Shock

The first deodorant I can remember, bought with my pocket money. Its crisp mint notes were a refreshing delight that I instantly loved. Now, every whiff takes me back to those simple, carefree days. Sadly, it's no longer available as it's been discontinued, making the memory even more nostalgic.

I was 15 when this deodorant gave me a piercing, blinding, vomit inducing migraine. I was bedridden for an entire day. I still remember the smell, and it makes me sick just thinking about it. I've never had that reaction to anything before and I'll never forget it. It's a dislike from me.

I just returned from a pretty long hiatus from the fragrance community, busy with studies and work. After months of not being on Fragrantica, I'm quite bemused that Axe is now in the database. What is becoming of the world... Anyway, I just wanted to give this particular scent a shout out. This product was what started my passion for perfume. I had the body wash, and it had the notes described on the label ("sea mint, glacier water" or something like that). I remember enjoying the scent and being fascinated by the concept of notes. Anyway, it seems that Fragrantica has come a long way by including things such as this, but who's to judge?

Oh what a lovely deodorant scent. Why o why did they stop producing it?!
