Artisan Cherry Vetiver

Cherry Bakewell Tart cough syrup with plenty of vetiver and a memory of nutty woodiness, and in a good way imho! This is more like Lost Cherry than Cherry Punk Room to me (CPR is much more burnt woody/incensey in line with that house), but it's more its own thing. (And I haven't tried Cherry Syrup Proad.) If you do not like these "cough syrup" fragrances, then don't unfairly down rate it. It may not be your vibe, but sometimes I am in the mood for this category. I see it more as a flirty spring/fall scent, but I think it could work in the summer too and lasts up to 6 hrs on my skin. To me it is unisex, but could be made more masculine with layering of oud or maybe warm spice frags. Really glad someone included this as a free sample in an order. Hoping to try more from the Avon Artisan line, as you really can't do much better for a $25ish fragrance.

Avon has rebranded this line of fragrance as LYRD, for "Layers Redefined". Cherry Vetiver is outstanding amongst the deluge of Cherry variations out there. This is a velvety smooth, softly wooded skin scent. Extremely great value for the quality. Not at all disjointed between the layers. Lasts much longer on my skin than Tom Ford Lost Cherry. Cherry Vetiver has a synchronicity that many Cherry fragrances do not. There is something reminiscent of Windows Down from Henry Rose. Can't wait to experiment with this in the warmer temperatures.

As someone who usually does not enjoy a cherry scent, this is amazing. its sweet but not sugary; a more mature cherry tone. its a good sweet winter scent, and the wood notes are definitely on the lighter side. sort of smells like a grandma or a thrift store, but kind of in a good way?? overall a sweet wood, fruity in the same way that a wine is

One of my cherry favorites!!! This is a perfect mix of cherry,vetiver and musk! Silage and longevity are both moderate on me. I think this perfume is perfect for year round use just going light with in during the warmer months.

First, I’ve loved Avon for years - they have some great stuff. So I went into this with moderately high expectations. But I was disappointed and doubly so, because not only is this a weak, insipid fragrance, it completely missed its potential to be great. Poor sillage, poor longevity, not very complex or even interesting, not memorable. As a child of the 70s I remember my mom making homemade play doh out of flour, salt etc and then colored with various colors of Kool aid mix (no sugar just the powder). Cheap fun. Avon’s Cherry Vetiver reminded me of the cherry Kool aid play doh - a distinct cherry note but not very sweet; lightly earthy, a slightly “bread-y” note which was unusual and must have been the Vetiver. I’ve smelled Vetiver and this was a shallow disappointment. Even some of Avon’s other Vetiver frags had a more pronounced note than this. The scent is light, low projection but pleasant. It faded and became virtually undetectable in 3 hours. I only bought the travel size and on sale, so no huge loss but I am disappointed by this fragrance.
