instead.

Nice sweetish and fresh fruity scent that eventually dries into leathery and some woody tones. Performance isn't top notch as longevity is quite short and sillage is poor after hour or two. On plus side, this can applied quite freely and often as this has excellent price tag. Overall this is good scent.

I just got my bottle of Plush Leather and that I can say it's a very nice fruity scent wich I like alot BUT it lasts just a few minutes then the fruits dissapeard and it becom into a skin scent for an hour. I bought it for low price /approximetly 10 dollars/ so I can't be mad about the performance.

Well....another Aventus type scent.....but IMO...not a clone/dupe....just a similar type take on it. Performance is kinda "lack-luster" too. There are much better of this type scent out there....so...don't bother with this one.

Super weak performance, i have to do 20 sprays to notice the smell, and have to reapply it every 30min, price is cheap but not worth the money since this has no performance at all, even worse than Zara perfume, this Aubusson brand is designed in the US but the juice is made in China as it says on the label.

This is another Creed Aventus clone. For the guys and girls that don’t know Creed Aventus it’s a somewhat green, fresh, woody, fruity (apple/pineapple/black currant) masculine scent.. and it smells AMAZING imo. One of the most copied fragrances on the market. It’s also $400-$400 for a regular sized bottle (3.3 oz). If you like Aventus and want a clone that’s really cheap this and English Laundry London are the way to go. Both can be had for under $15. For $12.99 I like it.. a lot. I own Aventus and maybe 5 clones. Compared to my bottle of Aventus (non fruity batch) it’s sweeter and heavier with a bit of smoothness from the leather. It’s also pretty “full”. I would not call this a watered down clone. English Laundry London is much lighter and fresher than Aventus, so I like to spray that on warmer days for its more refreshing quality. Plush Leather is not that. Overall this was a great addition to my collection, no matter how redundant it is. I can spray all day, every day, get that Aventus vibe and save my actual bottle for very special occasions. To my nose this smells excellent for it’s price point. I would suggest letting it breathe (spray and leave the cap off) for a week or longer. It’ll open up and any alcohol will die down. I do that with all of my bottles anyways so no biggie. $12.99 at TJ Maxx and Burlington? To me it’s a no brainer. I’ll probably buy one or two backup bottles and still be under 10% of what a bottle of Aventus costs. Scent wise.. good juice. Considering bang for buck.. good juice.

When did they add this to the database? I swear it wasn't here when I was searching last year... Despite the listed notes and the "reminds me of" votes, this is not an Aventus clone. This smells just like citrus and suede. A bright leather, not an Aramis leather. More like Ferrari Leather Essence. It's actually quite nice, however, poor performance. It was $14.99 at Marshalls, no big deal. I don't know about the comment below; my bottle said Paris, France on the bottom.
