Blue Rush Intense

A much better stronger version of the original. I was skeptical when I saw the brochure ad, but I think I like this better than Blue Rush...it's darker, warmer and deeper. How kind of Avon to give the Men an intense flanker for once. This has more citruses and no sweet melony notes. The kiwi is fresh, juicy and green smelling but not sweet/sticky like melons can be, and 'ozone' gives it an airy feel and much better projection. The masculine florals of lavender and geranium hint at CW but only in a flattering way and the green anise warms this up like a tropical lagoon after the summer sun has set. Diegof7 mentioned the scent-treking of Junkial beach in his review, and I can see how as this dries, it can remind one of walking along the beach. The drydown has the 'noble' woods of mahogany and white cedar: rich, resiny and strong joining in communion with vetiver's clean earthy vibe and tonka's sweet aromatic warmth. All in all, a simply wonderful masculine summer scent that has fruits, flowers and woods with a modern twist that is not too light, not too deep and is just as refreshing as a skinny dip in the warm ocean and cool night air... Sillage: good Longevity: pretty good Overall: 4/5 Avon's mens line of fragrances has really been very good as of late and I have enjoyed all of the one's released since BR was discontinued. This could easily have been made by a famous designer 'nose' and sold in a high end department store. It still labelled as an EDT but it is definitely more intense than BR was, and a lot sexier too...

Where are the other notes? It's not only a kiwi scent. Far the best summer scent from Avon and much-much better than the original Blue Rush for men. The top notes are kiwi with juicy mandarin orange and bergamot. Then comes some very fresh ozonic effect with lavender and pelargonium. The drydown is the best with the smell of hot sand mixing with white cedar and vetiver.So fresh,so summery. You can feel as you lay on the beach drinking a fruity cocktail while the cool,salty wind is blowing from the ocean in the summer heat. And it lasts very long and projects better than some much more expensive summer edition. Unfortunately Avon discontinued this version in Europe :( WHY? WHY? WHY? I don't understand these things...

In my opinion Blue Rush intense smell way better than the original Blue Rush.This fragrance smells very aquatic,and very clean.The staying power is not too bad,and the bottle is very nice.Avon has done it again with this one.

I just cannot stop thinking about this perfume. My uncle gave me one when I was a teen, then I started buying myself. I always had lot's of compliments, it felt great.

Ele é um perfume frutal marinho amadeirado eu simplesmente amo, bem refrescante na saída depois vai se tornando mais amadeirado e docinho, ao meu ver é melhor que o Bluerush antigo, possui notas de kiwi, bergamota, clementina,notas ozônicas, gerânio,anis verde,lavanda, scent treck junkilal beach, mahogany, vetiver, fava tonka, cedro branco.

Avon really should re-release this scent. It is amazing, no wonder it was so popular while it was available. Glad I was able to get a bottle on ebay before the prices for one got too steep! I plan to give an actual review of it the next time that I wear it, when the weather gets a little warmer.

Just found unused 75ml of BRI in charity shop last week for 4GBP. Quick Fragrantica review check and Ebay search and made the purchase. Quite like it. Must be strong, 3 tiny sprays and my partner called up from downstairs " that's nice, what is it". Eek. I'd also dabbed tiny drop of Hai Karate. Guessing the Avon is woody aquatic but my sense of smell is poor but I can occasionally detect it around the house and it's very pleasant. Before you mock my old man stuff, my other stock is vintage Armani (Homme, White, C Glam). I love using stuff I used in my 20s (40 years ago). Also have little Serge Lutens, Black Orchid and Halfeti. Favourite new frag is anything by Ffern. Why are there so few reviews of it on here.

Recebo muitos elogios quando o uso, fico admirada pois uso perfumes caros de grifes e as vezes não rola elogio mas com esse sempre comentam que estou fresquinha e cheirosa, acho que é o cheiro fresco, de oceano que agrada tanto as pessoas, adoro ver os rostos surpresos quando revelo que é um perfume da Avon e ficam encantados de saber que os perfumes da Avon finalmente mudaram, evoluiram... Absolutamente recomendado! Nota 10 em todos os quesitos: Fragrância, fixação, projeção.

My son used to like this cologne,it really had it's own unique smell,which it was great.Until they discontinued it,I haven't been able to buy it for him.This was the only cologne my son extremely liked.Anyone know of a site/perfume catalog that you can consistently order from?Besides ebay,amazon etc.If not someone should make their own business,including the blue rush intense for men!! very good idea,be like a business where you would sell either discontinued/Rare/popular perfumes and fragrences.

Got as a gift and it turned off my nose when I smelled. But today I find it a good casual choice, something to use even in the office when I am in doubt of what wearing. There is nothing dry or astringent here, what is good, but nothing cold either. Nor fresh: it is a warm blue scent, maybe like the bottle itself.

In love with this one. Probably the best Avon out there. Great sillage.
