Azzaro Sport

Don't believe the hate that you'll hear for this on YouTube. I don't get it. I first learned about this from watching YouTube videos. And I thought that it was just garbage. But then I saw it at my local Walmart for $29, I had nothing else to buy, figured I'd give it a try because at the very least it could be just some cheap scent that I spray-on to work in the yard or whatever. I got home and opened it up. The bottle looks a lot better in person, although it's still pretty generic looking. The cap is trash. But it's a cap. Who cares? But as soon as I sprayed it I was shocked at how much I disagreed with the YouTubers. No this isn't some groundbreaking amazing compliment beast mode fragrance. But it smells pretty damn good, and it's insanely affordable. It is very reminiscent of Mont Blanc Legend. I wouldn't say necessarily a clone, but very close. But I think this actually performs better than Mont Blanc Legend. It's easily a 6-hour fragrance, with a good hour and a half of projection. I'm not setting those numbers in stone, because I don't pay that much attention, but it isn't far off from that. But there is definitely a few other notes that are not listed here. I get a slight cherry in the opening. Maybe for only like the first 30 minutes or so, but I pick up a cherry in the background. Now I could be completely wrong, but that's what I'm noticing. I don't know what else to say. This is good. My wife also thinks it smells great. I think people just saw the bottle and made up their mind before they even tried it. I don't know.

Finally found my summer fragrance. Tho i might use this all year around. I read many reviews and bought this blindly. Smelled similar fragrances like MB Legend before so i was quite confident i would like this one. Got this under 20€ and was suprised of the quality. Would recommend 8/10 overall from me.

latest release. will review it soon. initial impression is its nice but nothing extra ordinary, clean fresh little herbacious and everyday wear for work and gym, nice eye catching bottle 7/10 Edit: It a clone of Mont Blanc Legend, Abercrombie Fierce, PDM Percival and so on.

It's funny no one mentions Chanel Platinum Egoiste. And it doesn't smell cheap at all. And by the current price it's a good bargain. Bravo Azzaro. Nothing like Prada Luna Rossa, no mint in it.

To me this smells almost identical to Ralph’s Club! For the price you can not beat this one. Hats off to Azzaro for helping us fragrance addicts during this terrible time of inflation!

Thu it kind of generic, it stays fresh & dynamic. It is more gym-style. Price/perfoance is very good. Smells exactly like Abercrombie Fierce with much less to pay.

I rarely purchase cheapies especially under the $20 mark but I was at a Marshalls Department store recently looking over their items and I noticed a bottle that I didnt recognize but it didnt look tacky or cheap like most cheapies. I picked the box up and noticed it was marked down to 11.99 because someone had opened the seal and box and took it out I guess to sample it or perhaps try to steal it I dont know but I thought eh 11.99 and its an Azzaro, how bad could it be? Well since it was already opened I went ahead and sampled it myself and was quickly surprised. It actually smelled good. Linear and simple, yes but it smelled pretty good overall in fact I liked it. It was lavender and clary sage right off the bat and it didnt smell cheap or screechy synthetic which is what I expected. I bought it and Im glad I did. The next day I covered myself in it because I knew it was not going to last long and I wanted to get the full show experience. There is not much tonka which is fine with me but you do get a tad bit of sandalwood along with the clary sage and the lavender which is the main player. Is it worth purchasing for $20 and under?? Absolutely.. If you are looking for a cheapie to just have around to freshen up or to keep in your vehicle perhaps, this is a great one for that or it would make a good gift for a young man that doesnt have any fragrances.

Azzaro Sport is a citrus, aromatic and woody fragrance. Its opening is fresh, it has some citrus fruits, but mainly the notes of lavender and sage are perceived, bringing memories of fragrances like Legend by Montblanc, but in a less fruity and more aquatic version and other fragrances like Perry Ellis 2018 or something like Tous Man Intense. As the minutes pass, a woody aroma is perceived, some sandalwood, with musk and a slight sweetness of tonka bean. Azzaro Sport is a very pleasant fragrance, it smells clean, it is almost impossible to dislike, very masculine and versatile, to be worn on any occasion and it is also available at a reasonable price. Regarding performance, the duration on the skin was close to 8 hours, with a notable trail for the first hour, but then it decreased. Azzaro Sport is an easy fragrance to like, to give as a gift and to buy blind.

This is a simple set of notes, 4 total oils 1 top, 1 mid, and 2 in the bottom. This is more typical with Azzaro, I guess this is the philosophy of less is more. For a sport freshie I get over 6 hours on my skin and it projects for about 2. Each one features itself from the opening through the mids until the final dry down. Since there is no citrus each stage last longer than your typical freshie. So it is very interesting and takes its time to get to the final dry down. If you see this at the racks pick yourself up a bottle. It’s a great casual scent!

This reminds me of high school. The initial opening is similar to curve but that goes away after about 5 minutes and the. it smells pretty much like Abercrombie fierce. Nothing wrong with that, I don’t remember fierce exactly but I think this a more mellow version. It does smell quite good and I remember the ladies loved Fierce, but it’s probably best for someone young. Teenager to early twenties. I’ll keep it and wear it to the office occasionally. Btw picked up a 3.2 oz bottle for 21$ Not a bad buy will rate the frag after a few days with it

This is a nice one. Light and pleasant, and certainly safe. These guys are not trying to reinvent the wheel by any means. The exact kind of fragrance I gravitate to in warmer weather. To top it off, I got 100ml for $22 on the Shoppers Drug Mart discount shelf. It won't be a signature scent or anything, but it will add some variation to my warm weather collection. I don't know what this retails for generally, but I probably wouldn't advise buying it at full price.

This scent is very much fougere, the lavender and sage are really good. My only gripe is the sillage and longevity are quite poor. This completely wears off in about four hours for me and is almost undetectable by those around me after about two hours. Decent daytime fragrance. Edit: this is a superior Montblanc Legend

I picked Azzaro Sport up from the discount bin at my local pharmacy. All I can say is wow - it is a dead-ringer for Fierce, which is a fragrance that holds a special place in my heart reminding me of my youth. If you happen to see this at a discounter or in a discount bin, don't think twice - it's worth every penny.

It's okay, a touch generic. I dunno if it's because of the lavender, but it's quite similar to Azzaro's Aqua Verde. Safe blind buy, ideal for summer or office. Longevity seems better than Aqua Verde. Got a 100ml for $19.99 so no complaints really.

Watch/read any review on Montblanc Legend or A&F Fierce. Cause its exactly what this is. Like 98%. Performs slightly better than Montblanc Legend tho, at least on my skin, so there's that.

This is a good frag for the gym. On my skin the lavender is strong but still mellow with a touch of woods. This can be powdery and slightly cloying at least for the gym imo.

This is a nice freshy. Its nice and pleasant. nothing complicated or super exotic. but it works great for out of the shower or for the gym bag.

cheap fresh and light scent i love it last on me abt 3 hours weak performance with medium sillage

The opening is basically lavender, a touch of muskiness, and sage with a lot of sandalwood. After a few minutes, the muskiness tones down, the sandalwood and the tonka balance out and by the drydown you are left with a mostly lavendar and ambroxan smell with a touch of tonka and sage. Basically, this is lot like Sauvage smells like when the pepper and citrus notes fade off and it's nothing but lavender and ambroxan, but safe in weather over 85 degrees if you don't overspray. This scent is a generic hot weather activity fragrance, and that's all it's trying to be. It projects fairly well off my skin for 3 hours indoors, but 5 hours when keeping warm with activity -- even just walking fast in a mall that's too warm. Not my thing since I don't dig scents with lavender-ambroxan at their core. If you like the drydown of scents like Sauvage, Fierce or Legend, this might be a good choice for a gym scent for you -- especially at the price you can get this one for currently. Personally, I'll stick to my cheap CK One flankers for the gym.

Smells exactly like Abercrombie. A bit generic but good value.

I don't think I like it. Maybe it's the lavender or the Tonka bean, but something just smells bitter, pungent and herbal in a way that I do not vibe with. Fortunately it was dirt cheap, €23 euros for 100 mL, and I got a free weekend bag with it that's surprisingly big, so I'm happy with the purchase overall, but the fragrance itself is just not for me. I'll likely use it as a gym scent, something you only spray knowing you'll wash it off soon.

Gym scent here and that’s it. Nothing special. Has been done before many times. Surprised Azzaro would put this out. Youthful and for someone that doesn’t know anything about fragrances. High school and below would appreciate this At least it has ok performance

This was given to me as a gift with another Azzaro Fragrance that I bought <> I really think this just a watered down version of a generic shower gel fragrance , my feelings are .Im glad i didnt pay for this, a waste of time and very weak.

This smells like the lovechild of nautica Voyage and hugo boss man. It has a gym type of scent that's also pretty "green" smelling. It's as if a gym scent is attempting to cut through the cold using holly, Christmas wreathes, and pinecone. It has a "deep salty aquatic" similar to aqua di gio, if you already have adg or vph or nautica Voyage buying this would be pretty redundant. If does smell pretty good for the price though, just reminds me of something an older cousin in his late 30's would wear. It kind of reminds me of Versace Dylan blue in a way as well in that vein of fresh/green/spicy/floral/aquatic. It isn't just one thing but a well blended balance of everything which is inoffensive and inexpensive without screaming synthetic cheap crap. It does smell pretty nice and performs nice and would make a good gift for someone just getting into cologne collecting as it smells clean and safe and Inoffensive, albeit not totally original.

Just got this today and my initial thoughts are it’s very nice and can’t really moan as it’s cheap. I got it for under £20. Only had it on my skin for about 20 minutes but so far its sillage has been surprisingly very good. It reminds me of Ralph’s club and for some reason lynx Africa shower gel. Bit random but that’s where my mind went. Not sure why so many people have bashed this. Very cheap and cheerful so no need to bash it. I think I could easily wear this year round for any occasion. Update: I’ve had this on for a few hours and I’m shocked to say it’s very good and exceeded my expectations. This reminds me of a more refined version of lynx Africa body spray. And no I don’t think it smells way too chemical either. So if anyone is looking for something in the same wheelhouse as fierce but ain’t got the money for that, this is a fantastic cheap alternative imo

I loved the Azzaro line after owning TMWI which is one of my favorites in my collection. This is the budgeted version and is far from the smell of its more formal iterations. Looking at the liquid color, you would place this in the likes of Nautica Voyage & Versace Pour Homme. Opening is fresh citrus light and airy. Drying down gets a little spicy then becomes powdery, soapy retaining a bit of lemon smell on the dry down. Great to spray going to the gym, showering after then having a light casual day--Shirt, jeans/Bermuda shorts and sneakers/topsiders. Youthful scent. It's a freshie and would last probably 3-4 hours. Projection and Sillage kept to a minimum. This is a frag that won't get much attention but you know you smell good. Best effect on respray if ever. If you have the likes of NV, VPH or even Bulgari Aqua, you can pass on this.

Reminds me of a mix between something like MB Legend/AF Fierce and Jaguar Pace. Opening is not bad... But it quickly becomes all the cliche terms we use... "Generic", "boring", "synthetic", etc. But... It obviously smells nice. Now... I picked this up in a rack store for $20. For that price, it's not a bad fresh, gym, office, casual type scent. Nice for a younger guy just starting to wear fragrances or just a Summer time "errand runner" / office scent rotation. Azzaro Wanted Tonic, is a muuuch better Azzaro option for a Summer fresh fragrance. But there are also much better options then Wanted Tonic.

Don’t own this, but I’ll pick it up if I find it for the right price...I like everything it’s compared to and it could always stay at work or in the gym bag. ...but I have to say, to whoever said they were surprised Azzaro would put this out, ehhh, have you smelled much Azzaro? Chrome and most of its flankers, Wanted and Wanted Tonic, I mean the list goes on but yeah...Azzaro is exactly who would throw something like this out and hope it sticks.

This fragrance is the reason why I don't go by those so called YouTube fragrance reviewers so many crapped on this saying synthetic this boring blah blah blah... Trust me this is outstanding smells divine has it been done before yes but like the Great house of Azzaro they put there own twist almost magical! Perfect for spring summer and fall, don't sleep on this one frag heads BLIND BUY WORTHY TRUST!!!!!

My favourite cheapie ! Don't get fooled by the negative reviews. This is a fresh scent with a lot of character. It has that clean and fresh effect with a difference. Not that boring typical aqua fresh synthetic smell. Not joking, this is one of the most perfumes I get complimented with. Best for summer ! Azzaro never dissapoints. Perfume: 7/10 Performance: 8/10 Worth for the price: 11/10

Good amount of geranium here. I'm unsure if this is a dupe/clone of Prada Luna Rossa Sport bc I've never smelled it, but the bottle color scheme looks similar and notes are similar. The tonka adds a nice sweet swirl (but not overwhelming). Good deal for $20-30. Nice gym fragrance and summer dumb reach for lounging around the house/errands

I own this. I'm not sure why I bought it. Probably because it was cheap and it was Azzaro. This is not Fierce, it is not Legend, definitely not Ralph's Club. It's a pleasant aromatic lavender scent. When I first smelled it I immediately threw it in my gym bag, where it has served me well.

$19.99 in Shoppers Drug Mart right now for any Canada based fragheads. It's identical to both Fierce and Mont Blanc Legend. Average performance all over but its 20 dollars for a 100mls bottle so it's nothing to be complaining about.

I haven't tried this yet (and thus, haven't voted) but I think the reason there's quite a few "hate" is because this bottle looks soooo cheap. Like drugstore or mini-market cologne cheap.

Vibe I get from this is like a cheap knock off of Prada LR, but we shall see. They could’ve chosen a better cap... or at least reused the chrome cap.

Smells identical to Mont Blanc Legend but perhaps less of a spice underneath, and doesn’t last nearly as well

If you want a lighter, fresher version of Legend/Fierce get this.
